2641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana rise again? on: November 20, 2022, 10:35:46 AM
If it is chance in its broadest sense, yes it has a tendency to recover simply because it has a community of users already. And what happened recently just pulled its market price down, and that is really unexpected. My friends are traders for years and they expected a pump before the incident. Other traders as well predicted the opposite of what happened. Solana is here in this industry for years and previous pumps, it was often carried away so yes, it may still rise once bull run enter this market. The problem is assurance that it would. But if it is just chances, higher chance that it would. Solana chain is being used on different utilities, in the first place. So for those who are holding, keep going and wait if you can endure the situation of this moment.
2642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Education on: November 20, 2022, 10:12:15 AM
Crypto education system great opportunity for our. Some country government allow bitcoin education but some country not allow bitcoin.I hope future bitcoin education subject to added. This is great opportunity Next Generation.I support this opportunity. Bitcoin education This is great subject for students.Bitcoin learn Than great earn for future.Next world bitcoin currency used all people. This is only one world wide currency.Bitcoin King of crypto currency.Next generation so lucky because Bitcoin education system added .
Bitcoin has advantages for people to be aware of but putting it in an education system is a bit off on my perspective. Following are indeed its advantage over fiat:
This blockchain simply puts smaller transaction fees than with Fiat. It is most of the time more convenient to fiat online payments because their servers are often down. Another advantage of this technology is anonymity on transactions which is its plus for those who want to avoid taxes with their purchases but this could be the factor which could slow down its adaptation across countries. There are still flaws in this technology but conflicts would be 'fixed' or changed in the future as technology in general, advances. On top of this is being an asset to generate profit.

But for it to be a profession, it's a no even if there are already  existing institution which offered such course to the students. At this moment there's no consistency to this technology even as a subject, so I think it won't be worthy for now. Think of other profitable assets not being a main thing on school premises. Using it as an example in aligned courses but as subtopic only, I think. It is not relevant to all courses ofcourse.
2643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: November 19, 2022, 03:59:45 PM
In every market downfall, investors are either excited, frustrated, or anxious. Some people would try to pull out their investment  from exchanges and wallets, while some cannot stand still and wait for the market price to go up again. We've seen such instances before and the market always manage to climb back. It is just that we are still facing problems which contributed to the market crash months ago.Given that there are sudden positive changes with the market price but I doubt that this is already the start of bullish season. And this is why there are investors who are looking forward with the market price increase because profit will be assured on their end.
2644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shell, enters Bitcoin mining and sponsors Bitcoin conferences on: November 19, 2022, 03:33:55 PM
It is a joy for all Bitcoin lovers to see the oil giant Shell enter the field of mining even if indirectly, of course Shell is one of the world's oldest companies in the field of oil and has a long experience in the energy field, so they surely have a lot of solutions to help both in cooling Or finding alternative solutions for the energy consumed in mining, this news will have a significant positive impact on mining in the long run, and thus on Bitcoin prices.
However, given the recent unfortunate incidents and the very bad situation that the crypto market is going through, it is unlikely that we will see a noticeable impact at the present time, but there will certainly be a good effect in the long run.
If it is shell alone which made a huge decision, then that would be hardly felt. But considering tendencies, if more companies such as with Shell, will do the same thing even not today, it will be causing long term development for this industry. Trust is the only thing this industry is asking for sure. If it will be trusted by many countries as a valid currency to be used anytime you would want to, then same thing could also happen with non-crypto users, then progressive development will more likely be ended early, in comparison with. We've seen such ocurrances before and the effect is still present at this moment.
2645  Other / Off-topic / Re: Life lessons from Bill gates and how it could make you a successful entrepreneur on: November 19, 2022, 03:11:46 PM
What, those are some motivational lines created from random dudes over internet.

Ironically, how Bill Gates became successful is somehow morally not correct cause he made billions from Windows but it is not invented by himself, he just learn the art of getting the innovative ideas of others.

Think about future and take risk.
But that's business, right? You don't need to create something if you want to be a businessman. An entrepreneur uses all of the resources available and it happened that Billgates (if this information is true) had that money to buy windows and he,himself developed it to be a better version and to be sold to more people. That would be even greater if windows did not start from him because there's more into who he was before he had that company of him. This somehow related to privilege wherein people condemn those who has it and totally disregarding how that certain individual made use of that advantage.
2646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: November 19, 2022, 02:40:17 PM
Ryan Garcia a really a different player in Boxing industry. The way I saw his trainings which are really payong off his career and is evident to his record and performance in the 'square'. I won't underestimate Tank Davis as a contender and for being a champ for three divisions or weight classes, it is just that Ryan is more of 'something' on my perspective.
I think its better for OP to lock this thread, we have the latest Tank fight discussion, and it's again a different Garcia after the fight we can open the thread again to continue to discuss the Ryan Garcia - Tank Davis fight, The Hector Luis Garcia obviously is a cherry-picked fight but the guy is undefeated and can hold against tough opponents/

Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023
There are fights which were sooner discussed than this and that I think is not a problem. We cannot blame people if they are more looking forward into this one. I am as well more excited than this match up because it is somewhat a battle between talents of this generation in the field of Boxing (just my perspective, I don't wanna ruin others').
2647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price? on: November 19, 2022, 02:05:35 PM
At the present, for sure people would prefer it volatile for investment and profit purposes. Also, it is not yet widely accepted as a mode of payment across countries, so it is not surprising that most of us prefer to use it as an asset. But in the future, once mass adaptation take place, ofcourse it would be better to be in a stable market value to avoid having problems (hesitating to use it because the price is still low and such). Also, have you guys seen a currency wherein its vale changes from time to time? Ofcourse that would be a different one since there will be no equality with transactions.
I want Bitcoin to be stable so it can be used in all kinds of transactions as seamlessly as a fiat currency, but only if the price is equal to $1 per satoshi.
That means 1 BTC = $100,000,000. If not reached, then volatile is better.
I'd rather say this is not in a technical way, but simply because $100 million equals the total digits in bitcoin; $100,000,000 = BTC 1.00000000.
Will its market value be that high if the demand won't be that high? (assuming it it will be low because people would be more accessible to it even if its supply is limited; on a realistic point of view people would prefer using alternative currencies if it would be expensive using Bitcoin).
2648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WOW, WHY AM I SO HAPPY 😍 on: November 19, 2022, 01:22:39 PM
The bull run is here. ALTCOINS are going to blow up soon.. Happy to see some of my alts I bought on FAMEEX are just pumping. Matic and optimism just making me smile this morning
Ups and downs can be seen on a daily basis. Not because your 'biased' coin showed a higher rate of increase than usual, means same thing will happen to others. Bullish trend is general not only to specific tokens. A true bull run reflects overall market behavior, so I guess it is still too early to conclude that a better season is coming. If we would be realistic, it'll be for months, that the market will remain uneasy simply because the factors which pushed the prices down are still present or are still being a problem. For now, hold if you can endure market peice downfalls or the unstability itself. If not, choose to take a pause to save yourself from worries.
2649  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: November 19, 2022, 12:47:44 PM
When someone is comfortable working in a company, most of them will be loyal and accept even with a small salary, I have worked in a company and mostly filled with employees who have been working for more than 20 years, of course it is very difficult to find or move to work if I have worked too long at one place.
Indeed evident. An employee could seek for a high salary but would encounter toxic environments. For people who became employees for years, they settle for things which are more important to them. Some would choose salary over environment but we cannot blame those who wants a peaceful life as an employee. We do all have different circumstances. If you are needing money then you're morr likely to last in a company which pays high but if you're not having that much of problem, you'd be good with a healthy working environment. It depends on the individual because that would be your preference.
2650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I hardly have up to $100 again in all my fait bank accounts since I joined BTT on: November 19, 2022, 11:48:39 AM
BTT has opened my eyes, the fiat rulership had milked me for too long. I was blind before, but now I can clearly see. Thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto!

Like play, I realized I hardly have $100 (conversion) as my total fiat balance in all my bank accounts, over 99.99% of my money is now in Bitcoin. I was slightly using Bitcoin before joining BTT, but this forum has made me a proudly addicted user of Bitcoin (payment, trading and investments). This is a good addition because I am making more money with them unlike the fiat in banks that will just be useless for me and useful for the bank.

It is so annoying when I look back at the wire transfer transactions I had performed in the past, to the point of charging me as high as $71 for a single transfer if correspondent banks are involved.

A big shame on the centralized fiat because of this extortion!
This is a good manifestation but putting uour money on investment, means you are also putting it at risk (since you've mentioned that almost all of your savings were converted to Bitcoin). But indeed there's a chance for profit but consider market behavior as well. Also, quite concerned with using it as a mode of payment especially at this moment wherein market is down for months. I prefer holding or using it as an asset to make profit in the future once bullish trend enter. I am also planning and hoping that one day it will be used as one of the options to pay a service but definitely, it is still too soon for such thing given that adaptation is still on process.
2651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cristiano Ronaldo NFTs(CR7) be successful after its launch on Binance ? on: November 19, 2022, 11:04:40 AM
I doubt that it would. Even if Ronaldo has the popularity, it won't be enough. We've seen projects before promoted by celebrities and athletes but those projects still did not work as planned simply because not all investors especially in this industry can be easily carried away by popularity of the project. Many investors are putting much work on doing research for projects of interest to gauge if it would be worthy of investing their money with. Most of the time, projects under celebrities' name falls down upon being released in the market especially if its utility is not sustainable.  Unless the team of this project  will make changes with its concept concerning improvements.
2652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Survive A Nuclear War? on: November 19, 2022, 10:17:14 AM
What do you think about it? I read this article in the Market Times https://markettimes.co.uk/cryptocurrencies/would-bitcoin-survive-a-nuclear-war/ and in my opinion I don't see a future 'cause to have access to the bitcoin you need internet

