you can even "crossfire" an integrated card with a dedicated for some tasks, but its not called crossfire.
although i am not sure about 5k series cards, but i do know and can back up that there is greater compatibility with 6k series than 5k, although i don't know for sure,

are the coins in cold storage insured? what if the drive fails, what if the bank raids your box.
id be willing to bet my coins are safer taped to my wall unencrypted than on a flash drive in a bank.

i am still revising stuff, but you can still post
I was recently thinking and explaining about an idea i had on making and storing small amounts of energy through simple mechanics and principals. Overall it will end up being good engineering and an example of crowd sourced labor. we will have a working publication of everything you need to make said device, and instructions on how to use the stuff. or so i hope
To put it simply, we each have skills and talents in many different areas. what if we each donated an hour or so to make a bigger thing. in this case a device to make some electricity from sunlight. we would discuss how it would function, what to make it of and such. then people with the skill and ability would draft out sketches, then someone else would make rough models. then someone else would do documentation. in short, if enough people donated a little time and skill to one thing, we would have something that benefits everyone. anyone with the ability to build this thing could, without fear of patents and silly stuff that prevents the creation of great things, even if it is as little as making electricity to run a toaster, its a start.
the goal is to make a device that is licensed to not be able to be patented, or we patent it and allow it to be used without nonsense.
some rough idea of this is the use of mirrors to reflect light on a central point that gets hot. this should be able to work with 1-10 mirrors that are 1m square each(this can change i think). to change the heat into some other energy i was thinking of using a Stirling engine. then using the Stirling engine to make electricity from the rotational movement.
for storing energy, i would opt for a flywheel. i pick this because it is very simple and can easily be scaled. in addition, its green and will not loose its charge capacity over time, and can be made out of almost anything circular(even an old tire i guess, but that would not work very well).
here is a list that i think is logical to run in.
1. discuss what to make 2. draft out roughly what it will look like 3. make more detailed decisions 4. make a "final" or working publication
in the current stage of development, which has nothing i will post some ideas and examples of stuff i find useful. along with other stuff others have come up with.
mirrors to aim sunlight on a central point hydrogen and oxygen --> combustion energy storage flywheel for energy storage Stirling engine to change heat to rotational movement

i vote in favor of simply banning people that make spam threads like these.

google plus + ?
although if you are looking for something that does not have centralization you can not control, your out of luck afaik.

bittorrent?
DHT?
you can literally share bittorrent with just a URI.

if it is possible, could you do a 64 bit windows build? just to see how much faster it is.

how about we write out BC1.2345
that way everyone can understand it, and not have to learn new and useless stuff. why make up a whole bunch of stuff, that people joining bitcoin then have to learn.
I stand to make things less complicated and more standardized, and using bitcents and other stuff is not it. after all we dont use cash anymore, we dont say a dollar and 53 cents often, we simply say a dollar 53. sometimes we don't even say units, like 16 29, so why this.

you might want to have a script that runs that closes out any and all bitcoin.exe instances, so you avoid any possible wallet corruption.
didnt know that could happen.. well the web interface instructs you to close bitcoin in really big letters. I suppose though.. you;d have to close namecoin, ixcoin, i0coin and ifuturecoin as well. i have accidentally left bitcoin open before, and my wallet was fine, but if you package it into an exe, people will use it and the chance of lost wallets will be much higher for many reasons.

How do I get an invite for this site?
what.cd is difficult to get into by average means, but if you can pass the test you get 1 free invite. fail 3 times and you get banned. but in terms of all private trackers, they are easy to get into.

this makes me think, maby we should start over.
later, some real issues could come along if an early adopter decided or simply gets compromised and the market gets flooded.
however this should not be done now, we should wait a few more months.
