2681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: November 16, 2022, 08:42:47 AM

It's safe to say that Al Haymon and Errol Spence will remain silent until the issue cools down and for me, there's no need for them to talk because our questions are already answered by Crawford's statement. No need to know Errol's or Al's side because I don't think that Crawford is lying, it's clear that he's the victim and wasted his time going back and forth with the hopes that they will give him that fight.

Quote
Crawford recognized that he can't make the fight with Bob, and so he decided not to sign the contract. And yet why the fight didn't still happen?

That's what we thought but it seems that there's another stumbling block because the fight became impossible to happen. If you ask me why, my answer would be that Spence and Al is afraid of what the current Crawford can do. Spence's chances is not that big against the prime Crawford, that's why they can't risk to materialize the fight as of now.

And that is why there are a lot of speculations as to why the fight didn't happen.

But then again, as fans we know that their should be no more issues, but it seems that Al Haymon is a control freak and wanted to have the majority of the money in the table.

Who knows, if Spence is afraid, if that is the case then his legacy will be tainted because of fight not happening.

That's the thing that we cannot verify because both of them seems to be covering for each other and Spence cannot talk without Al, but it is clear that either one of them is afraid of Crawford and who knows what he could do, they just cannot stand the risk to scathe Errol Spence's career.

Spence can run away from Crawford for now, but he cannot do that forever and if Crawford will leave the industry without having the fight, Spence will end up facing the #1 contender Jaron Ennis and that's riskier than the old Crawford.
But what if Spence is seeking for that 'danger'? Spence got the skills. Being young could give him a drive or a reason to go whatever comes to his mind especially if it is for the betterment of his career. It is hard to also tell whether the management of Spence is afraid of Crawford given that Spence has his own advantages. Probably there's more to that such as engaging to a more 'noisy' match up unless there's a personal goals on either Spence and Crawford's end. We have seen 'beef' before and these two didn't had it. It is just us, the fans, who are demanding for this one and if this thing won't happen, I guess the only thing we could do is to wait for their fate to go head to head, one day.
2682  Economy / Gambling / Re: around 1.6 billion people worldwide gamble, What about a poker gamefi?? on: November 16, 2022, 07:53:17 AM
regarding skills and playing with very good people and with very good skills, sometimes it is a double-edged sword, because you can be in front of many experts, but if you are not a good observer they will make their plays so deep that if you do not know analyze well at the right time, because you won't know exactly what was done, you won't learn anything and worse because time and money have been wasted, and I am in favor of the fact that a poker player must be very good, but for this he must be very clear The theory, for the experience you can grab whenever, the important thing is to keep your money and not spend more than you have.
But practice makes perfect. You can always call for a rematch until you figured out their techniques. It can only be money and time consuming but you shouldn't count this is your goal is to become a better player. Once you are at it, you can always earn more money later on.

I think it's also possible to friend your opponents and when you are already close to each other, that is the time to ask them about their strategies. Tell them that you want to learn from them. Many players will agree about this and they don't think someone will beat them after this. It will still matter at execution. If you learn all the techniques but fail to execute it properly then you will still fail.

Well, I prefer that option of becoming friends with the opponent and also sharing knowledge, although in that case if you receive advice directly from them, the game itself will have a great impact, apart from one of the things that can be applied. is that when we play and learn more from others and if a very good player reveals some secrets to us, we can take that knowledge and make a combination with what we know and thus we could devise a very good strategy, which is not frowned upon by anyone, Of course there are people who just take the advice and don't bother to improve that skill with what they have learned.

There are many ways to learn, in the case of poker anything is always good as long as the level of the game increases in a particular way, it is what is always sought after.

