1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 4 Altcoins to look at in 2023 on: June 28, 2023, 07:46:41 AM
Regarding Doge, even though he has popularity because of the existence of Elon and can be said because of the influencer, I am not interested in it, if seen from the probability, Elon will definitely give a pump to Dogecoin as usual, I might be interested in investing my money in Doge, and waiting Elon gives the signal.LOL
You said you aren't interested, but you also stated that you may consider to put your money in Doge. So, which one is the correct one? You must understand that Dogecoin is a meme coin only although it becomes popular because of Elon Musk factor. I don't see any strong fundamental in this coin, it purely relies on Elon Musk only. How if Elon Musk never tweets or state anything related to Dogecoin/meme coin again? If it happens, I assume Dogecoin may drop its value drastically. Are you still interested to put your money in a risky meme coin like Doge?
You don't need to be serious about responding to my arugemn, sir, I also laughed at the end of the sentence. Fundamentally indeed Dogecoin is not so strong, both from the ecosystem and its utility development in this meme coin, I agree with you about this, even when Elon no longer makes a stir by promoting this dog's coin, last time was allegedly that Elon also received criticism to stop advertising Coins like this, if they continue to do it will be subject to sanctions.
It is likely that Elon is not as free as it used to talk about Dogecoin, or even he let go of his nickname as the father of a dog.
I will only use the price fluctuations when Elon plays again, it might be at risk, but I tried it several times, it should be remembered that I did not have the intention to buy in the early morning.
1042  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we end the *VOLATILITY OF BITCOIN* on: June 28, 2023, 07:00:49 AM
When bitcoin stops being volatile, it will practically turn into stabelcoin. but then there will be a question of whether people will stay interested in it. After all, volatility allows you to earn, volatility attracts attention. So the lack of volatility is bad for bitcoin, but probably good for altcoins.
Volatility is the big attraction, particularly the large scale fluctuation increase the risk of winning big as well as losing. People fear about the volatility for some reason, but it is the feature that supports making good money. As mentioned the lack of volatility will surely be unliked by the common people who make something out of the market fluctuation.
In other views, volatility is a charm that is quite attractive to trading bitcoin, the average trader sees the perfect bitcoin side of its volatility to take advantage.
And indeed basically stopping bitcoin volatility is very unlikely because of supply and demand, which makes volatility itself, and that with an open market and no one can control it.

It seems that bitcoin fluctuations will always be high because of the large number of speculators, many people think that bitcoin fluctuations are controlled by several people, but if we look at the facts of transactions, we will say that everything happens because of market conditions or real transactions, a market cap of more than $ 520 billion, of course, requires large funds to make bitcoin price controllable.
Even if a person has a 90% owner of the total bitcoin circulating, more or less fluctuations will exist even though it is relatively small, so in my opinion it is impossible to eliminate price fluctuations.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on live game or while game hasn't started yet? on: June 27, 2023, 01:03:55 PM

Cast your bet in a match that have yet not started or bet when the game is already live?
It must have been asked before but in case new sports bettors have not yet read such thread, reply back your opinion about it.

Found myself losing when the money line changes from 1.75 to 4.35 as the game began. But sometimes when I also wait for the game to start, it changes to worse such from 1.75 to 1.10

I prefer betting before the game cast its start. Maybe the odds might change before the game turns live but it is what it is. I will rely solely on the team I betting with. Also, when the game is already live, and then I put up a bet, I tend to confuse about which side I'm going to bet on because I am looking at the stats changing, unlike the pregame which I have a static analysis that is yet to move.
Things that are confusing when we bet on matches that have begun, it will give a messy cycology because the odds change especially one of the teams dominating the ODDS match will change and we have a little regret, why we don't bet when the game has not begun.
I myself prefer to bet before the game starts, especially with the favorite team that has almost the same number of odds.

Live betting can be so intense and at same time advantageous for the gambler as you have to make your decision on which side of the odds to bet for based on how the game is actually playing out Infront of you as you watch and you also needs to be very quick in deciding cause odds could change at any seconds.

