delisted on bter?

Trading continues on BTER, but they have not upgraded their wallet, and it continues to be in Maintenance Mode.
Once BUK 2.0 is released they will be able to migrate over their wallet and open market back up.

Is there a block explorer for this? How many 'counterfeit' coins were created in the past... and sent to cryptsy to drain funds? Was this coin made by vern?
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOVI - YobitVirtualCoin - 5% POS [ROM] on: June 09, 2016, 04:22:07 AM
I withdrew from Yobit into wallet. Open wallet today, cannot send coins to yobit...Huh??
Deposit YOVI
Deposit for such currency is temporary off.

Awesome... flush those btc down the toilet?
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Hi-Rate PoS SPROUTS sha256 pos+pow 芽菜货币 on: June 08, 2016, 01:47:58 AM
Today, I applied to yobit for Sprouts.

I have no faith in yobit and I also do not recommend anyone ever uses that exchange. There are several coins that they are damaging because they refuse to update code.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [STRB] SuperTurboStake - Efficient. PoW/PoS 5000% APR! on: June 07, 2016, 08:46:26 PM
Personally id pull my orders off https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=STRB_DOT
and place orders here: https://www.coinexchange.io/market/STRB/BTC

if strb community helps with serious volume, it will be fine exchange.
and a burn of say 1/2 the total STRB coins minted could also help also a lot.
btw strb windows wallet works fine. Once you use correct blocks it syncs http://216.14.113.56/cryptochainer.chains/chains/SuperTurbostake_blockchain.zip extract n copy over blocks and works just fine.

just my 2 cents

last block time is   Thu Jun 2 12:47:46 2016

and its stuck there for over 1/2 hour with 28 connections and has not loaded even one single blok from the moment i started it
so obviously its NOT working
just your two cents

Amore Jaz
You must be doing something wrong. We all synced. Which wallet are you using?

the last wallet posted a couple of pages back to be honest...it actually looks like this coin isnt even worth the effort to turn it on. too many issues and a Dev team that is way too good for this coin.... opps i meant = gone!
i dont want to be a nay sayer... point blank and if things would work half assed it would be reason for trying but not even  half assed!
i still havent decided if the wallet will just be  = C:/FORMATTED off my computer or not!?
i know this sounds negitive but how could someone blame me?

Amore Jaz

Gone? Where have we gone? I have personally been working with a group of other devs to fix the issues that we have had, and now my wallet is working great among others. I have sent coins to coinexchange.io and also to cryptopia without issue as of today.
Who are you working for? lol
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [STRB] SuperTurboStake - Efficient. PoW/PoS 5000% APR! on: June 07, 2016, 08:43:36 PM

put in SuperTurbostake.conf
type %appdata% in search if you cant find it
Should be in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\SuperTurbostake\

thank for your answer. i waas reading about it and i found the same thing; but now i got another problem i DONT have that file i have these files on my C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\SuperTurbostake\

database
.lock
addr.dat
blk0001.dat
blkindex.dat
db.log
debug.log
wallet.dat

so i got no SuperTurbostake.conf file. I still have my old wallet so i wonder if it may be on the new wallet where i should do it.  Huh

You need to make SuperTurbostake.conf yourself, open in notepad and add the nodes Smiley

I would say the end of cryptsy was what hurt the price of sprouts but it has shown its resilience in a hurt market and even when BTC went up in value dramatically we did not die out. I think Sprouts has a lot of room to grow. I would like to get community opinion on 2 ideas. A)Reducing of APR and/or B) Increase movement of PoS difficulty level. I think these would help the coin overall and would make it so we will be able to work on more meaningful projects in the future. Sprouts has already shown how dramatic it can be in a unpredictable enviroment.. lets help bring on the next stage

same problem. 1 block left to synch, and hangs for 10 hours.

Testing a wallet now to see if that problem is resolved. Ill keep yall posted

Ok, resynced from scratch again with those 3 new nodes posted and once again it has stopped at block 102893

Debug.log:

Any ideas?

I am working on tracing the issue here and finding a solution as we speak. Thanks for working on this with us, ill get back soon. Thanks 5mil
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DCR] Decred - Hybrid PoW/PoS | btcsuite Devs | Tons of New Features | Go on: June 02, 2016, 03:04:01 PM
Well, we did thank you for sgminer contribution: https://github.com/nicehash/sgminer/releases/tag/5.4.0 and yes, we contacted Decred team multiple times regarding stratum support, right from the beginning - even before Decred was even launched - but there was never any real interest expressed for the implementation.

It's also the Decred users who would benefit if ccminer would have support for NiceHash stratum, but the decision is of course yours. Thanks anyway!

