Oh well, he must be happy with his 0.04BTC, seriously, how is that even worth it?

It wasn't. But he didn't know going in that we'd be wise to his tricks and call him out on it right away. He had ambitions to be the next pirate  Grin

I think he made a little more than that. Vlees sent 0.3 Sad

Really? OUCH. That really sucks.

Nvm Vlees PM'ed me saying wasn't him Tongue

Looks like he only got you and that other dude.

The guy must have spent a decent few hours getting those alt accounts out of newbie section. All for a $9 scam. Hmm... Bitcoin you amaze me ^_^
802  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: May 26, 2013, 04:26:36 PM
I posted this on another statistical analysis forum but hope more will see it here.

Been watching this thread for a couple weeks or so now, just joined so I had the ability to post. I have around 400 usd invested in Satoshi Dice, but I think the site needs to expand or it will eventually die out. The problem with betting bitcoins is many who mine them use them as investments or flat out sell them to those who use them as investments. Imo bitcoin has become too expensive of a commodity and SatoshiDice needs to branch out with other coins like LTC or FTC for example. With the lack of places to use these coins, those who mine them have a lot less worth for them and have less of a problem gambling them away. The key to a site like Satoshidice is the law of averages which basically states the more bets taken results in a percentage closer to the 1.9% profit. This is just my two cents, but I strongly believe if satoshidice either mined a base amount of altcoins or bought them, then allowed people to play with them, the coin prices would not only go up (instant advantage for satoshidice), but monthly we would see more profit. This is just my opinion, but feel free to respond to it. Regardless im a satoshi dice believer.

horrible idea

It isn't that bad of idea.. It's not as if SD has anything to lose doing it. It's simply expanding. And he's completely right on the idea that people have less value placed in something they don't have many options to spend with it. And there's no doubt at all that people are more likely to gamble away money they care about less.

No need to shoot him down like that?..

his idea would require Satoshidice to have a large supply of worthless alt-coins in order to pay winners.  LTC, okay maybe.. but if they stockpile up on worthless POOPcoins, scamcoins, and rapemecoins then that means they would have to make an initial investment into the currency to do that.  They would be taking on massive risk. It just makes no fucking sense as a company to invest in a starting pile of Shrute Bucks just to bring in more people. That's like sticking your dick in a bear trap, just to see if it will know its not a bear..

Fair call, fair call.

There are some well established ones.
803  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting on: May 26, 2013, 04:25:31 PM
Sad I bought a $390 moneypak last night and never was able to get 3 bitcoins for it. Now with this dumb price rise I'll never get that. Congrats to the latest winner tho!

Btw @Zaih a truee gambling addict would've kept going until they at least got their investment back. If you are an addict its shocking you stocked after taking a loss of 50% haha.

I guess you could say I'm a controlled gambling addict Tongue Still doesn't change the fact I always get urges to play on every single casino that pops up in this forum Tongue
804  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the point of 5 worthless posts? on: May 26, 2013, 04:21:36 PM
It's pretty easy to also tell people who spammed their 5 posts to get our of newbie section. If you look @ someone's first 5 posts, if they're just there to get out of newbie section it makes it much more likely they're a scammer.
805  Economy / Gambling / Re: *FREE BTC* Coinroll - Dice rolling game | Instant bets | 1% House edge on: May 26, 2013, 04:17:26 PM
having played a few games of it, i just thought that the MAX button should not be nearer to 2x or the Roll

I mean, i could accidentally click MAX instead of 2x, then ROLL. and lost everything without knowing it  Shocked

Wowowo, that's so funny you post that. I did that mistake too when playing with my 0.02. It actually worked out for me though; I won! haha

I was actually worried that something like that might happen.

Maybe a confirmation that you're betting your entire balance would suffice?

Great idea

808  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of ongoing scams on: May 26, 2013, 04:05:18 PM
There are no flaws? Are you kidding? No-one is suffering financial loss? It's gambling!
So it's a scam because it's gambling? Rofl.

No but if it's gambling someone is suffering financial loss, it's fundamental.

I find it almost a coincidence that you list every single big casino (In terms of bets in the last week or so) as a scam, EXCEPT COINROLL.

It makes me feel like CoinRoll is up to something.

And if they are (Which seems very very likely), they aren't pulling it off well.
809  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinobit - LIVE ROULETTE - No Registration - FREE 0.01 BTC on: May 26, 2013, 04:02:47 PM
Just passed 150BTC, wohoo, gaining momentum  Wink

Grats mate!
810  Economy / Gambling / Re: Doubling Bitcoins on: May 26, 2013, 04:01:48 PM
Can basically confirm this is a scam, has shown activity, no answer or payback to real doublers. Congratualations, you got away with a GRAND SUPER TOTAL OF.... 0.04BTC. Yay?