I prefer to bet on live games when my staking power is high by reason of the odds size of the team that's leading in the game and it's when you have good amount to stake with that such small odds can give out a tangible profit. And live games if you really careful and patient to observe before placing a bet it is very hard to lose compared to betting when game hasn't started yet.
It is indeed a good method to make a direct bet, because we can see a little pattern of games that exist on the field, but as said before that if one of the teams has more dominance in the match, the probability of multiplier/odds will be reduced, but that Suitable for those of you who have a large number of bets 1.2 - 1.5 You can still get high profits.

Just to the notice, I see in the description it is Welcome to the third Event of the $50,000 Duelympic Games.

So have Duelbits divided the 50k pool into 5 different Events or there is something that I missed to see in the past?

Yes the promotion is divided into 5 events, it seems that it is 3 days long per event. Good thing in this promotion is that it is internal promotion for duelbits players only, so it is not like the most other slot promotions where they are global promotions. The scoring system seems to be varies as well (different for each event). This current 3rd event is about losing/winning streak and win multipliers. 50 prizes to grab is a good deal but the minimum bet is just a bit higher for me now as I have reduced my gambling funds a lot in recent years.
Event for internal player is the advantage that we can get from the duelbs, they prioritize their customers to stay with them, it is a good strategy to increase the loyalty of gamblers.
This event is quite large and certainly lively every event, but a fairly high betting limit makes me hit and think that maybe another time I can participate in an event that has a lower betting limit, if I force it maybe it will destroy my finance, what I Can still eat or not for next week if you pursue this event.

But for those of you who follow this, happy fighting and hopefully the people in this forum will be the winner at the Big Event Duelbs this time.
1046  Economy / Economics / Re: How billionaires are really affecting the economy. on: June 26, 2023, 07:01:22 PM
Why do you define a billionaire is the most detrimental thing for human welfare in economy? Is not he used to be the same as those who starve today, not getting what he wanted when he was young, and they succeeded with his enthusiasm to become a billionaire. Do you hate the success of others in achieving their goals?
Do you mean someone's wealth must be controlled evenly?
Not a few billionaires share their wealth with charity institutions, and also the surrounding community.

I think most people forget one of the biggest contributions that Billionaires bring to the economy, namely : Job creation

You mentioned that they only contribute 3% to the taxes of a country, but how much is 3% of say 5 Billion Dollars... for only 1 person. How many services can be paid by that contribution and how many government salaries can be paid by that.  Tongue

They also create a lot of jobs in the private sector and those people also pay taxes and that money is also being used to fund projects in the public sector.  Wink
This is a very good point, those billionaires open job vacancies for many people, pay tax obligations in accordance with applicable regulations in their country, and sometimes they sponsor education for the development of education and also free infrastructure development.
I don't understand where the point of view of the article is. Undecided

1050  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: June 25, 2023, 09:47:56 AM
Saving that percentage isn't hard. But what makes life hard if it's that easy to save that amount monthly? Well, easy, we don't have the same salaries. Those that are earning a lot from their salaries and businesses can do this much but the wise people wouldn't just save that amount for savings but they'll allocate it for savings. If you're living as a single, you'll easily determine how much percentage you want to save every cut off of your salary. There will be not that much obligations for you except rents and tax but if you don't rent that there's a lot of money on you where you can put into other things. While I see couples and families struggling saving even lower than that percentage it's because of many factors like high cost of goods.
For single people who have a job/income and don't have the burden of supporting their family, it will certainly be easy for them to manage their finances in the best way to allocate their funds, including saving/investing in a percentage that may be larger than that.
while people already have partners or are the backbone of the family, of course it is not easy to manage finances, except maybe the income is stable, but even though it is stable it will also be very difficult to meet the percentage that must be saved, because unexpected funds may always be there if you have people's which you have to meet their needs.
1051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: June 25, 2023, 08:03:57 AM
Many people have turned away from investing in XRP coins due to lawsuits and legal complications. People are now choosing other currencies for investment. But if you have any plans for XRP then make your plans limited. That is, do not invest in this platform with a large amount of money, you can invest in this platform with a small amount of money if you want. Investing more money can increase your financial risk. Since investors have pulled themselves away from this coin, you should not place too much trust in this coin either. That's why I asked to invest with a small amount of money so that you can grab some opportunities if the value of this coin increases unexpectedly.
When viewed from the side of the cases that have occurred, it is indeed quite doubtful because there have been prolonged cases which have not been resolved until this second, and that is what I think we really have to be careful with this coin.
But if you look at the potential too, XRP has considerable potential in the financial system, and several companies also still support the development of this coin. If this case is resolved and won by the XRP developer, it will certainly have great potential to provide quite a high ROI. If you look at XRP's ranking, it is also still in the top 10 of CMC even though it was hit by a case from the SEC for years, of course the holder is very strong.
1052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: June 24, 2023, 04:41:18 PM
Much really better if they are the one who can disciver this since we would know if they are really interested with this and to make sure that they could last long with the challenges they can possibly face.

