2901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This makes sense or not? on: September 11, 2022, 03:32:57 PM
It will be a double edged sword, I guess. What if the moment you sold your bag or assets, is also the point wherein the price started to increase? The problem here is lack of assurance. Indeed, the idea is good bat it is lacking assurance. I think it will be better to let alone your bags, then just prepare money to buy or reinvest to a coin of your choice, a matter of adding more amount to your investment. The reason why is because it would be safer simply because you still have your money with you; if ever the prices don't go up, no lesses would be decared, and also you'd still fulfill your idea of buying more during the downfall of the prices, right mate?
2902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing for a real Assets on: September 11, 2022, 03:03:55 PM
While Going through the book Rich dad, poor dad my mind refrain back to this; INVESTING FOR A REAL ASSET

And it says a true luxury is a reward for investing in and developing a real asset.having read that I was contemplating and as well need clarification for this.If BTC is an asset.because it was said that an asset is money in your pockets,so how does BTC relate to being a real asset, and what is a real asset and how do you invest for a real Assets.

Bitcoin is as much an asset as any other. Assets don’t have to be physical to be regarded as an asset.
What's your basis then? Bitcoin is a good asset but the fact that its price won't guarantee continuous increase, makes it risky, AS WELL. All assets has its own risk but compared to other investments or assets which are generally accepted to the world market, of course there are advantages and disadvantages no matter how we look at it. It is okay to be optimistic in this industry but that is different with being too unrealistic. I've been on this industry for years, and I'd say things are still hard to predict and unassured. Just my two cents, by the way.
2903  Economy / Economics / Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"? on: September 08, 2022, 03:16:42 PM
Depends on your perspective or extent of looking into what does 'success' means. Many people would say Fame and Money defines success, but to some people, it simply means you are better than your previous self or you are at the phase of your life wherein you can do, buy, and enjoy things you did not experience before. Also there are people who views it as a state of happiness; less worried, and peacefully living. There are many ways to view such word, it just depends on what kind of people you are or what you've been through. At the end of the day we all have different sotries to tell but inspite of having different paths toward success, we are all, for sure, aiming for that thing.
2904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: September 08, 2022, 02:31:37 PM
In the future, countries where you can travel with Bitcoin without a visa will grow, that's my dream Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Man that would be the dream! If this happens by the time BC gets to $500k, ill buy a few properties and sit on the beach all day.
Hope it would be as easy at it sounds. But if this thing would happen, be sure that you have an amount parallel with your desire.

but i would rather be trading though than keeping it on a cold wallet.

Trading is not easy, you may have a good knowledge of the market but those who do not understand this crypto currency will loss a lot when trading for the first time.
Unfortunately, knowledge won't be enough in trading; it would be an advantage but it won't guarantee profit always. Even skilled traders suffer from losses, simply becaude the market is unstable in nature. TA's won't be a help whenever the market is going "crazy". Strategies would also help but for sure, luck will play a huge role in order to be successful in traing or even with other investments.
2905  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: September 06, 2022, 03:52:51 PM
The problem is that not many people know how to get money to follow them instead of following where the money goes. They are busy making money without knowing how to make it work. But rich people know how and don't go into detail about it. This is where people are required to think creatively and be active in finding ways that can work for them because each person has their own way of making money. There are many problems that they have to face and it depends on how that person can solve them so they can start making money.
This is not entirely the fault of people, one thing that I have noticed long time ago is that despite the fact that people are going to spend most of their time working hard to obtain money so they can pay their way of living this is not something that you learn at school and it's something that you have to learn on your own, and as we know a great deal of people unless they are forced to are not going to take some time every day to learn how to manage their finances.
It's what we call 'drive'. Well unlike with the old era wherein hunting is the main source of living, nowadays is money. That's how important these pieces of paper are, without it you'd be life would be inconvenient and uneasy. But no matter how we look at it, it is not really money which motivates individual, it is living which pushes all of us to do so and money happened to be the medium for that goal. One could work hard or smart; the aim is to earn. As time passes by, various ways of generating money, is being introduced to us, and one good example is this industry.
2906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me choose on: September 06, 2022, 02:40:05 PM
Skale network is a good one, but Satoshi Island is also promising. If I were you, I'd probably diversify my assets into these two or research for a better project, which is not impossible because there are many out there. Also, do not choose a project because of the market situation. Would be also best if you will seek for a project which visions long run development. A matter of a less risky decision than to just ride the hype because the demand it will create for the project will just be temporary and probably a loophole of a collapse might occur to it, once factors take place , since your basis is market behavior.
2907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some say Bitcoin is dead but Bitcoin is not dead on: September 06, 2022, 02:10:40 PM

I only say Bitcoin is dead when its price turns to ZERO. I mean when we can never see Bitcoin in the market.