As you guys have mentioned, you have to be careful especially if you would be befriending a stranger and in relation to this industry. I know at the end of the day, it is still a game but people are born different. Some players holds grudge against someone if the outcome did not go as they want it to be. Exaggeration? Possible but it is also potent especially if we are talking about hugr money. Strategy sharing would only work if you have picked the right person to share with, if not; he/she might fool you with such and use it against you next time you play. This is just to remind that there are just people who are hard to go along with. This industry involves money, therefore risk in every action should be limited.
2683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want sell my house for bitcoin on: November 15, 2022, 10:47:21 PM
Do you think it's good that I sold the house then I buy bitcoin with all the money?
because in my own calculations, my house value didn't increase in date year by year. the value is still stagnan, it's different when compare it with bitcoin, I will got 3 house when I sold my house then buy bitcoin with that money in 2018 and sold it again on ATH november 2021.

(I have 2 house, which I want sell it is abandoned house)
Turning your investment into another more profitable investment is indeed a great idea but consider risks before engaging into it. If your decision is finalized, then that's good. Be aware that the market price of Bitcoin is volatile and we have no assurance of its direction;such as when will its market price go up again in this bearish market trend. Ofcourse investing an amount while the market prices are still low, would be best but the question is; would you be able to hold it until the market value rises up? There are unexpected instances and circumstances. If you think you'd end up pulling your investment 'on the road' then think again whether to invest or not in this industry.
2684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I mine? on: November 15, 2022, 09:42:12 PM
I'm thinking of putting my GPUs to work once again but still dunno what to mine. I already dropped by What to mine and checked that Ravencoin could be a could pick. But I'm still thinking I could go with Eth classic.

Considering that there is no more ethereum to mine what are you guys now mining, or what do you guys think it would be the best to hoard and then wait for a good price upon the next bull market?
Bitcoin I guess would be the best coin to mine. I haven't done mining because electricty in my country is expensive and I'm a bit worried that things won't work as planned. But my friend tried mining Bitcoin, he's quite earning decent but hesitated to tell me exactly how much is the net profit from doing so. But given that it worked for him. Also GPU had an increase in its market price the time I planned to start which again, forced me to postpone my plan. So I'm suggesting Bitcoin still. In the first place it has the highest chance to get a price increase once the bullish trend start. Major coins would be the best picks in my own opinion. But as other users have mention raven coin is indeed  good coin to mine, will be vouching for it as well.

2685  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: November 15, 2022, 04:00:07 PM
I doubt. Investors has their own preferences and I also doubt they did not take an eye in this technology. For sure they are aware of the profit that can be earned from investing to Bitcoin and other ceyptos but if they prefer a less risky investment, for sure they'd still choose stockmarket over this blockchain. There's even a higher tendency for a stock market investor to also invest in crypto while maintaining his/her investments with stock market but it would be hard to day they are losing interest with stock. What's more possible is that they are just diversifying their assets which is why some stockmarket investors also has crypto holdings.

Stock market is always timely unlike with Bitcoin which has a profitable period (like consistent or continuous profitable movement) which is why we cannot blame those people who are more into stock and other type of investments. They just measure risks involved before engaging into something. Playing it safe I guess.
2686  Economy / Speculation / Re: The most stupid dip in Bitcoin's history - and why we can be happy now on: November 15, 2022, 03:29:12 PM
If Binance bought FTX, it would have become an enormous, almost monopoly-like, dominant exchange player. Binance would have become the new MtGox. And we all know what's wrong with that. They become single points of failure, and if they fail, then the ecosystem suffers much worse than a day the price tanked 15%.
The owners of Binance have the power to build more than FTX, why don't they do this instead of having to buy FTX, there is literally a much bigger issue yet to be uncovered, so Binance was forced to acquire and sell all of the FTT tokens. Or it could also be that Binance thinks that FTX is not running according to the target they set, so this cancellation is considered the right step for Binance.

