It should be -u user -p pass. yes all that is fine i just shortened the end. it runs with -k groestlcoin but all shares are rejected. so that means if i just change the algo statement i should be mining not so? read: https://trinity.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstartedrofl -k instead of --algorithm why is there advice to use --algorithm in the first place? such misleading algo= is for the conf file, not the miner |

Have you some problems with the math? Ok, maybe in your class is not yet studied. - 61.5% chance of the reward being 1 TTY
- 20% chance of the reward being 2 TTY
- 10% chance of the reward being 5 TTY
- 5% chance of the reward being 10 TTY
- 2.5% chance of the reward being 20 TTY
- 1% chance of the reward being 50 TTY
If this info is correct average block reward is: 1*0.615+2*0.2+5*0.1+10*0.05+20*0.025+50*0.01 = ~3 TTY. Please, somebody check this, I am too lazy to double-check. Total money supply is: ~5065200 First week: 30240 First month: 129600 TTY I guess we'll see. You can't guarantee probability though, therefore its still an unknown. |

I'm still down 5k from the forking fuckup, TBH I want compensating from that PREMINE you have there, 5k isn't a lot and I will just keep going on about it untill I get it
Im pretty sure that the premine was distributed as it says in the ANN, so good luck. Also, its not the devs fault this happened so therefore the dev team should in no way have to compensate.. Compensation should come from dedicatedpool at some point here, they have a bad track record for doing exactly the same thing to other coins. This is not the first coin they forked and continued to mine on for hours... their fault, and yours, not the devs. |