Thought I'd chime in to say that the reason the Decred developers couldn't be of more use at the time is because they're not miner developers. To my knowledge, only one developer PoW mines, and only casually at that. If they had the resources and time to contribute development to the points NiceHash raised and needed help with, they would have, but as you can judge by the development activity, there is currently and was at the time a lot else going on that had to take priority.

Having said that, the project is and PoW miners can be very grateful for Claymore, Epsylon3, NiceHash, Wolf0, and all the pool operators stepping up in different ways to improve PoW mining with their competencies and contributions in the area. Their presence and work helps build a much stronger ecosystem, and the developers will support them where possible if resources and time permit (goes without saying).

Is this coin broken? Withdrawal issues Im hearing? Coins not moving?

SuperTurbostake blockchain is updated on CryptoChainer.com.  It's currently synced as of 6/1, with the latest wallet version.

Thanks a lot.

Ok, so this is like the 20th time we have tried this, but now we have a new issue, it wont sync past block 102893

There is only one connection and it is one of the hardcoded noes, but it still will not sync

We cannot keep compiling and resyncing STRB wallets everyday.

We will wait until there is a solid network (10+ nodes) on the new version and an official block explorer is available, otherwise we simply cannot allow this coin to be traded as it is clogging up our support system with missing deposits and withdrawals tickets that we cannot do anything about.

Once there is a stable network and block explorer please let us know and we can try one more time to get this coin running.

Thanks

Completely remove blockchain except for the wallet.dat

Compile from the github: https://github.com/5mil/superturbostake

Replace chain with this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5ZlAhvy0lhsN3ViUGNyR3JwRmM/view?usp=sharing\

ATTN USERS (ESPECIALLY CRYPTOPIA) YOU WILL LIKELY HAVE TO RUN "repairwallet" COMMAND IN YOUR WALLET. IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THIS:
Windows users: open wallet and go to "Help-->Debug Window--> Console tab. type "repairwallet" and hit enter. It may show some output or may say "passed" The wallet should then sync.
Linux daemon: With Daemon already running: in terminal in your Superturbostake/src folder, type ./SuperTurbostake repairwallet
This should help. Let me know if theres any more issues. Thanks, 5mil.

Hello. I dont know who you are. I am assuming you are from cryptopia.
Welcome to the discussion!!
There are issues with the coin and we are doing our best to solve them.
The coin is in demand and there are hundreds of people who have it.... so can we please work together and find a solution?
You should not have to resync from scratch again.

I do see that you have the correct protocol and that is one step closer to a solution. Please provide me with the nodes you are currently connecting to.. as Im not sure if this is cryptopia or yobit or another exchange?? 68.117.4.111 seems to be your only connection still.. and this should be a good node, but I will list more nodes below:

addnode=82.46.79.119
addnode=144.76.71.141
addnode=24.92.59.48

Ill keep adding to this list for the benefit of all users. I apologize for the issues that we have been having but I ask that all users and exchanges please bear with us so we can come to a solution in a timely manner. Thank you, 5mil.

"version" : 60421,

where i can download this version?

This version number is official and is now pushed to the github @ https://github.com/5mil/Superturbostake

I have been working with JustBob and this is the newest code available, which incorporates JustBob's changes.

Attn: Cryptopia and (yobit?? is that still a site?)
Please update to this code and remove existing blockchain, and resync from 0. If you have problems syncing, please pm me.

I will suggest you pm Yobit on their BCT thread, easiest way to let them update wallet.
\

i sent a request on the site earlier. Ill do that as well.

Milly is still trying to validate those recent wallets. Proceed with caution on those.

The new wallet seems to work, but I havent noticed that JustBob rolled back commits to make this wallet. I dont think that the protocol number change is forking the network, and I think its great to have a checkpoint server right now but I didnt know it was being used and I was using a banning client which banned all protocols before 60420 which was banning all of these checkpoint server wallets, because of old clients. All other checkpoints were removed from this version as well, which I just checkpointed right before that.  Now with this new "checkpoint server" wallet, one cannot tell apart the "old rule" wallets from the new. Other than that it does seem to work and is the only wallet that connects, I just hope that it hasnt forked the network due to lack of communication. Anyways, JustBob? Any reason we shouldnt be changing the protocol number?

Has network forked?
Yeah maybe.

Two community members, I and another person built a new wallet and enabled the checkpoint server to avoid this issue in the future.
I've got the checkpoint server running on a system here, and so far it's working as intended.

I aslso command prompted it with the

SuperTurbostake.exe -checkblocks=1

The problem is it doesn't check every single block. I had an established wallet and it just needed to repost the transactions.

thanks!
