761  Economy / Gambling / Re: SuzukiDICE | Our payout is greater than that of SatoshiDICE. on: May 27, 2013, 04:45:10 AM
I think you should add some other cool statistics like SatoshiDICE has. Stuff along the lines of rare wins, leaderboard, stuff like that.

This more or less entices people to bet with you. At the moment your site is a little boring.

Oh and I managed to get past that issue before Tongue It seems to have fixed itself. Either that or my anti virus is simply trash and doesn't know what it's doing Wink
762  Economy / Gambling / Re: Doubling Bitcoins on: May 27, 2013, 04:41:32 AM
The difference is the "genericized branding". Do I just stick to Dabs Lotto forever? Or be The Bitcoin Lotto? ... maybe I can start with Dabs Lotto. Its run by me anyway. I'll worry later if some government wants to run after me, or if someone wants to buy it or whatever.

I think something more generic would be a better way to approach it. Dabs lotto is a little informal if you ask me. "The Bitcoin Lotto" is pretty slick, I guess. Maybe something a little more creative and enticing though.

Up to you though. Just anything but bitlotto.info plz Wink
763  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Bitcoin Philanthropist Award on: May 27, 2013, 04:40:14 AM
Great idea, the more people get into their heads that Bitcoin is not only for drugs & gambling & bubbles, the better. We need to start being more productive, and no way better to enforce this than through the means of incentive. Cheesy
764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally Indicators on: May 27, 2013, 04:38:02 AM
None of this rally stuff, just slow and steady folks.. Just slow and steady Cheesy

but yeh I agree, we're going to see an upward trend occurring from here onwards, it's fairly obvious.

Stock up fella's, stock up.
765  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alright, be totally honest: who saw this one coming? on: May 27, 2013, 04:37:00 AM
Many saw this coming, bitcoins are poised to be THE virtual currency and now that they have become less volatile they are certainly far more desirable.

Which is going to lead to volatility which will lead to a drop in price which will lead to less volatile which will lead to price increase which will lead to price drop.....

*head explodes*

I luv u Bitcoin
766  Economy / Gambling / Re: Doubling Bitcoins on: May 27, 2013, 04:35:15 AM
You could almost triple your money. Play my game instead. hehe.. (no one minds I'm going to hijack this thread since the OP was scamming anyway?)

There's 0.02 at this address
https://blockchain.info/address/1K7TmkJ5MT95nGbVgDxp1Vi8LT6ZBEYEcF

Which gives you a 33% chance of tripling your money if you put in 0.01 there.

Of course, the next ticket brings it down to 25%.

I think you should work on putting a website together Dab, it'll attract more people Smiley You've got a well thought out model but lacks aspects of legitimacy.

Sure, old lotto's work through forum's, but back then there were no sites like Peerbet and such. The gambling section was much less 'revolutionized'. You're more or less trying to implement black & white TV into the 21st century; It's simply not appealing.

A website isn't that hard to make. A lot of people would be willing to help you out if you had a decent budget and all.

Hi Zaih,

I agree. It would have to be self sustaining though. Any ideas? blocklotto.com is taken by some knitting or quilting group. Or I could always use whatever.info ... would branding be preferred or would a "generic" name be better? Would using bitlotto.info be considered ok or not? in deference to that "brand" that just got hit by a bus and got labelled a scammer.

I think I can get hosting already. www.turbocows.com offers hosting payable in bitcoin. wait, that's run by me. hahaha. ok. so I just need a domain. dabslotto?

....

thinking thinking. and better to discuss this in my thread. we have indeed hijacked this one already.

Don't even copy the last lotto in any way shape or form; go for something completely unique. Why would you want to name something after a scam website anyway? People will undoubtedly get confused between the two.
767  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dear Bear, So is this a slow bounce up, then a slow drop back to $100 or less on: May 27, 2013, 04:30:42 AM

768  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting on: May 27, 2013, 04:29:00 AM
Affiliate program will be out within a day or two, if anyone has a website and is interested please send me a PM.

I'd like to see it implemented though, you can already more or less do it, but it just costs more in TX fee's.

