Voxelus had a second story by Engadget this week, but like I said, there is a transitional phase happening here. Molly is awesome and here to take part with an important role, but give her a chance to let that start to happen. Rome wasn't built in three days either, nothing is.

Yet another nail in the coffin for crypto as a whole. The greedy bastards in the crypto community seem to outweigh the true innovators and believers by more than 10 to 1. This is why Cryptos as decentralized currency will all eventually fail. Block chain tech is great, but vultures in the crypto community suck the life out of all that is good or potentially good. I have lost my trust in the crypto community as a whole, which is sad since I was one of the more optimistic and faithful investors. I even got more than 20 friends and family members to buy bitcoin and various alts, but now, with VOX in particular, it's tough to face them. I told them about this guy named Jim who is trustworthy and wouldn't let me down. Atleast that's what I thought... Only way my trust could be restored is if someone put their money where his mouth is and at least offered to buy back the coins at the price I paid for them. That would go a long way in restoring my faith and trust in crypto, but that would never happen.
Again, the greed is sucking the life out of Crypto, and all that is good. It's just sad.

Sprouts might really take off if we were to make newly minted coins unspendable for 1 month unless you are one of the top 5 account holders. This would create a lot of demand to accumulate and compete for the largest balances.

I've just bought some Sprouts, wallet downloaded nicely but I'm now getting the "Checkpoint too old - wait for block chain to download" message even though it says it's up to date. Is this anything I should be concerned about?
ignore the checkpoint warning. The checkpoint server isn't online anymore / maintained from original dev. It won't affect staking. yes and I will update the checkpoint soon so the message will go away naturally. Sorry got bogged down lately but im still working on it |

It still remains to be seen what is going to happen with Yobit. Who really knows? I havent had any major problems there as of yet
Edit: I do want to note that there ARE some annoying/concerning little things about yobit that I do not like. The first thing is: If you type c-cex into their chatbox, they change what you type and it spits out some phrase like "i am gay, i like dicks" which is plain offensive and immature. Take that off, thats very lame. The ICO situation is pretty insane as well but I think thats more on the shoulders of the scam devs who never do anything with their ico's.

Hey folks, sorry I havent popped in lately. I just want to update that I am working behind the scenes on the next generation Sprouts wallet.
There will be some minor fixes made soon which will not require a hardfork, and I have also put some work into a hard fork change for PoS APR %.
That option will be ready soon and when implemented things should go rather smoothly because I will give pools, explorers, users, exchanges, etc
ample time to make adjustments.
I was watching the situation with Bittrex disabling the market and it seems as though its now back with the trade history.
The part I was irked most by was the deletion of the trade history when the market went down but it seems to all be back in place,
although im not sure I have personally got any reason why the market went down.
Speaking of which, as a reminder, ALWAYS keep the majority or ALL of your coins in YOUR OWN WALLET!
Exchanges are not a good place to store coins, and best practices would dictate DOING IT YOURSELF!!
