42  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Scam or not ? on: November 05, 2017, 11:51:22 AM
I don't believe it's a scam but I wouldnt say the faucet is worth the time

Yes, that's not a totaly scam, actually i use that fauceting site when i was a Newbie i earn bitcoin but i decided to stop to use that because i wasting my time for the small amount. It's not worth to wait to earn a lot of bitcoin.

Guys i need your reviews about freebitco.in . I've heard its a scam but most of my friends said its worth  i am confused. Anybody here

who ever tried this faucets

Don't worry to try that kind of faucet site it's legit. But it's wasting your time for a small amount.

And i guess it is a good review from a previous user trying to earn his own bitcoin as a newbie. Because i too observed that most ads about free bitcoin is about captchas. For me that would be misleading and kind of degrades btc if some new bitcoiners would want to earn bitcoin. They would be caught up in the notion that it is easy but it pays low and wont try other services in bitcoin.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick question about Ebit on: November 05, 2017, 11:44:04 AM
Anyone out here traded or has added EBit https://ethplorer.io/address/0xdb45faeca61c70e271bffeaf66162fa68a1c4def in there etherwallet? I cant seem to find its decimal. Can anyone help me?.

thank you

this is strange because no decimals on eBIT token information, I think it's a bug
try contacting this token developer as only those who can help you

EBIT is available in the dropdown top left in EtherDelta: https://etherdelta.com/#EBIT-ETH

However if, like me, you got some in the recent airdrop then I think you'll find it's worth so little it's not worth paying the gas fees to sell it.
I keep signing up for all of these airdrops, and honestly, they're worth so little I wonder why I even waste time signing up for them. I guess it's because I missed out on eBTC when it went up like 10x... Nearly all airdrops now aren't even free money, it actually costs more to sell because of gas...  Sad

yes i feel the same thing, nowadays most of the airdrop just make shittoken and i am confused about their purpose

Well actually i had that ebit for a long time and it is just now that i noticed i had such token. I just want to at least use it as a gas but i cant find their decimal to at least add it the token lists. Anyways it seems its already hard to contact developers seeing this tokens is pretty much left out after it was released. Thanks for the comments anyways.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: November 05, 2017, 03:35:44 AM
yap i think it is somewhat the center of ethereum based tokens. You just have to add some custom of the token you have been given and its ok. For me, it is easy to get around especially if you really need a storage for your tokens.

46  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Amazon Integrate Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2017, 12:45:51 PM
If amazon is going to accept bitcoin for payments, I am pretty sure that they are going to do it via bitpay, which means that they don't directly accept bitcoins, but indirectly.

They won't keep any bitcoins or have any bitcoin wallet, they are going to instantly convert their bitcoins into fiat right after they receive it to avoid price manipulations which may cause the company to lose money.

I think that it may provide more traffic to bitcoin but it is not a big deal , it will be a big deal if amazon would start keeping the bitcoins they take from customers.

It seems to me that it is too difficult to Amazon decided it. No, I don't believe it. Perhaps it is more our dream than the desire Amazon. Initiative always comes from below. It seems to me that the pioneers in this industry are small online stores. Then after analyzing the situation, the big players will take the decision for themselves.

I think it is not that hard to create a wallet. Because for me, their would be a lot of conversion hussle and what if the item is only 3 dollars, you have to pay for fee and they would have to convert it again in own currency. I would agree that they should accept btc but i myself wont exactly use it always if im gonna buy on amazon.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are not holding Bitcoin and ONLY holding Bitcoin Cash? on: November 04, 2017, 02:19:46 AM
Hi Filmmmakerr. Certainly not me, and I doubt any people would do that for the simple reason that you don't want to put all your eggs in the same basket.
+ it is obvious Bitcoin remains more attractive when we look at the price history, especially last 12 months.

That being said, I was reading some articles about Bitcoin Cash and how powerful it is when it comes to make transactions, technically speaking Bitcoin Cash is superior to Bitcoin. The latter remains limited (for now) when it comes to block size. But what is true today is not true tomorrow.

In the end, if technically Bitcoin cash is superior to Bitcoin, I am still not sure the big investors are willing to trade their assets, as the hype for Bitcoin cash is still quite weak.

