I don't see how this is gambling  Grin

Kind of you none the less Tongue

where should i post this ?

Hmm. Newbies section maybe? Pretty much anything goes there. And that's where people will be more or less after small amount of Bitcoins. I feel as if most people here don't rly care about 0.0001 Bitcoins since they pay 0.0005 for transaction fee's to simply gamble Tongue
822  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of ongoing scams on: May 26, 2013, 10:16:28 AM
I have made $200+ USD in BTC from PrimeDice.com, I don't see anything wrong  Grin

EDIT: But then again, I made money from someones losses. It's not like Primedice is scam, someone loses while you win.

I think he's implying its a scam due to the fact it has decent popularity & claiming that everyone who bets is fake..

I think he's going insane. The sorta insane where people think everyone's against them, working for the government, spies etc. etc.

824  Economy / Services / Re: Free bitcoins (up to 0.15BTC/mo): Advertise these links in your sig! on: May 26, 2013, 09:49:38 AM
Despite all the advertising it seems like the chat room isn't taking off what so ever.

I think you have the wrong 'feel' to it. Maybe you should try an IRC server instead?
It's the size of a few medium IRC channels. Sure, it's not as successful as #bitcoin or #freenode or what, but I think it's taking off quite well.

Nah, I mean making your own IRC server. That could definitely take off.
How so?

Google it. I don't know the technicalities to doing so, but anyone can make an IRC server.

You could also integrate it into your current chat website in the same manner. People wouldn't even notice a change more or less.
825  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a site that averages a BTC price based on BTC trade volume? on: May 26, 2013, 09:30:20 AM
Weighted average is what I assume your after. Smiley

Edit: Nvm misread. Smoothie got ya ^
826  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: May 26, 2013, 09:26:53 AM
I posted this on another statistical analysis forum but hope more will see it here.

Been watching this thread for a couple weeks or so now, just joined so I had the ability to post. I have around 400 usd invested in Satoshi Dice, but I think the site needs to expand or it will eventually die out. The problem with betting bitcoins is many who mine them use them as investments or flat out sell them to those who use them as investments. Imo bitcoin has become too expensive of a commodity and SatoshiDice needs to branch out with other coins like LTC or FTC for example. With the lack of places to use these coins, those who mine them have a lot less worth for them and have less of a problem gambling them away. The key to a site like Satoshidice is the law of averages which basically states the more bets taken results in a percentage closer to the 1.9% profit. This is just my two cents, but I strongly believe if satoshidice either mined a base amount of altcoins or bought them, then allowed people to play with them, the coin prices would not only go up (instant advantage for satoshidice), but monthly we would see more profit. This is just my opinion, but feel free to respond to it. Regardless im a satoshi dice believer.

horrible idea

It isn't that bad of idea.. It's not as if SD has anything to lose doing it. It's simply expanding. And he's completely right on the idea that people have less value placed in something they don't have many options to spend with it. And there's no doubt at all that people are more likely to gamble away money they care about less.

No need to shoot him down like that?..

Buying seems more practical at the moment in my opinion.
828  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [TO THEYMOS AND MODS] BFL scammer tag? on: May 26, 2013, 09:17:02 AM
I think some sort of warning to people is just. I nearly fell into the trap of investing my money into them, but luckily I did a bit of research beforehand.

Whilst I can't say they're direct scammers, their business is definitely not fully transparent and this should undoubtedly be pointed out. You have my support despite the fact I don't see anything happening as a result of this topic.
829  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Want to buy 30 BTC and sell 1,000 LTC on: May 26, 2013, 09:12:16 AM
Not sure why you're even bothering to post with this next to it Tongue

Good luck scamming, I guess. I'm sure you could make more of a profit through running an honest business though.

833  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 3 BTC Raffle - Free Entry on: May 26, 2013, 09:00:25 AM
Shouldn't this be under the GAMBGLING section?

I think it's more or less aimed at Newbie's who want to make some free money. TF did one similar here, so I assume Stunna ain't in the wrong in that respect.
834  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 3 BTC Raffle - Free Entry on: May 26, 2013, 08:55:07 AM
Is the Twitter giveaway a different one from the signature one? I currently have my siggy ad space filled up, but I'd love to enter the Twitter one if it's allowed seperately.

Yes, you can enter that by posting your twitter username and following us, no advert required.

Site experiencing issue atm ?

recent bet seems frozen oO

Same on my end. Doubt it's affecting bets though, or else people would be swarming here complaining Tongue

And wow, poor fella.