That's a good point, cashing out small amounts would just increase TX fee. One of the main benefits of PD is that you're able to do an entire session of bets with only one fee  Cheesy

Literally cannot wait for this. Affiliate programs.. Now that's something I think I could be good at Cheesy

Best of luck (Your gonna need it considering how much of a 'monopoly' SWC holds around here Tongue)

I would recommend posting this in the gambling section if you haven't already. You'd get a lot more traffic there I'd say Smiley.
770  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Makin Nice Profit on: May 27, 2013, 04:25:59 AM
Played this when you first released it. Very nicely designed game. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a bit of fun with a chance of winning Bitcoins. It also takes an element of skill, which makes it unique in some senses.

Hopefully we can see a larger player base building which will lead to higher pots and such; more fun Smiley
771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Bitcoin Casino On The Horizon! on: May 27, 2013, 04:23:10 AM
This is a load of rubbish. As a winning player on Bitzino, I can verify that their provably system is completely flawless and transparent.

Your unfairly accusing them with no real evidence. This thread should be locked.

I have a feeling you have stepped into the Bitcoin community in the complete wrong manner. This won't get you anywhere other than pissing people off. No one around here likes a sook, especially a sook with no evidence.

I recommend starting off on a new note. Even if you have the greatest site technology and design wise, your going to get no where with that attitude.

Best of luck none the less.

On my screen your PD ad is pushed off. This is because the other ad you have is taking up too much room on small monitors/screens.

Maybe take out some of the symbols in your other ad ^_^
774  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: May 27, 2013, 04:15:59 AM
Why everyone say that payouts are immediate? Everytime I play SD it takes something like 10 to 30 minutes to get my money.

All bets used to be paid out instantly.  Then it was discovered that it's possible to cheat by double-spending your losing bets.  So now only some bets are paid out instantly.  How the site decides which ones to pay out immediately and which to delay is a trade secret (I asked Erik and that's what he told me) but it appears that big bets (over 2 BTC, maybe?) get delayed, and small bets don't.  Maybe it's a little more complex than that.

He should make it so addresses that have bet their expected negative return can bet anything under that instantly.

Ie. If someone has wagered 1,000 Bitcoins. SD's expected profit from that is 18 BTC. That means any bet under 18 BTC will be instantly processed. This could effectively prevent double spenders as it wouldn't be worth their while to conduct this, since they'd only be breaking even in terms of EV. They'd also be instantly 'black listed' if a double spend was detected. Meaning that if they double spent, which would have to occur 1/2 times, they only have an expected profit of half their maximum instant wager, thus leaving them -EV overall.

I guess there would be issues whereby people could sell their addresses to double spenders if they get cleaned and such, but it'd be fairly easy to moderate I'd say.

You could have at least used a different layout to the last guy who pulled this one Smiley.

Good luck scamming xD
777  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Way to get round the 5 post limit... on: May 26, 2013, 10:16:47 PM
I think the current situation is great.

It makes it so your still able to view the rest of the forum, you simply can't post. This gives you time to read up on how Bitcoin works and all that important stuff. This in turn stops a tonne of dumb content being posted.

Maybe a slightly shorter time period?.. But I don't see why we need to be changing something that most certainly isn't broken.
778  Economy / Services / Re: Paying $50 in BTC for 300 word essay on: May 26, 2013, 10:14:42 PM
Scamming would entail waiting for the essay and not paying, or giving signs of such. the OP simply canceled within a reasonable time; no harm done.

He still wasted the guys time.. You don't do that lol. That's pretty sad.

Once they start, you've signed the contract and ya off. No cancelling lol
779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see a HUGE jump in Bitcoin price? on: May 26, 2013, 09:47:05 PM

780  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting on: May 26, 2013, 09:42:37 PM
I was wondering, would it ever be possible to do partial payouts? Currently you cashout everything, but it'd be nice if I could say I wanted to cash out 0.1, instead of all, in example.

This is not needed and i think Primedice would go against itself. Thats the gamble man - if you don't want to lose much, don't bet much - it doesn't really matter how much you got on your account until you go into "gambler insanity" and bet more and more and lose it.

Hmm. I don't think this will change the risk much more Tongue Maybe it could affect the houses reward though, since people will cash out more often, and I think that's bad haha.

I'd like to see it implemented though, you can already more or less do it, but it just costs more in TX fee's.
