I'd probably take one but I'm locked in with this ad for another 13 days.

OK, thanks! Good to know someone wants one! Also, you can put it on your third line, and the rest above it. Anyway, see you in 13 days!
642  Bitcoin / Hardware / I am Getting a miner! Which one... on: June 13, 2013, 09:57:54 PM
Ok, it is final. I am getting a miner.  Grin

But now, I need to know which one I should get.  Tongue

I am getting the BFL Jalapeno or a USB Miner.

Here are the pros and cons of each:

BFL:

Pros:
  • 5Gh/s
  • Only $275
  • Same price as USB miner, more value

Cons:

  • Arrives LOTS later
  • Uses more power
  • Not as space Efficient(compared to the USB
  • Doesn't have share notification light

USB:

Pros:

  • Space Efficient
  • LED light
  • Arrives day after I order it

Cons:

  • Much less value
  • You need to buy 50 unless you are in a group buy
  • Fragile
Thanks for the advice!

Anyone that says 'You will not make a profit' is going to get removed.

Edit main post.

He meant 1.8MH/s scrypt, you idiot. A CPU can do 1.8MH/s on sha256d.

Yes, I know. I want him to edit the main post so people do not get confused, and go searching for posts.

I'll try out.  I am mature (If I do say so myself.) I may not be that active when chatting, but I will keep an eye out. Besides, It is already a pinned tab on my browser. I can be on for at LEAST a hour on week days.

For the record: I am NOT asking, I am simply stating that I may be interested.  Wink

Send me a PM. (If I don't get one I may PM you)

Also, How many mods are you going to hire?