If we force them to learn this maybe they will hate its existence and might they will just totally ignore what you say about bitcoin to them. Bitcoin now is slowly reaching in the mainstream and for sure when they grow up they can learn about this plus they know that we are using it so provably all will take good place at the right time.
If the case teaches forcibly with all its mechanisms in carrying out Bitcoin and all explanations about the benefits, money, values and others to the children, of course it is the wrong decision, and makes children feel burdened with something that should not be present in their lives at the beginning , it is indeed too complicated, I myself who already have enough age to learn bitcoin, can't understand that in a matter of months.

Therefore if you really want to teach the child it is very ineffective for its development, you must have the right and gradual strategy according to the child's development, and most importantly does not make them forced to obey the polarization of your desires so that your child understands Bitcoin with fast time.
And the most important point in my opinion is to make your child know Bitcoin and they are interested in Bitcoin, if they are interested, they are usually more excited in getting to know Bitcoin, and that you also need to provide supervision to them.
1053  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can anyone Predict What's going on crypto market? on: June 24, 2023, 04:07:22 PM
Indeed predicting the future of the crypto market with certainty is impossible. The crypto market is a highly volatile market and is influenced by many external factors that are hard to predict. Nonetheless, news and market sentiment can have a significant impact on crypto prices. Therefore, following the latest news related to crypto can provide insight into what is happening in the market and how it can affect prices so that it can help us understand market trends and make the right investment decisions.
Even people who are experts in the field of market analysis are impossible to predict 100% precisely, if there is I will call him a god.
Fluctuations that occur in the Cryptocurrency market are indeed a lot that affects from external, such as economic news, the increase in the Fed interest, war, crisis, etc., that is what makes this market difficult to predict, because it is very sensitive to global news.
Seeing the latest notice is good, but if I see not always positive and negative news from news of influencing the market, so it also does not make an indication for you to predict prices that have accuracy above 20% of their success.
1054  Economy / Economics / Re: What roles does the poor play in the Economy? on: June 24, 2023, 02:54:22 PM
There is always a symbiosis at some point, and there are always benefits for the poor. If in the economy the poor can also be utilized as a market.
In this category, poor people also earn a little or a lot of income and they also certainly have needs for their lives, so you can sell your products to them as the lower class at the economic level.
In my opinion, one of the benefits of the poor in the economic field can still be used as a market for your low-quality products, can be used as labor for hard work (road construction, building construction and others, we can still take).
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a trap? on: June 23, 2023, 01:44:03 PM
Is of no doubt the market has already turned green and ETH surpasses 1.9k, though I was having this feeling to enter the market now that we have full confidence that we are no longer going dip. But I am a bit confused if this could be a bear trap, what do you think of the market is there any good analyst to give accurate results on what would happen next or to know if this is a bear trap.
I think this increase is not without reason, so it is not suddenly the market becomes green, who knows where the fresh air is, I personally see that this is the real of the entry of large companies that enter the crypto market, and that is what causes people's positive encouragement To enter the market that fits the price of the market.
I do not indicate that there is a bear trap in this case.

