Nice video.  That was a bit of a mess of cables at the end though  Shocked
1022  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: NewEgg Giftcards 7% Off on: May 19, 2013, 04:33:41 AM
Would you be willing to agree that I order my products from Newegg before releasing escrow?

IE: Send coins to escrow for giftcard, code given to me, products ordered to ensure the funds are good, then escrow released.

Escrow would check giftcard balance then release my funds and release your card.

https://secure.newegg.com/GiftCard/BalanceCheck.aspx

Couldn't you spend the card after the escrow is released, before the buyer gets to spend?  I think ChanceCoats123 method should be implemented, as it is the safest.  If you would be willing to go with his method, I would buy one of these.

Not sure what to say, homies. GPU 0 and 1 is each core of one of my 6990's, and GPU 2 and 3 are each core of the 5970 in that one rig.

20 mhz gives 54 mhash? I think your math is off...

Try it on either a 6970 or 6990 and see your yourself. I have a couple 6990s in my farm running at those speeds.

In my experience with 6950's, More than a 20 MHz boost is required to add a 54mhps speed increase

Yeah, your pic is an example of what is achievable with a 6990.  I was referring to OP's poor performance with his due to a bad miner conf.  Regardless of what your conf is though, a 20 MHz boost isn't going to improve hash rates by 54 mhps  Undecided

I'm sure if you sent it to me I would be able to tell you how to get it above 1.2khs

LOL WHAT
Where are you pulling all these from, it was legit gift and you have activated it.
It is not removed from your account, it is still at your account.
What is your problem?

Although Steam scamming is very popular, that one guy could be lying.  In an effort to restore your validity, could you tell us how you get these games for such a good price?

Good luck.  I tried to offer something a few months ago that had a rate of $1/kilohash and nobody wanted anything to do with it.

Just a friendly reminder to people that you can buy BBQ coins on bter without the risk of getting scammed.

Yeah I'm not a scammer but I just realized that you could sell BBQ on there...

How about north of 0.35
1031  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Best case? on: May 18, 2013, 03:09:29 AM
Hello everyone Smiley
I know that the best case for mining is... no case.
But I have different needs.

I own a cabin in the woods with free electricity (wind and solar 3kW) and I plan to build a rig.
But the cabin is not an apartment, the basement has some dust and some small insects (ants and so), like every place in the woods Smiley
Thus I need to keep my hardware safe and protect.

Can you suggest me the best case to accommodate
Asrock as970extreme4
Seasonic X-1250
and 4x radeon 7950 (or may be 4x 7970 if I will be able to afford them)

I'm looking at Cooler Master HAF XB, is it ok?
Can it also accommodate the cards with the riser cables?
or is there any better?

Thank you

Too bad you can't just go caseless.  When looking for your case, you'll need to keep the width in mind.  If it is too wide, the risers won't be able to reach the cards assuming you lay pieces of wood or metal to put the cards on.  It would be good to figure out the length of the risers you will be using and then look for a case.

Wish I lived in OH!  It would be awesome if we could get a lot of restaurants accepting this.

Not interested in GDC.  I'll update my original post to include which coins I would like.

I am interested in how quickly they mine and how high they overclock.
1037  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 6990s on: May 18, 2013, 01:04:09 AM

Two 6990s running at 350kh/s? That's worse than awful.

Yeah... Considering he has two different cards that has to be some sort of GPU config error.

They are at really low temps too so they could probably get a good ways beyond 400khps per core with a proper conf and some overclocking.

Do not buy or trade with this person. Activates fine then Steam calls game fraudulent and deleted game from account. Seller was told me he was going to reimburse me my btc but now has not responded in two days and has been logged in the forums within that time. DONT BUY FROM THIS GUY!

I figured as much.  Should have mentioned this earlier  Undecided