When I saw you as last poster was scared you'd actually put money in Tongue

Yeah, I put 0.01BTC in to test it, I was expecting no return. But yeah, I haven't put anything in it =P.

Oh yeh, missed that post some how. At least wasn't nothing to big. Did he repay you?

If not, I think it's also safe to say that guy who got paid out 0.4 BTC was in on his scheme. lo

Make 30+ Posts within the month and you will be paid at the end of the duration

as you can see, I sold my sig.. he prepaid for the work and trusted us to not be dicks and actually post our 30 posts. And despite the very low wages, I'm going to make damn sure he gets his 30 posts.

But I'm not going to do this, as I have to wait a month to see if anyone gets paid at all. And what happens if btc went nuts and went up to 1000 this month.. would you still honor? I'm betting not.

To be fair, Stunna has honored a 200+ BTC cashout on his site (And even by looking at the last 18 cashouts on his site, there's about 50 BTC there, and that's just a few horus). I'm sure he has no intentions of running off with your 0.15 Bitcoins Tongue

Not gonna lie, I'm looking forward to this thread. Gambling section has been a little dull since that whale on PrimeDice winning 200 coins in first few hours.

Will be here every step of the way with my boring commentary Cheesy

Edit: I'll probably get accused again of being affiliated since I post too much Sad
815  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 3 BTC Raffle - Free Entry on: May 26, 2013, 03:28:20 PM
Really Stunna? Really?

I have had tons of respect for you and your site, however ripping off other people's business practices 1:1 does not get you in the good book.

I'm not defending anyone here and it is none of my business, but it's a common business practice, even before you did it. People rented their siggy's ad space, it happened before you did it too. It's really not that original, but it works great.
No, it's hardly the practice of renting ad space, but: same colors, signature ad style, same payout rates, same contest, etc. There's doing something similar and doing Samsung. For one, the style combined with the contest gives the impression that PrimeDice is something made by me, which is exactly how I discovered this.

It's like the Plus500 advertiser using my CoinChat style. That's copyright infringement btw.

To be fair, I think this whole Bitcoin forum just copies each other.

Coinroll completely copied all of PrimeDice's main attriributes that set it a part, and that's just one example.

Also the yellow back round & blue writing isn't exactly uncommon Tongue

I see where your coming from. Stunna should probably change it to be a little more unique. I was instantly reminded of you when I saw this not gonna lie ^_^
816  Economy / Gambling / Re: Doubling Bitcoins on: May 26, 2013, 03:24:18 PM
When I first found this forum a thread like this was the first I read.

Everyone starts out happy.. And then it goes ruthlessly downhill from there.

If you wanna gamble, it's probably best off gambling in an environment where you know your odd's. For all you know the RTP on this could be like 50% in the long run haha. I guess it has an element of skill to it though which makes it exciting.

Good luck people who wish to play.. I wouldn't recommend it at all though. Smiley
817  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting on: May 26, 2013, 03:18:02 PM
Someone else with a name starting with Z is going hard

Don't see other people with z's lol Smiley

Edit: And woah who's this new guy

Profit vs. total wagered... He's killing it. If you look through his bets it seems like he deposited a tiny amount, cause he just goes up and up.

Grats dude
818  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting on: May 26, 2013, 03:14:41 PM
Went for my weekly Sunday gamble with my 10 BTC cap...

WAS GOING TO CASH OUT AT 30 BITCOINS Sad

I actually got to 29, that's the best pic I could get.

Decided to do a 4 BTC bet with 1.2x multiplier to basically secure the cashout, but of course my luck ran out at the worst moment Tongue

What followed was a combination of bad luck and me being too much of a gambling addict to cash out. Ended up going down to 5 Bitcoins & cashing it out. Will save the rest of my weekly cap for tonight if I'm feeling lucky

Edit: Yay at least I'm number 5 on leader board now despite always using dif payout addresses ea time i bet Tongue

Now Stunna def can sell me some BTC Wink sorry Zaih for your loss. Seems like since switching to that new SHA version (I know nothing of coding or RNGs) people are actually losing and winning like they're suppose to (house not losing a ton every day for example).

Btw Zaih, your account when looking at your stats, still has .0005 BTC left in it, maybeee you can win back your 5 BTC with it Smiley

LOSS?! He has had 24 BTC ^^ 3.000 Dollar gratz!

It's still a profit, but he got down to 5 BTC, so he had a bit of a loss there. He was referring to that I think.

Hehe, I do. I'll give that a shot in a sec. If I somehow make my 29 BTC back from it you can have some Smiley

Very realistic scenario Smiley

Charging people to get out of the newbie section? Not sure if I agree with this at all.

Any only a chance at that. It's not as if every single reference posted on that white list gets instantly approved.

It's not even as if the newbie section is that bad, you simply can't reply to topics outside of here, it's not as if you can't read all the good stuff.