It will be difficult for the exchange to restore trust, if the problems at hand are widespread and for this reason FTX will have a hard time restoring reputation.
That's what happens if you are a bigger company. It would be more efficient to buy an existing business perhaps, 'coz it already has a name and target market population than to start a new one from the scratch right? Restoring the trust from FTX alone would be really difficult but if it would be balanced by another credible exchanger, then things would be somewhat easier. Anything under a good 'name' would be influenced or shared with one's charisma of being one with the bigger business or trade name, as an example. Things might have changed for FTX if Binance had it first, but it could also be worse to both Binance and FTX if the issue came first. Therefore stopping the plan, would be a better preventive measure for Binance and this industry as well.
2687  Economy / Speculation / Re: what is the bottom of this bear market BTC on: November 15, 2022, 02:56:02 PM
Hard to tell;some are saying Bitcoin would reach $13k and some believes that it would be $16k which is the floor price. In fact we're not sure yet of how long will the market price struggle at the current barrier. There are no clear signs still on its market value even if this year is about to end (market prices are expected to increase on the 4th quarter of 2022). If the beatish trend will continue until next year, I think the market value of cryptos not only bitcoin are subject for lower market prices, so let us hope things would start to recover.

Looks like majority voted over 15000 for this poll but I don't think so. People always underestimate how bears can work in crypto markets and how strong they can get. In Current psychology, market players see Bitcoin price somewhere between 15k-25k. Although it can be easily changed if there was huge dump, triggering under 15k orders. This is unlikely to happen now - but we can't say it will never happen.
With the present price of bitcoin dumped into $16k today, I think it will never stay $15k above in the next possible days. Bitcoin has higher chances to drop more if another issue will affect bitcoin again and as long the bear market stays, we should be more open for a lot of possibilities that bitcoin price will stay in the range of $12k-$15k in this bear season.
$15k is a more realistic price prediction especially at this moment. Cryptoindustry are quite having a noide these days, unfortunately, negative news were also included in that noise. Once good things come one after another, there would be a clearer chance for recovery.
2688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Bear take control long-term? on: November 15, 2022, 02:29:45 PM
Possible. Especially if no changes will be happening regarding economic problems we are currently facing. If it is possibility in in broadest sense. Hopefully things would change next year. Seems like this year is hopeless for a bullish trend now that we are only more than a month away before this year end.
How will the crypto market perform post-market turmoil? Will the bear take control long-term?

Definitely market will recover so from the bottom, the market will slowly recover and transition to bullish market.  Since you had stated post-market turmoil, we can assume that the sentiment of market is starting to get bullish. The bear market is always longer than bull market, we have seen the current bear market extend to almost one year and may go further than that.  The one hope of bullish market is on 2024 which is more than a year from now, so possibly we still have a bear market next year.
2024 is far beyond the present. Think of how many crypto investments would die by waiting. If the increase would happen next year, that would be better ofcourse because halving MIGHT prolong the run, if ever. And if not, same thing would happen just like in year 2018 wherein market was stagnat for almost two years, and that was a horrifying experience 'coz many people have lost fauth in this industry that time.

2689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!! on: November 15, 2022, 02:09:31 PM

