Yeah. Defaced and a few other vets have been helping me get everything in order. We are currently working on an update to make syncing work correctly.
We had a long discussion about how to set the rewards and how to set the difficulty and I am quite happy about the results. I feel as though its another step forward in the land of Trinity which is evolving to new levels of support and development that it has never been to before. We are very excited for the future.
Thank you to everyone who supports TTY and stay tuned!

As mentioned, we are on the tipping feature at Cryptopia as well as now having two pools running strong that need your hashpower!

Hi everyone !

I am glad that TrinityCoin is alive again!

However, I have doubts about the reward for the block.
Currently, the average reward of the block is about 45. Previously it was about 3.5. This means that previously by month was mined about 151 200 coins. Now are mined 1 944 000 coins. That's over 12 times more! This means that previously you had to mine a year to mine as many coins as now are mined in a month!

I think that such a big difference in the blocks reward is unfair in relation to the previous miners.

Besides, earlier a well-defined probability blocks allowed to determine the number of blocks of a certain reward by which a block of reward 50 was a rarity and almost purpose of mining. Something like hunting on this block.

Dev, please take this into consideration.

What also need to be taken into consideration is that before the blocks were coming much much faster so this is actually about the same or less per month. The difficulty is now solid, before it was too easy. It would not go up high enough so thats why we mined 900k blocks so fast. Now that it is a working difficulty, the rate is much lower for blocks. Overall we may have more coins in the end but Trinity has always been way undervalued anyways so even with the new reward schedule we will remain a low count coin overall. Thanks for the input!

725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] Trinity - TTY (SHA256d, Scrypt, Myr-groest) Trinamic Block Value System on: September 21, 2015, 05:23:42 PM
Currency Without Bias
The evolution of cryptocurrency has always been a product of great innovation, challenges, and discoveries that fuel new technologies and creative ideas. It is the spirit of invention that drives new altcoins to seek out and master new methods of security and effectiveness, to continually strive for greater degrees of efficiency, and to ultimately deliver something that is truly praise-worthy to the community and to the world.

Trinity is the manifestation of that ideology.

Three unique proof of work algorithms on a single, sturdy blockchain allows you the freedom to mine with your existing hardware, and a creative random block reward system will ensure everyone is mining on a fair, level playing field.

defaced you should make a new ANN thread unless you can edit the op.

Also, I heard a rumor that this coin is trying to copy Trinity but make it more confusing. Is this true?

Kind of makes me glad I haven't bothered upgrading openssl in some time.

If you havent upgraded in some time you are likely vulnerable to heartbleed.

I would suggest personally reaching out to the guys at bittrex and/or c-cex and showing them progress that's been made and plans for the future.  They're looking for a strong community, exactly like what's being built here.

I sent them a message to add TTY to c-cex voting list. Should be on there soon, so dont forget to vote!

Hey everyone! Glad to see some more interest in the coin. We are starting to evolve into something that could actually have some legs. I would like to make some changes tonight if needed. It seems the issue with faster blocks traces directly back to an error in the difficulty code. I meant to just make it more reasonable for smaller machines, but it appears that I went too far. We really need more hashpower to confirm that, but im fairly sure that the block times would not greatly increase with hashpower alone. I have also noticed a catch that may cut the blocks off at 900k and thats why we are planning on making the change there to 1 TTY. I plan on there being no block cap or perhaps set it at 5,000,000 total blocks. I don't think this will effect the overall supply in the end very much, but that is very difficult to calculate with the random blocks. Either way, we will be well within reason of lower end coin cap territory. Thanks.

Long live the Collective! Non nobis solum sed omnibus.

Smiley Symbol of unity right there!

Hey whats up Ritchie Rich?

I will throw in on a bounty for new pools. Seems the minep.it is the only one only.