Agreed and understood. So much hype about what bitcoin is the real bitcoin is, I personally think bitcoin core is gonna stand tall to all the Fudd, but question is how will segwit perform when its released?

comparing to the bcc and btg, i think bcc still has a good miners. It has been stable from now and it is even higher that etheruem. Its true that btc is the biggest and segwit as usual could try to ease up transaction.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret when it comes to Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 03:44:33 AM
My biggest regret to Bitcoin is when I didn't listen to my old friend back in 2014 when the value is really low. Since I wasn't that much into internet that year and bitcoin is really new to my ears. I thought it was a "shady" pyramiding style marketing.  Until this year when bitcoin and Crypto itself broke the internet news due to high value. So yeah, now I am here to learn something, invested in Bitcoin and currently learning about ICO for possible investments

I think we are all the same when it comes to that having no faith in the early years. Because even still now, i dont just regret in btc but also other altcoins. Because i was so focused on btc i disregarded those other altcoin when they were just an ICO or token. Seeing the price now, they can become a good profit.

50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: November 01, 2017, 12:26:44 PM
is there a chance for spurs to win this 2018? I felt they could've been the champions last season cause most of their key players are injured

It's too early to say but at least the injury of kawhi has still a chance to play at least in january. I too observed that a lot of star players are getting injured in the most wierd ways. Even some of them have the biggest contract in the nba. But at least i could see now that their are many playoff contenders that were not present during the last playoff. Their are also many young players who are standing amongst their team members.
51  Economy / Marketplace / Re: enough bitcoins to start small project ? on: November 01, 2017, 12:18:06 PM
You can start a small projects with any amount, all you have to do is create an idea that gives you a trademark. Because all clients or investors are looking fresh and newly idea that excel in the crypto currency community. If you do that you don't need to have a capital for the projects, because the sponsors are willing to provide you all your needs for your project.
You cannot say any amount. It all depends on the kind of project and the budget it needs to start no matter how small the project may seem. One thing is confirmed, starting little is good and it can be built from there but whoever is going into any business will still have to be realistic to know what he actually needs to kick the ball rolling for that little start without flopping and building it from there.

I believe any small amount also will be enough when we are having a new innovative business idea as more people will be ready to contribute when the idea is good so they will help a business to get built.
I think for me just 3 to 4 bitcoin are enough to start a sound regular business in my country because the price of one bitcoin in my country is about 460000 in my local currency and 3 or 4 are enough to start with these bitcoin values. But to start any business I will prefer to hold my bitcoins in my wallet and Walt for some more time and wit for the price to go up more and I earn more money.
I have same facts and figures in my country. Even if you have one bitcoin here, you can easily start a normal level business. But yes 3-4 bitcoins are so much and you can establish a business at high level. Bitcoin is so tremendously increasing every time and a time will come, when there will be bitcoins everywhere. Hope for that time and hope all the businesses are just turn into bitcoin.
It depends upon the different societies and the atmosphere. He reason is that some countries have greater value of their local currency and the price of bitcoin is not too high. But in third world countries like mine only one bitcoin is too much.

I can do many things with one bitcoin. So I think that if I have just 5 to 10 bitcoin I can start something more valuable and profitable projects and can spend my life comfortably and easily.

Agreed plus bitcoin is not so much popular in the 3rd world countries, since they still have yet to attain economic progress the same as those 1st and 2nd world countries.Since most of the issues in 3rd world countries are still within there state rather than having outside opportunities. It is not even a good strategy to mine in our place seeing the internet speed is the worst and electricity bill is too much.
52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: long term invest in bitcoin on: November 01, 2017, 11:13:59 AM
Hello everyone
I have around 2400$ and I have the idea to invest them by buying bitcoin. I plane for a long term investment (few months to year). Best time to buy BTC and best strategy (I heard  about a hard fork will happen soon) ? Other ideas to invest this amount of money for the indicated period of time ?
Thank you

You need to prepare before the upcoming fork will take place, to buy when there is a dip in the price, and keep calm, as you said its for a long term investment. But note: you need to buy with the lowest price you can, which is the first rule of trading.