So dear colleagues, What are your expectations? other than price increase  Cool
*Do you expect to see widespread adoption and acceptance?
*More involvement from big companies?
*More popular?
*Increase number of users?
*Any other.......
I didn't expect anything other than a price increase.
He will become more popular when the ratio hits a new high. The expectations you mentioned are all things that will happen after Bitcoin hits a new high.
If the price of Bitcoin is still going downhill after the halving, then these expectations are unlikely to exist.
There are chances for price increase but also tendencies for the price increase to be temporary like in a short period of time alone. We have seen it in Ethereum 2.0 wherein the bullish run didn't last that long. The market is just unpredictable, unlike of previous Bitcoin halving wherein a bull run actually increase not only on major coins but almost all tokens in the market way back 2017 if I remeber it correclt (feel free to correct me).
Given the circumstances everyone is facing right now (even if it is an indirect problem to this industry) I guess it would be a factor for the next halving IF nothing would change. Even at the moment prices are having a hard time to pump, therefore it can still take effect next year. Hopefully it won't.
2690  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is now the difference with Ponzi platforms with cryptocurrency exchanges on: November 15, 2022, 01:32:16 PM
Ponzi Platforms would always be a downside but cryptocurrency exchanges won't. Not because one exchanger have failed, means every exchangers would be the same. It is always wrong to generalize. Exchangers will be needed for years as long as cryptocurrencies are not yet widely accepted as a mode of payment; you just have to choose one trusted exchanger to ease your worries.
To put your savings in your own wallet and secure it with well-known means of protection, including not to share your private keys and passwords with anyone. Any damage that occurs to it will be your responsibility alone, and we cannot blame anyone.
As for decentralized platforms, they may be more secure than centralized platforms, but this does not mean that they are the best way. I remember the CryptoBridge platform when it was launched it was a decentralized platform and then suddenly they started asking for identity documents from users before the platform stopped and users' money was lost. There are many other examples that confirm that it cannot be trusted one hundred percent.
You need to have good knowledge in order to be able to protect your investments from fraudsters. But for this you need to spend a lot of time to thoroughly understand all aspects, it is difficult and therefore most people study these important issues superficially. In the end, it's about your money, and so it should be one of the main things you need to worry about.
Everything is online. Expect that there are risk because you don't physically hold your assets. Worrying would just waste your time. If you're anxious then pull your money out, that's how simple it is. But to those who are here in this industry for years, you just need to secure important details from other people, never also access untrusted websites. If the platform itself is the problem, how'd you know? It is hard to tell especially if platforms have good reputation.
2691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copying Bets From Other Bettors OFFICIALLY... on: November 15, 2022, 12:54:14 PM
So this is a new thread. But as I earlier mentioned, I would love a copy-betting feature. I know some people hate it referring to people who copy from others as low in confidence and people may not enjoy their bets if they do not use their own analysis with their bets. I also do not like copy-betting personally but if I saw someone on a betting site with a consistent 400% profit in a week and it is transparent and real then I won't hesitate to allocate a separate fund and copy its bets. I can continue betting on my own analysis anyways using a separate fund.
Some people do just prefer copying bets of the 'better' players out there. It could be lower confidence or they just prefer it such way, nothing more, nothing less. Some gamblers are even winning more by doing so. Another thing in copy betting is a player being able to bet on gambling games he is not knowledgeable of (but ofcourse this would add risk to their bets 'coz it is important to be aware of what you are doing). But we are all aware that for other people, this is 'cheating'- I don't get this point either maybe it has something to do with "pride as a gambler" which is not applicable to everyone.
In the first place, not all gamblers are into passion related factors on why they are playing. Many gamblers are just into profit.
2692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bought 8000 lottery tickets on: November 15, 2022, 07:51:00 AM
Costs only 0.1 $ ticket
8000 ticketsc for 800$

What my odda to get 6 numbers?

https://ibb.co/kcJMM2b
And if you're still missing the chance to win, accept that it's just not your day. But to think how many people are betting to Lottery having the same intention which is to win big time, I guess that number of ticket still has low chance to win.But ofcourse if we would base on probability theory, you have higher chances because you'll have many tries just make sure you'd make many combinations in order to make use of the quantity of your tickets. But again, thid involves luck. If one guy is just lucky, even if he only bet for 1 ticket, then he'd win. Likewise with betting on 10000tickets; if you are a bit unfortunate that day, it won't be yours. But Goodluck with that one!
2693  Other / Off-topic / Re: ⚽ Football Injuries and Injury Updates! on: November 14, 2022, 10:44:46 PM
I think football injury can be discussed on this thread ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions because it will affect the odds and predictions. I don't think there's a gambler who will bet randomly without checking the main line up, where the match will be held, etc etc. Also even though the players aren't injured, there's a chance if the managers wouldn't let him to play due to few reason or his strategy. That's why I prefer to check the main line up before the match happen than looking for injured players.
I think the OP has done the right thing by creating a thread like this, in this world cup soccer betting it's very important because I wouldn't choose to bet on a team that has a lot of injured core players. From the news circulating, Germany will not be supported by some of their players who are injured and the possibility of recovering in the near future is very small, so I will not bet on Germany. I will be eyeing Brazil and England national teams, they are at full strength to play in the world cup.
That is correct - the world cup is about to start and players have worked really hard to reach this place. But the injuries are obvious. I hope and wish all players stay safe during their tour to Qatar and the event ends safely.
Sports industry is more of physical contact but it is unfortunate to see players who were victims of intentional fouling plays. All of them are training really hard just to enter the league and ofcourse to be in a tournament but it is just that 'systems' exist in any industry. There are even cases wherein a player would be tasked to hurt the 'star player' of the other team just to get the win; and this exists on every sports related tournaments not only in soccer. And to those cases which are caused by accidents alone, we cannot really do a thing about it because more likely, players are aware of the tendencies for such things to happen; they just don't know when will it occur.

