Accepting investments with no reputation at all.

POSSIBLE INVESTORS PLEASE BE WARY OF THIS AND DEAL WITH EXTREME CAUTION.

Good luck with the site, it's nice but the design & layout sort of sucks. Cool concepts as well =]

Little do they also know that they have to constantly change their roll over/under option constantly in order to not be cheated...

Hey - I'm the dev here.

You are given a hash, and you can decide whether you want to guess above/below your number.

So you are in complete control over whether the number you are above to be given is a winning one or not.

EDIT: For example, if the number you are given is 20, then it could be a winning number if you say 'below 50' or 'below 30' but it would also be a losing number if you say 'above 21' or 'above 90'.

Even if we were malicious, and the 20 wasn't fully random, you as the player always have complete control (via above/below and choosing a number) whether the 20 (or whatever the number is) is a winner or a loser.

Seems like a fairly slack way to get around the issue. A lot of people who play low or high multiplier are never going to change their choice, since they want to play 5x not 1.2x etc.
390  Economy / Gambling / Re: 3-6dice.com|*NEW Version 2*|Provably Fair|Low 0.9% house edge|0.1 BTC promotion on: August 24, 2013, 03:25:41 PM
Sorry, but in no way is this provably fair. (In response to the PM you sent me)

You only give a hash. This doesn't change the fact you could simply give me 500 losing hashes in a row. You need an external variable (Such as a client seed) to make it provably fair.

The site is very nice though  Grin

Everyone kept accusing me of being a sockpuppet when I first came around here (I didn't realise the etiquette around here.. I think I came off too friendly xD). Then Doog changed his avatar to a sockpuppet as a joke. I followed suit then Mem & Vlees joined the crew  Grin

393  Economy / Gambling / Official Whale Watch on: August 24, 2013, 01:15:09 PM
This thread will be dedicated to finding & pointing out whales. Letting everyone know when they're betting!

It seems it has become fairly custom for whales to tip users if they win big on Just-Dice or Primedice through the in built chats. So this could prove a great way to make Bitcoin or to simply enjoy & watch as they bet.

I'm usually always idle on JD & PD chat whilst on the computer, so will be checking every now & again to see if people are betting big. If they are I will post here so others know! Feel free to help out if you spot one too  Grin

395  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have an ingenius gambling idea, but need a programer to create it. on: August 23, 2013, 07:08:55 AM
People being scared of "others running off with the idea" is the reason so many businesses fail. Don't worry about that, get all the extra advice you can get. At the end of the day it's who implements it the best, chances are the idea has already been thought of numerous times, just implemented terribly or not at all  Shocked

I wonder who would be doing this...

There's very little competition, sort of weird.

Just-Dice investors?

399  Economy / Gambling / Re: Taking bets that casinobit is a ponzi on: August 20, 2013, 11:41:51 AM
Can you prove I don't have a pink unicorn that shits rainbows in my garage, it's up to you to prove me wrong...

No, you claim you have it, so provide proof.

Proof that this is a dubious scheme have already been posted. Not just a claim.

So, post proof that you own a pink rainbow shitting unicorn.

You obviously missed his sarcasm... His point is that you cannot prove a negative; if he claims he has a pink unicorn in his garage, the burden of proof is on him to prove he has it. Likewise, if you claim ponzi, the burden of proof is on you.

This ^! Fucking this^11!!!

Is it really that hard, Zaih!!111?

The odd's are obviously completely even, as stated in OP.

You bet 1 BTC, if you win, you win 1 BTC. If you lose, you lose 1 BTC.

1:1 that is? Or is that 2:1? I don't understand bookies terminology (Well, I'm simply not familiar with it)

If I was sure of a outcome, I'll give you 100:1, fuck, 100000:1...

1:1 is not acceptable.

I'll accept 5:1, your 5 coins against mine.

No? I'm not 100% sure. If I was 100% sure I'd be willing to wager up to all my Bitcoins.

I'm looking for a gamble, and a fair gamble. I'm not 5x'ing you.

Up for a 1:1 bet that in one month they won't be a scammer, or however you state that. (And by 1:1 I mean my bitcoin your bitcoin, I too am not familiar with these odds)

Three months? That's sufficient time for a ponzi scheme to run its course.