If a world war starts and one of those old farts remembers to use nukes, it will not be only Bitcoin that will be disappearing. It will be the end of the world as we know it. Bitcoin would be the least of your concerns in the that scenario...
it is clear that in a war situation there will be many obstacles that will be ahead, it is certain that everyone will no longer think about bitcoin and everything, because everyone will be focused on the war. not yet with the possibility that the internet network also cannot run normally and there will be no transactions or anything to be able to make bitcoin transactions.
obviously any war will affect bitcoin especially if it comes to using nuclear which will obviously destroy world civilization and where there are bitcoins in it, everything will disappear from the face of the earth.
To put it simple, people would mind surving and living more than anything else. During a war, monetary systems or money itself will be useless because a total havoc is more likely to occur. This includes Bitcoin and other virtual currency. It will remain on your wallet but it would more likely have no value because there won't be a demand on it. So it will just be something of an amount which would be useless during those times, which I hope won't happen in the future. The market and economy will recover but expect that after a war, there would be years before majority of destroyed establishments be restored.
2653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ONE MAJOR LESSON LEARNT SO FAR THIS WEEK FROM THE CRYPTO MARKET 😥 on: November 18, 2022, 05:14:12 PM
To @OP and everyone.

Taking profit is very common these days because if you don't do that, that's the actual lesson you'll learn. That's what I've learn long time ago and there were instances that when you take profits, the market rises more.

And at that time, the regret begins to tick on your mind that you should haven't taken the profit yet. But, you just did the right thing and you'll never know when the dump will start.
Simply know your satisfaction as a player. Taking profit won't be easy if you're on that drive of playing. Whether it id greed or not, it will be hard to stop in an instant. Your satisfaction as a gambler and investor would determine when to stop. Taking profit is a problem to many gamblers because they are wanting for more. Who's not in need of money by the way?Since the market prices of not only Bitcoin but to most of the cryptocurrencies are having a hard time, selling won't be not advisable for those who can,'t afford standing the situation without the idealisation of profit. Eversince I got here' if you more than 3mos,can  emember it correly,
2654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gambling Companies: First Massive Bitcoin Adopters on: November 18, 2022, 04:41:59 PM
Were they really surprised though? Casinos were one of the earliest adopters of internet, going online and doing all kinds of digital marketing and developing digital payments even from the late 1990s -- a major reason was restrictive regulations that pushed them away from physical opportunities.

Early adopters of new tech tend to be "fringe industries" so no surprise.