But going back with this league, I hope France would make it, they are one of the great teams out there even if former players will no longer play for this season.
2694  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sanitize the Gambling Board. on: November 14, 2022, 09:38:21 PM
Gambling board is a board that is highly dedicated to gambling. It is a board where people that are not gamblers cannot post because they won't understand the jargon of gambling. You need to be a real gambler to post here.

Definitely not the point of this section.
But argument is valid that those topics are somehow irrelevant. As I remember it correctly, Gambling section before contains ANN threads of projects wherein players could check new gambling platforms they may try as well as to check for feedbacks of that platform. General topics about gambling, would be for gambling discussion as also mentioned by other users in this topic, as the word discussion also suggest. But at the end of the day we have moderators in this forum. They',d be the one who will move and seggregate topics from one another if it is reall inappropriate or irrelevant. So let them be for now.

Never make a standard for yourself. This could be an insult to the moderators such as teaching them what to do;they definitely know their jobs for years.
2695  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the Bitcoin casinos with first deposit bonuses? on: November 14, 2022, 03:10:03 PM
On this list only a few gambling sites are giving deposit bonuses and those who are more authentic not giving any deposit bonuses. But if you check other types of bonuses then there are a lot of most authentic gambling sites who are providing several types of bonuses.
Most of the time, new gambling platforms are the ones giving deposit bonuses because that is their way to accumulate players to play on their casino. It is somehow of a 'wrlcoming' behavior and to catch the attention of the players in this industry. However there are still gambling casinos which offer the same bonuses even if they aren't new, more likely to retain their players. Logic is simple; there are many gambling platforms out on the internet and they need to somehow give to their players and potential players a hint of not choosing ither platforms over them. It is like a manipulative approach to the gamblers but as long as your assets as a player is not harmed, consume what they are trying to offer.
2696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 14, 2022, 02:46:44 PM
Their records are quite close with one another, I'm not even seeing Thurman's first loss as a disadvantage. Spence is still on a streak but I guess he's still the 'underdog' (only on my point of view) if this match is really happening. One reason is experience of Thurman wherein he fought against big names of boxing industry (well spence as well) but I don't know; there's something with Thurman's previous opponents not only with pacman, which made me a bit of his fan. More like Thurman is more of a solid puncher for me, compared to Spence who often boxes out 'coz he's more of a texbook fighter.

Would be really a great match up. Big respect to the champ still even if I'm a fan of Thurman. Both have advantages;different styles in the 'square'. This would be exciting for sure!
2697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Reduce Gambling Related Issues Like Suicide etc? on: November 14, 2022, 02:07:06 PM
Prevention is better than cure. If in the first place a plaer have limited oneself towards gambling, things would be at ease. But ofcourse we cannot change the past so in order to somehow lessen the drive of engaging into this activity and eventually be too dragged in gambling, practice not spending most of your time in gambling platforms. Make it a way to do other things such as engaging to sports, reading books, watching movies or even socializing with your friends. In such way, you won't be ending up on your couch betting for the whole day. But what if you don't have those hobbies? Then check for your wallet.  Avoid having an on the go budget because it would be more likely be consumed as one of your bets.