But what are you worried about if you are a long -term investor? Unless you are a short -term investor and / or trader who always requires benefits from trading made in a short time.
1056  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price, Where Next on: June 23, 2023, 12:52:00 PM
Predicting with certainty whether the price of Bitcoin will experience further decline or further recovery in the future is very difficult because the cryptocurrency market tends to be highly volatile and difficult to predict. However, it seems that lately there has been a significant increase in demand so the price of Bitcoin has increased where it is currently back at $30k. Therefore, there is a possibility that the bitcoin price movement will continue and it is possible that at the end of this year, the bitcoin price has the potential to reach above $40k.
Nobody really predicts correctly, because the price movement is very fluctuating as you say.
Even an increase of up to $ 30k who can predict this, in the midst of FUD circulating about the exchange that will get sanctions, and will have a negative impact on the market, but in fact instead it turns around.
If positive news sentiment continues, I think that not only $ 40k will be achieved by Bitcoin by the end of 2023, maybe we can pass the last ATH this year.

Another increase to $ 30k I never expected it, the effect of Blackrock and Fidelity is very useful for the increase in Bitcoin prices this week, Bitcoin moves from $ 25K to $ 30k not much time.
1057  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic problem, why is fiat difficult to hold. on: June 22, 2023, 03:58:22 PM
It's difficult to hodl fiat if you're the type of person that loves impulsive buying, shopping online, always eating outside, buying branded clothes and shoes, etc. In order to spend your money on the right things, you have to be matured enough to endure your thoughts on buying the things you want, instead focus on the things you need. Keep track on your expenses, budget your fiat, only buy things you wanted if you really have extra cash for it and don't do it always.
I don't think it is a problem if the money used is 20% of your total net income, sometimes at a certain level of life, branded goods or who have the impression of luxury in need of forming a trust or admiration for yourself, if you are one Celebrities will definitely need branded goods.
But if our income level is below and does not find a function on luxurious things for the journey of your life and business, then it does not need to be done and it is not.

Why is Fiat hard to hold?
Your income is small and most important because you don't have money management.
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold Bitcoin VS Hold Gold on: June 22, 2023, 03:14:20 PM
Gold is indeed a very good asset and has been recognized through thousands of years of history, it will always be the choice of some people, especially the older generations, who prefer safety. And if you ask anyone on this forum, 100% will definitely choose bitcoin because all are willing to take risks to have a lot of money, and bitcoin is what they have been looking for all this time.

Both have pros and cons and are used in different situations, so we see no need to compare. Depending on each person's taste, we should choose assets to invest accordingly. Just because we don't invest in gold doesn't mean it's not good, and vice versa.
Yes I agree on how to depend on each taste in judging and taking.
Gold is the safest thing to invest, but the benefits are relatively long, it takes years to count to find a high exchange rate in gold itself, although every year consistently finds an increase but it is not much.
Unlike the case with Bitcoin that can give you a fairly high profit especially if you hold it ten years ago, you have become a billionaire at this time, and I think that is an interesting fact that we can see.

The comparison must be there, I also used to compare all assets before I entered as an investor, the pros and cons is common, so I think it is not a problem, the problem of alignments is the problem of that person, because the decision exists in each of them as well.
But if you think both are positive and you can use both of them to make a profit, why not invest in both, to cover the shortcomings that exist in these two special assets.
1059  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't believe you on: June 22, 2023, 12:23:56 PM
There must be only 2 main reasons to deposit your Bitcoin to crypto exchanges. First one is to trade. Exchanges are the most convenient way to sell or buy Bitcoin. I don't trust other options. Second reason is to generate extra money through "earn" schemes. I personally disliked using exchanges to deposit money. I preferred hardware wallets. So OP is definitely right with it. Crypto investors should hold their coins at hardware wallets. But I think it can be benefiting to hold coins at earn schemes of exchanges too if you feel safe enough.
Yes, trading is one of my main reasons for entering bitcoin into exchange, to get more money with, if not trading for someone I might be difficult to increase the amount of my Bitcoin investment which I always keep in a hardware wallet when the amount is enough for saved.
Saving in the exchange even though we feel calm and safe, it is still very risky, as said that maybe the owner of the exchange takes away your money then runs abroad, if that happens you might lose all your money or bitcoin.
I suggest not to do that, even though the exchange is trusted, we also need to see how people last season really believe in FTX, but then they lose their money.