Everyone has the right to speak anything but everyone has the right not to believe. I am one who has not believed if Bitcoin will go to Zero or worthless. This is because I have gone through several years of betting and Bitcoin can always work better than anything else.
In addition crypto and digital currencies are the future. Nowadays all are turning to digital. Even the state has studied, and they have created their own digital currency. Sometimes people who say bad are just a strategy to make a profit. So I will remain calm and keep trying to improve my BTC.
You have a point and I think by now people (except the newbie which may be ignorance and also panic sell)should have understood that anyone can say falsely about Bitcoin to get the attention of the general public or to create some FUD in the market.

If we look at it from this angle when a project owner that sees BTC as a hindrance tries every possible means to take down and fail with the inclusion of the government and they find it to be inevitable. Technically, to that person, the project is dead because it's inevitable like demise which is the end of all humans.
Another side of this story is the negative impact of FUD. Some would say "take advantage of those who are panic selling" but in reality, those who are waiting for the dip would also suffer simply because the market price will continuously fall as more people fall into the 'story', sort of a "domino effect". Bitcoin by all means in this industry, is a 'strong' coin which is expected, always, to be back to its feet no matter how low its price get. But since all tokens including BTC, depends on market demand, it is still prone of huge problems regarding false news about this industry.
2908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are people doing except holding Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2022, 01:51:04 PM
Might some of these holders use their extra money to do trading while waiting for the perfect time to sell? Some might just do other business and leave the market for a while in order to have some peace of mind. And in this way, we prevent having stressful life while looking at the market chart declines. So, instead of checking the market daily, why not make ourselves busy with other stuff and enjoyed life?

For sure there are several ways to earn profit from different kind of investments possible. Not all people are into this "crypto craze" kind of investment, especially to those older generations. They would be more into stock market( not to generalize). Also in this industry, there are many ways to diversify your assets such as thru gambling (not really advisable), trading (as you've mentioned), staking, and the likes. The only goal is to earn profit. I even have a friend who functions as an 'exchanger' thru p2p to earn, I think he earns from his 'fees' or additional charges he puts in transactions. Small or huge movement; that won't matter as long as you are happy with what you are doing while earning ofcourse.
2909  Economy / Economics / Re: Flood causing economics crises on: September 05, 2022, 01:16:35 PM
Isn't it obvious though? There's a negative economic effect due to local businesses not being able to operate properly, and probably employees not being able to work (obviously due to the floods). A flood in itself wouldn't cause an economic crisis unless it's a greatly prolonged flood though(probably months?).
Not to mention the damages or losses caused by flood itself especially to those places wherein some cases are really devastating. Given that there are obvious negative effects, it is not a hidden idea that it is not solely flood which is affecting a country's economy. It could also be how leaders of those countries manages or handles such situation. So If I would be asked, governance is the bottomline and is the biggest factor that would reflect to one economy, no matter what natural/man-made disaster comes.
2910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having losses? Or people are not going the right way on: August 29, 2022, 11:58:48 PM
Sad to see these types of news. I mean these types of news are only seen after this bear market and nothing can be done to be honest.
People those who don’t have prior knowledge in cryptos, just invest and seeing this bear market effect they panic and sell. They don’t know that the bear market is just manipulating their minds.
Nevertheless same would have been happened to the people that the OP is referring here.
You can easily conclude that this is not the fault of market, rather people are not going the right way.
People are not going the right way, and it is the lack of understanding about the market. Majority of the people, even those in the market in the long term think of making money at the shortest. But they never make use of the opportunity.

Whenever the market turns down and reaches the bottom they don't buy. By that time they fear and stay out of the market. When it bounces everyone will be on the crowd to buy. Here they miss the profit. This is all about the people's mind and not about the market making mistakes.
I agree. People are sometimes just too optimistic. They are implying to themselves that whenever the price is low, investing would be the best option, but it is really not, 'coz analysis should be done first before entering something. If you'll just invest everytime on downfall, there's this tendency that your  losses will just be bigger. There is always a time to enter or exit from your investments. Not to be too optimistic and too pessimistic would be a better mindset. You just have to think more of your next move than to just follow the trend.
2911  Economy / Economics / Re: Savings during inflation on: August 29, 2022, 10:59:13 PM
In savings, it would be really a disadvantage. They say "the value of money does not change", which is false. The price of everything moves, and the only stagnant thing is fiat. Like this scenario:

You put 10,000 usd in a piggybank, then for some reason you forgot that you did such. After 3 years you remembered. LOL
The things your 10k can buy before, is less worthy than the things that you can buy at the present because the market value of  devices, foods, and everything being sold, continuously increases due to inflation.

This is also why some people prefer investing their money than to just save it because it would be wiser.