Lastly, you may consult a professional if you think you are having a hard time not thinking of gambling. That's way too dangerous if it would be set aside 'coz eventually it may manifest to psychological problems or even physical and emotional.
2698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not Quitting only a break on: November 14, 2022, 01:34:19 PM
Quitting sometimes is the real courage. In gambling, taking a break is a good idea especially if you are seeing or if it is obvious that you're losing way more than what you've earned. Think and reflect whether you are still enjoying the activity or are you being to dragged into it. Gambling as it sounds cliche, is addictive in its nature simply because money is involved. Therefore limitations should always be set everytime you are playing.

When it comes to quitting and taking a break; you decide for yourself when and what to do than to recklessly push yourself into something which would put your wellbeing to danger. But if you are enjoying it, maybe rest would be enough. There are just many players out there who doesn't know when to stop then complain eventually once losses became bigger. OP is on the right track.
2699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying the DIP Solana VS Bitcoin VS Ethereum... on: November 14, 2022, 12:55:14 PM
Hi everyone!!

I hope you are doing good... I'm preparing to invest in crypto one more time, hoping I have better results than the last time.

We are seeing a big dip and I consider it's a great time to buy... I'm gonna invest $30,000 usd which is the biggest part of my savings so I expect not to fail...

I'm doing a long term investment (2 years) at least until the next bitcoin Halving.

1) My first question is about Solana... as it seems to be the most affected. Do you think it's a wise investment, or you consider it too risky?
2) Do you believe Solana could recover it's price and reach again $200 usd?

3) If it's not Solana, which other currencies you consider a potential investment?

4) What do you think about Bitcoin and Ethereum? I believe those are the safest investments, but I'm also looking for something with more space to grow...

5) Do you know or can recommend another currencies other than Solana, Bitcoin or Ethereum?

Thanks in advance!
Kind regards;
Christian Russo

In my experience, both Ethereum and Bitcoin is best for investment at this bear market. Not Solana is too risk for invest in this altcoin because after FTX crash next target will be Solana. Then its price will be go to the zero. So I recommend you to invest in Ethereum and Bitcoin at dip. Invest at your own research
Altcoins has the biggest rate of increase during bullish market because their value are most of the time low. But that does not guarantee profit. Given the number of altcoins in this industry, only a few has the chance to go along with thr upward movement and it is hard to tel which is which. Safe coins to invest are still Ethereum and Bitcoin but if you are a small time investor and you are only 'scalping' on exchangers, then don't expect for huge return. Usually, big investors are the ones which are getting huge profit everytime the market price of Bitcoin and Ethereum or cryptos in general, are increasing because they have invested huge amount as well. But if people are willing to take the risk for altcoin investment, then go for the popular ones in this industry to get lower odds.

With these awards, we aimed to raise awareness towards best practices, highlighting brands that go above and beyond to offer the best cryptocurrency gambling experience.

This year The Blockchain Casino Awards are back and we want to add a new section - YOUR choice as a user. This poll will help us understand what is the Consumer’s Choice when it comes to Blockchain Casinos.

Any other feedback or ideas? Leave your comments below!

Stay tuned for more news about The Blockchain Casino Awards 2022!

Your question might be difficult for some users as many are members of more than one site, so it would be difficult for them to choose any specific one. However, the results might be astonishing for many users. Overall I like it.

I get the point; an individual gambler won't be able to experience many gambling platforms do he/she won't be able to tell and compare which one is better than another. If that player would choose a gambling dite to vote in this poll, that would more likely the gambling site experienced playing with which would be normal but would affect the result; instead of being able to determine which is which, results will only dhow which gambling site has more players which participated.

Well currently I do not think it is very difficult for Stake.com or another highly reputable and trustworthy casino to come out on top, and the survey that was done was somewhat short, there was no participation to say that it had a representative population of the forum, I think that in order to make a good account it has to appear at the top of the forum, this is something that cannot be obtained from one day to the next, there are players who sometimes do not come very close to the forum, just to look for information in specific, it's normal.

However, we have seen many reviews from various users, some are very good, others are somewhat biased, but I think most of us know which are the best casinos.

Biases are just normal and so do voting. This survey would only be meaningful if there will be a comparative approach among gambling platforms and also if correct statistical analysis would be use than rely solely with quantity.
