Plans for any airdrop? I believe this coin now has nothing to do with Disney. Right? If thats the case then its not as lucrative as it seems. I may be wrong though.

If I have 20 000 RAIN what is better and why:
1. Have it in one wallet and stake 20 000.
2. Have 2 wallets with 10 000 each and stake them separately.
You can have just 20k staking if you like as that amount will earn stakes fast however when it does stake you will have to wait until those coin mature again which could take a while. That is why I always say to split them into 10k blocks for people who have a small amount of Rain. If people have a large amount say over 100k then 20k blocks are fine and work well. The reason why I say to split them into blocks is because you might stake on 1 of the 10k blocks and while that one is maturing and then building weight again you still have the other 10k there ready to stake anytime. Sometimes you might get both blocks stake in the one day like I have been getting but it's best to split them into blocks of 10k. Also you can do this all in the one wallet. Thank you for the answer, nice to know that I do not need 2 wallets! So I just have to turn on coin control and split my 20K into two 10K blocks. Do I need to turn off coin control after I split my coins or it does not matter? If your stake orphans, you do not have to wait for the coins to mature again before they are eligible to stake. This is a common misconception. |

problems right now, but hopefully we can fix it soon. Btw does anybody know why we have to transition to a new wallet? I get the APR is halving but could that not work on old one?
This is a great question... why do we have to continually transition for every apr drop when they are all preplanned? Is it really needed to do multiple hardforks? You could not do one code change that includes all apr drops and make one new wallet? |

The main issue with these algorithms is that no pools mergemine any of them and still dont.
Most people dont even mine most of these algos.

so, most of the coins are still sold by ico, thought it was another airdrop coins based on the topic. 1% airdrop is almost nothing. By the way, the ANN should give more info for investors.
More troubling is the 400% bonus. It means that at some point most of these coins will DEFINITELY be dumped and LOTS of people will get screwed. |

The FUD is strong with this one.  I am not fudding.. All of his posts are in anther language that he has never posted in before.. And I think increasing tx fees would drive people away from the coin. here is another idea to reduce coin supply:
how about HIGH TRANSACTION FEES WHEN YOU SEND THE COINS OUT OF YOUR WALLET?
i know another pos coin that has 25,000 - 50,000 transaction fee when people send coins out of their wallet to an exchange site.
this will help reduce inflation by:
1) drive people to hold coins in the wallet for the long run.
2) all the coins from the fees will be burned.
so what do you think about 13,337 coins as transaction fee?
This would likely just drive people away from 1337. |

I'm completely new to 1337. I like the premise of the project so thought I'd give folding a go.
Currently, I'm folding in the browser with a username and passkey.
Also, last night I downloaded the wallet, but, over 12hrs later it's still syncing with another 848500 blocks to go. Is this right? At this rate, it'll take maybe another 48hrs to complete the sync.