Unless you chose to convert your savings into assets.
2912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it right time to invest in Cardano? on: August 28, 2022, 11:32:33 PM
Has potential but if it is for long term investments, I guess coins with bigger names would be a better choice simply because they're more 'secured' in a way that its market price would have a higher chance to increase in the future such as with Bitcoin and Ethereum. Just my two cents. 'coz if the token you are investing your money with has only potential and not having stable demand, I guess it would be a bigger gamble. If it is for short term, trying other coins would generate bigger profit.
2913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mine a Bitcoin or buy a bitcoin? on: August 27, 2022, 11:33:07 PM
Mining is indeed better if and only if, you have the resources or money to be specific. Building a mining rig won't be easy for those who are not privileged, 'coz in some countries GPUs are expensive. Another thing is electricity, which is also expensive to some countries especially for third world countries which makes it not that advisable especially if you are just aiming to build a small farm, because more likely earning would be difficult. Last thing is knowledge ofcourse, mining isn't that easy, you also need to invest time into it. So definitely, buying would be more convenient to majority of individuals in this industry.
2914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good one for invest on: August 26, 2022, 11:34:44 PM
I guess it won't be. There are other better projects out there to invest yoir money with. This one's quite having problems with being too unrealistic. Sustainability would be surely become an issue afterwards if this won't be a fraud. All I know is that if anything is suspiscious, try looking the other way around. We are talking about money here, never risk too far just because something will give you easy profit 'coz there's no such thing. But if you're that tough, then go. Just be sure not to regret things once the unfortunate happen.
2915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency acceptance Everywhere on: August 25, 2022, 02:52:35 PM
Question I guess, if people would be still willing to transact using crypto, especially at this point wherein the market is still down. What's likely to happen is that users, especially investors, won't prefer using theur assets to buy things. But the idea or thought is there -- adaptation. Given how unstable the situation is, I think it will be still a long run before fiat and crypto coexist on a daily basis. It is just amazing how crypto related ideas are being raised for awareness to those who are not knowledgeable into it yet.
2916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto bounty hunter stolen crypto on: August 25, 2022, 01:55:07 PM
This would be definitely difficult. Hiring someone to retrieve your funds is indeed a good idea but be sure to know the necessities or limit yourself from frustrations. We are talking about money, therefore some people could take advantage of your problem by asking for some details then take benefit from what's unfortunate on your end. If I were you, I will be asking for help in person and also do a background check to whom you are talking to just to avoid making the problem worse.
2917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years ago mined 50 Bitcoin just moved on: August 24, 2022, 03:01:51 PM
To think how that user managed to hold for this long, is something. But that depends if it is intended or if he just lost it and found recently. It is just hard to imagine how an investor would be able to overcome temptations of the past wherein prices have reached several ATHs.Reminds me of the recent article wherein an individual lost his storage containing infos or basically, containing huge crypto money. Just imagining the regret he is feeling, makes me want to treasure the small amount I am having from my investments in this industry.

2918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Luna Updates on: August 23, 2022, 02:20:11 PM
Not sure though about the latest in Luna, but from what I heard, yeah, the South Korean government are really doing their best to bring justice to all the victims on this project. I think Do Kwon has no escaped because the prosecutors have been digging about the past of the people involved in this project and they found that this might not the first time that this individuals have been involved in this kind of fraud. I just hope though that the victims can at least be compensated specially those who lost a lot of money in this project.
This is really sad. One of those projects who gave millions to investors but also damaged a lot people especially those who are new in this industry who were carried by the waves of 'hype'. No matter how many times we say "learn from this", there are always people who are getting caught off guard. No one expected? I'm sure there are people who managed to foresee what happened. Still sorry for those who lost ton of money. I've also read an article wherein a person took his life out of his frustrations with this project, which makes 'it' fresh at this moment.
2919  Economy / Economics / Re: Global famine on: August 23, 2022, 01:18:34 PM
Really observable especially to third world countries. Cost of living indeed increased; from the price of oil up to the things we are using on our daily lives. Simply shows how world economy is being affected by the changes. If I would be asked for the reason, it is i guess over population. The minerals or raw materials we are harvesting from the nature or even to agricultural sectors are becoming limited and lacking to the number of consumers which yields to vast increase with the prices. What's sad is that, to some countries, inspite of shortage with daily needs, governments are still not giving enough attention to this problem. They are more focused with tourist spots and technology leaving behind the necessities.
2920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it profitable to invest in ApeCoin(APE)?? on: August 23, 2022, 12:15:38 PM
It can and couldn't be profitable. In contrast right? 'coz no crypto would guarantee you profit. Investing would be enough to determine whether it would be a good one or not. Ofcourse, creating your analysis would be a factor but to determine is another thing. It is like testing your hypothesis whether something is beneficial or not to someone. Just like any crypto, APE has a tendency to be have a huge name but do you think it will be assured that it would? Concept is good but on my end, I guess it just ressembles the known nft projects. This is just a general perspective, I, myself did not take time to study this coin so yeah, I think we can say that industry is just a matter choosing your own poison.