the fork was already finished and for me, it was not so much of a fuss. It turned to be only a dump and it did not even take so long to be in the market. Time to time the price is increasing but it is not always. After the peak price wait for a couple of hours then you buy btc if the price goes down. But if it is not going down, then just buy. Assuming that you really want long term then it is ok to buy now than later.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you base your investment in a coin on? on: November 01, 2017, 10:41:13 AM
When investing in a coin what kinds of things go into that investment. I have seen people invest from all of the above but wanted to know what most people try and do when putting their money in a coin.
Most people are trying to do a research on the technical value and the roadmap, A lot of people don't care about the value of the coin itself, the important thing about the development of the project itself that brings the more value to the token if the development goes smoothly. Just like some major token that was starting from nothing or zero and this them they are all already become a hero.
So, you can take your own conclusion about that.

Investing is nonsense if you will not have profit. What i do is to see how much is in its marketcap and how much it grew in the past couple of days an also look in there announcement to see what is going on. Because it is not easy to be an altcoin where you are not even recognized in the market. But off course if the coin you are investing is mineable, then the increase of miners is the most helpful thing for that altcoin to grow.

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: November 01, 2017, 10:22:09 AM
Altcoins can be profitable, when you choose the right one and at the right time. No one can expect to gain profit from the very beginning. The future of altcoins usually can be better seen after the PRE-ICO phase.

Their are different styles to acquire some of these altcoins. their are altcoins that could be mined, so better find something to be in the pool. It is not as risky as btc pool mining but with the right tech from altcoin developers, you can acquire your own altcoin. the more miners of that altcoin, the higher its value will increase. you could participate in their bounty campaigns before they are released. 56  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: It is good to invest money to a btc doubler mining sites??? on: November 01, 2017, 09:54:38 AM
it is good to invest money to a btc doubler miner sites?? Undecided Undecided

No it's not good. That doubler bitcoin sites is same like a ponzi and it's really dangerous to invest your bitcoin into it, they can easily scam you. Just don't invest on it, most of them always ended with scam. It's better to invest your coins into another site.

Better participate in bounties or airdrops if you have problems on high techs and electricity. If you really want to be a miner, you should expect expensive techs in the market. Cloud mining as of today isnt just as easy as loging in and joining mining pools. Sure their are cloud mining sites that allow such pool but also they invested high amount just to be included in there pool.
57  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is it possible to use bitcoin like offline currency? on: November 01, 2017, 03:33:47 AM
I think it is not possible, you would have to create some kind of "LAN" cryptocurrency, but it totally doesnt make sense for me, why would you use some cryptocurrency that is only available to use between few computers connected with one, same internet?

In runs in the internet world so i dont see any possibilities being it useful in an offline transactions. Offline wallets maybe but you really cant move around the money without out internet. Because you have to have internet in order to mine those things. Even these infrastructures have to make way in the web to mine the blocks and they really cant do it in offline basis.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Yes or No? Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters? on: November 01, 2017, 03:11:26 AM
It is not, a big big no, it is not definitely unfair, it is just that those who really adopts bitcoin were blessed because they can have bitcoin so much and buy, that is why the value goes high and continue to grow more, they were benefited more than us now because if we invest now in btc we have to make thousands of dollars to accumulate 1btc only.

Or at least they had faith in bitcoin even the though in the earlier times, hardly their are any patronizers back then. But now it seems their more and more adoptaters than before. It is hard to imagine that now even countries are giving high hopes for bitcoin and even stating to take advantage on its services for its citizen. Honestly i am one of those people who regretted not buying btc.

60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the bitcoin price determined? on: November 01, 2017, 02:34:54 AM
Beside of supply and demand factor, there are more things which can detemine bitcoin price, such as big news, hardfork, and etc. The most big news in recent month is JP Morgan Boss said, bitcoin is a fraud and can be used by drug dealers or murder" https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/sep/13/bitcoin-fraud-jp-morgan-cryptocurrency-drug-dealers

When that news release, bitcoin price go down and very slowly to recover.

But most factor would be the increase of blocks being mined which means, the more miners the more the price increases. Add it with some countries trying to innovate btc in there country instead if blocking its citizens to use bitcoin in underground ways. JP morgan is now an old news because ever since the price went back to its prestige, most bad commenters are not being heard off.
