There were several large large purchases early on. I'm pretty sure we're going to see a big sell off as the big players who even at the current declining prices have made a profit sell out.
I'm going to cancel my buy orders.
Actually, just checked I've got one at 43... I think that's still safe
I've got one set at $80 I think it's a 50/50 so I'm ditching it.
My guess is around 50-60.. Bitcoin has definitely grown because of all the attention lately. I used to peg its value around $25.. I think it's easily worth 60 now, but the panic will probably cause it to drop below it's value for a while.

I really think the Gox lag is to blame, along with the sudden excitement from last night about hitting $200 causing slight above trend overpricing
I'm going to set a buy order just above $200. There's no way it's breaking back below that right.
The dip is % terms is small

$10 is nothing... It's less than 5% at these prices.
There's still a ton of buy support up past 200. Once the lag clears, think we'll see another breakout.

I think I might create an account on another exchange. You're going to lose business Gox. Just cause you can't get your freaking act together. With the amount of money your trading now, you should be upgrading your systems. Otherwise some smart VC's going to fund another exchange and build it properly from the ground up. Seriously... even if Gox is under a DDOS. Why the F# should that affect a bitcoin withdrawal.
The transaction seemed to execute from the UI.
The actual business part of the system should be isolated from the front end. They should have multiple outgoing IP addresses to prevent people compromising the money part of their network.
It's just ridiculous. Bad design. They obviously grew too quick, it's just not built too last.
Man I'm mad, makes me want to start my own exchange, lol.

Lol... I'm using bitcoin for what it's for! To exchange for goods and services! I'm soooo angry right now. Next time I'll transfer it to my own wallet, at least then it'd be safe and I don't have to worry about potentially spending the money twice. Dammit this is the 2nd time I've been fucked over by gox... First time I managed to sell all my coins below market (well guess at technically) by accident.... Dammit, did you ever hear of a fucking confirmation screen?? GRRRRRR |

I tried to withdraw some bitcoins from Mt Gox. It went green and said withdrawing, but nothing happened!! It's still showing up in my account, and not on the blockchain... It's been about 20mins. I'm sending the money to somebody else as a payment.. Should I send it again, or will it get executed at some point? WHAT THE HELL NOT HAPPY AT ALL MT GOX!!!!!!  I clicked on the support agent... But nothings happening. What a load of shit! Don't know what to do. |

Sounds like some type of financial advice. Where's your license? Haha that's what google wanted for me to advertise on adsense. No financial advice here... Just speculation! I was stupid, I sold most of my coins at $27. If I hadn't I'd stop working for the rest of the year and spend all my time writing bitcoin apps. Ah well.. here's hoping for another double. I've put my money on it now. |