You are right! But we all understand how long it will take for Bitcoin to reach this price. And how much each jerk of the graph down affects your condition.
People would be still surprised. Even at this point, maddive adaptation of this technology is still not clear. It is just that most of the gambling dites nowadays are crypto-based. I'm not sure if it is whether lower transaction fees or anonymity of the players which pushed gambling houses to go online and to hide in this blockchain. First ones to accept this industry as mode of investments are more likely its investors. But if it is companies or businesses, indeed gambling industry is one of the first ones. But yhat does not guarantee madsive adaptation. There's more to that especially being used as one of the main mode of payment. At the present, it is still blurry and there will be more years to come before this thing occu for this industry.
2655  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you consider appearance in business and employment? on: November 18, 2022, 04:03:41 PM
I imagine this would be a requirement of the job itself. Appearance is an essential element in everything related to human communication. If you work in the field of sports, it is better to be an athlete in order to be more convincing to the group.
If we take into account the relative specificity of the concept of beauty, then the appropriate appearance must be present in every place. However, bearing in mind that the construction worker will have a decent appearance with clothes that confirm his profession better than a uniform that imparts a mysterious symbolism.
There are many academic investigations that study the influence of appearance in business. Almost all of them emphasize its importance.
If ethical issues are concerned, ofcourse. It is a sense of professionalism. To some, appearance has something to do with performance but it would really emphasize work ethics or even boost employee's sense of workload and task related concerns. But I disagree with discrimination concerning employee's uniform. At the same time, indeed it would boost one's confidence to perform his/her job. If it is employment which is concerned, it would be a plus ofcourse to recruitment team because putting effort with your attire means devotion with one's work and goal, so it would really play a huge role with employee's character.
2656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good days to bitcoin will be back soon. on: November 18, 2022, 03:16:36 PM
Definitely. From the past years we've seen this industry fell but it got up multiple times. Bitcoin as the mother coin has the biggest tendency to got up from this bear market. But since the market is still struggling and the factors affecting the market price is still present, we might not see the recovery before this year end. Maybe next year but eitherways, know your goal as an investor. If you cannot afford the market behavior, choose to withdraw for now because no one knows when will bullish trend exactly occur in this industry, so expect red marks on your assets. Surely it will but you'll be needing huge amount of patience before that day come.
2657  Economy / Speculation / Re: The real bottom is yet to come of BTC on: November 18, 2022, 02:46:46 PM
Its happening since day one mate, wherein it keeps searching for a strong bottom level until now because of some weak hands that keep selling despite of the situation, So expect there will be more bottom price in the future especially if there's no positive news about bitcoin because even it already showed a small progress in the past few days surely there's still a possibility that it will make a correction again in the future if there's no good news that will emerge in the space.
Is it searching for it or factors just affect its market value. If Bitcoin is seeking for that bottom then why is there a seasonal bullish trend? Likewise with other assets, there are times for high demands and low as well depending on several factors. We',ve seen this for years and also; everytime the market is struggling, same set of people panic and allowing negative thoughts to be dominant. Investment is investment; risk will always be involved. If you can't endure temporary losses then sell and endure permanent loss. You are free to do so. You're not even wrong from doing so but make sure you won't regret it afterwards.
2658  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk want to buy bitcointalk on: November 18, 2022, 01:57:26 PM
No, he won't want to buy Bitcointalk, never.

Because bitcointalk is not a fancy platform to build connections and shill your posts to walls, notifications of other users who are in or not in your connection/ friend/ follower list.

It is different than social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter when your notifications will be spammed with many statuses and tweets from others.

Bitcointalk is not a place for Elon Musk to play with his jokes that he always loves to do.
There's even a higher tendency for him to pay someone to build his own community platform because he has the money and popularity to do so, than to settle in this forum. Also, I think elon musk is targeting non-crypto users more because the things he would state will easily drive them crazy of following his 'calls' unlikely of crypto-inclined people who'd criticize some of his decisions on which is which, in terms of investment. I doubt as well that the owner of this forum would sell this easily, especially if he/she is earning enough from multiple projects being released weekly or more frequent. Also, if we would somehow 'read' his mind, he'd go directly for things which will generate bigger profit or power perhaps, to save him time.
2659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: November 18, 2022, 09:32:18 AM
You could win thru free spins but never expect big profit and aldo, would be hard to make a 'living' out of your slightest chance to win. Also, in some casinos, you have to deposit first in order to withdraw your winnings. There are also instances wherein the reward  in free spins are different from the huge rewards in the actual game. Ofcourse, the house won't allow players who haven't paid a single cent to win huge amount. Those free spins will just be promotions in order to attract players in a certain gambling platform. I'd be more glad of huge bonuses in special ocassions than free spins because that would be more enjoyed by players who invested in a platform.
2660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not your key not your coins is real, not just quoted. (FTX Issue) on: November 18, 2022, 05:01:57 AM
It is not the first some users lost their coins because they didn't have access to their own keys. Do you really think all those that used or stored their coin on FTX never head about "not your key, not your coins"? Do you really think that they were not aware that they don't own the coins? Do you really think that they didn't know something like this could happen? They knew all of it. But they chose to ignore. They thought that it could never happen to an exchange like FTX, but they were wrong. But guess what, people will still keep on holding their coins in exchanges or non custodial wallets and act like nothing will happen to them. Right now, yes people are withdrawing coins from exchanges, but give it a week or two, people will go back to holding coin in centralized exchanges.
This incident has taught us the hard way to avoid storing coins in inaccessible places. Exchanges are like banks, mostly centralized, and they have access to your account.
Do not leave your money on exchanges in case you lose them. Keep your crypto assets safe in a wallet that only you can access.

Same thing goes with banks, they have access to your account as well, this is why they can see if an irregular amount have entered to your account. The point here is that, storing crypto assets in an exchanger is not advisable simply because there are tendencies that it will be accessed by other people simply because it involves a device which can do something about your holdings once there are people who knows your private keys. You cannot do anything about it because we are all anonymous in this industry. Your money your rules but that is also your responsibility. Storing for a bit like 1 week is just fine but to put 100% of your assets and store it for months or years won't be.
