1021  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory won't finish scanning new wallet on: November 19, 2017, 02:00:09 AM
Please update and try again. If it fails, delete your db folder and try again (C:\Users\Josh\AppData\Roaming\Armory\databases)

Thanks gangtraet--pastebin is new to me.  They wouldn't let me post the whole armory log so I posted where armory starts up and gets stuck on scanning.  Here's the link.  Many thanks for your help.

This is super short and not what I need. Don't doctor the logs, just post as much as you can starting from the bottom. At any rate, you need to update.

There is no S2X fork anymore. It was called off before it could take place. The tx is still out there and it's possible it will one day confirm. If you don't want your coins to randomly show up on Coinbase one of these days, you should send them to an address you control.

Show me a fresh dbLog.txt
1025  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory to CoinBase on: November 17, 2017, 02:45:44 PM
Your node is shutting down midway through the process. Make sure you have enough space on both the block chain disk and the armory db disk. The logs report alarming low available space. Also this log does not show any evidence of a rebuild, it's only rescanning blockchain data, i.e. it means you did not delete the content of your DB folder as instructed.
1026  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory to CoinBase on: November 17, 2017, 01:24:42 PM
I rebuild the databases but the "Scanning transaction history" gets stuck at 99% always..

Where do I find that dblog.txt you asked for?

C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Armory\

That's the bitcoind log, I want dbLog.txt. At any rate, delete the content of you databases folder and let it build from scratch (C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Armory\databases).

Also make sure you have enough free space on your blockchain data disk.

Post the new logs, post dbLog.txt too

That's the one.
1030  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory to CoinBase on: November 16, 2017, 10:01:22 PM
Update to 0.96.4 RC1 and try again.

Show me your armorylog.txt
1032  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Transactions Timing Out on: November 16, 2017, 01:43:29 PM
You need to update to 0.96.4 RC1 to be able to use Core 0.15.1. You can broadcast manually, that doesn't matter in the long term.
1033  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory to CoinBase on: November 16, 2017, 01:42:42 PM
In Armory, right click the transaction and pick "Bump Fee".
1034  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - and what about notebook theft? on: November 15, 2017, 04:26:27 PM
Your notebook should not have private keys on it.
1035  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Using Armory on the BCH chain on: November 15, 2017, 04:25:40 PM
the other meta issue around harvesting one's BCH is this recommended procedure to move one's BTC away from a private key before sending BCH to a BCH address.  i completely understand this recommendation as one doesn't want to risk losing their BTC using a crude workaround if they don't do this first.  however, a BCH tool, like Trezor's, that doesn't require this beforehand would be helpful to refine the tool to the point where this doesn't have to be done at all.  it's a problem b/c many of us have hundreds to thousands of private keys with BTC/BCH stored on them and the current recommended process requires us to effectively double the number of tx's to harvest BCH while at the same time risking anonymity (by address merging out of convenience).

You have to go through this step to preserve the security model of Bitcoin to begin with. I'm not pulling these recommendations out of nowhere.
1036  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: There will be a Bitcoin Gold (BTG) signer? on: November 15, 2017, 03:48:37 PM
Or get on their slack and ask them to point you at the changesets. I'm not going there. They didn't bother extending me an invite, I'm not gonna bother getting one.
1037  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: There will be a Bitcoin Gold (BTG) signer? on: November 15, 2017, 03:40:10 PM
Yeah so Ima have to get on their slack and ask directly or read their code? Already deterred =D
1038  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: There will be a Bitcoin Gold (BTG) signer? on: November 15, 2017, 03:25:16 PM
Do they have documentation on their replay and wipeout protection?
1039  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: There will be a Bitcoin Gold (BTG) signer? on: November 15, 2017, 01:36:31 PM
Valuation is abysmal atm. I don't know what has to be done to support BTG, someone would have to point me at their repo/docs. I'm really taking this from the perspective of lowest effort possible atm, as these forks are more likely to ruins users' privacy than to actually net them anything. Not that I am indulging in hand holding, but don't expect me to spend significant time on this currently. Aren't they still in premine anyways?

Post your armorylog.txt for review.