837  Economy / Gambling / Re: SuzukiDICE | Our payout is greater than that of SatoshiDICE. on: May 26, 2013, 07:32:21 AM
Suppose that a customer bets 1.0 btc to the “less than 64,000” game then Suzukidice will pay1.005btc whereas the rate provided by Satoshidice is only 1.004btc. A normal user will go for Suzukidice because they are paying more than their competitor and all the other processes are same on both websites because Suzukidice is a clone of Satoshidice.

We heard you the first time.

When you say "clone", do you mean it uses the same back-end software?  Or are you just guessing what their "processes" are?

On your website I see this text:

Quote
Please bet with the single sending. Please do not imploy multi-sending in order to increase your odds of winning. Our system is set up on a single sending/single wallet transaction basis.

It sounds like your processes are quite different, because SatoshiDice happily handles any number of bets per transaction.  Also, I'd advise getting someone with good English to proof-read your text.  Some of it is quite opaque.  Or at least run it though a spell check.  Smiley

What's this meant to be telling me?

Quote
Some bet will need to be confirmed for fairness, and will take a fraction longer than the usual bets. You will see your results right away, whether you are a winner... or a loser.

So do I have to wait an average of 10 minutes for a confirmation sometimes, or will I see my result "right away"?  You can't have it both ways.  Or are you going to tell me I lost straight away, but wait for a confirmation before paying out?  If you do that, I can attempt to double-spend my losing bet.

Number Ranges    Suzukidice    Satoshidice
If you bet “Less than 60,000”    1.072x    1.071x
If you bet “Less than 56,000”    1.148x    1.147x
If you bet “Less than 52,000”    1.236x   1.235x

Those payout multipliers are almost identical to satoshidice.  Are you aware that sites like primedice.com and coinroll.com are offering a tiny 1% house edge?  I think you made an error here:

Quote
If you bet “Less than   6,000”    10.66 x   10.65x

SatoshiDice pays 10.6655x, which is more than you.

Also, your website doesn't seem to mention how much you send back in the event of a loss.

Assuming you return 0.5% on a loss, the same as SatoshiDice, here's a comparison of the house edge on your site with SDICE, CoinRoll and PrimeDice:

Quote
             Suzuki          Satoshi    CoinRoll   PrimeDice
64000    1.0050 1.843%   1.0044 1.902%    1%          1%
60000    1.0720 1.813%   1.0711 1.895%    1%          1%
56000    1.1480 1.831%   1.1472 1.899%    1%          1%
52000    1.2360 1.825%   1.2351 1.896%    1%          1%
48000    1.3390 1.794%   1.3376 1.897%    1%          1%
32768    1.9580 1.850%   1.9570 1.900%    1%          1%
32000    2.0050 1.843%   2.0038 1.902%    1%          1%
24000    2.6710 1.868%   2.6701 1.901%    1%          1%
16000    4.0040 1.868%   4.0027 1.899%    1%          1%
12000    5.3360 1.886%   5.3353 1.899%    1%          1%
 8000    8.0010 1.892%   8.0004 1.899%    1%          1%
 6000   10.6600 1.950%  10.6655 1.900%    1%          1%

Yeh, you should look at maybe implementing 0.9% house edge, maybe even lower. Even if you slightly undercut SD you'd still be well above the other competition. Even a 0.5% house edge could be worthwhile, it'd really attract new bettors (Including myself Tongue)

Went for my weekly Sunday gamble with my 10 BTC cap...

WAS GOING TO CASH OUT AT 30 BITCOINS Sad

I actually got to 29, that's the best pic I could get.

Decided to do a 4 BTC bet with 1.2x multiplier to basically secure the cashout, but of course my luck ran out at the worst moment Tongue

What followed was a combination of bad luck and me being too much of a gambling addict to cash out. Ended up going down to 5 Bitcoins & cashing it out. Will save the rest of my weekly cap for tonight if I'm feeling lucky

Edit: Yay at least I'm number 5 on leader board now despite always using dif payout addresses ea time i bet Tongue
840  Economy / Gambling / Re: SuzukiDICE | Our payout is greater than that of SatoshiDICE. on: May 26, 2013, 06:39:20 AM
What are you using an antivirus software? We will try it if we can get it.

We are using GData Internet Security. But we don't look the message.

I understand this is maybe a problem on my end, but when I try to go to your site I'm blocked by this messege

No other Bitcoin websites give me this, I do get it occasionally when browsing the net however (Maybe 3 or 4 times in the last few months)

You got any idea why?

I can also delete this post if you want, I don't want people to accidentally think I'm framing you as a scam site or something along those lines.

As the pic states: Malwarebytes. Smiley
