2781  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: November 06, 2022, 10:35:53 PM
Definitely. Everyone would be affected by an economic recession but big businessmen or company owners are the one who would be later affected because they would be able to endure its early phase but eventually since they are business owners, their company would be more likely pulled by the problem, if the recession will be continuous and will stay for a long period of time.

For people who have been saving funds before they lose their jobs, that would even open some door of opportunities like investing in crypto or in real assets that would likely to gain huge profits in the future.
That's hard to do even if they've saved that much because what they'll think about is on how to survive having no job. That savings they've got will be used for it and that's why most of them barely will invest into assets like bitcoin. I'd tell them to be enough thinking about huge profits because that won't come in an instant after by just investing but it will require them a lot of time and patience until they meet it. Because it's unknown how long will they remain jobless and even if they put it into an investment, it's highly likely they'll pull it out there for survival.
Savings won't  last forever and as long as they won't be able to do something to add up in their savings, it will eventually be consumed, more likely for a short period of time if the amount they saved is not that big, because recession is the continuous increase on the market price of goods or inflation at this moment.
2782  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Exclusion of Chicken Invaders: the Xmas version (My favourite) on: November 06, 2022, 04:26:34 PM
I have checked different casinos platforms to see if I can see Chicken Invaders to have fun but it seems like the game is not on any.

If you know any online casino that has this game please drop the link.
Casinos gives you entertainment and take your money in return that is why the game is not found in the casinos
Chicken invaders is just for fun,I could remember when I and my elder sister was so much fun of it. Maybe with time it can be computed into the online casino platform, in such a way that you need to pay a little to play.
I have seen this concept when I was in my elementary days and it reminds me of the good old days. But I don't think casinos have it as a profitable game. It's interesting but it needs polishment if ever they will add it to gambling games. It can only be a commision-based game but couldn't be as profitable as other games since it has another concept. I don't think adults these days will also pick it over famous gambling games.
Maybe it is not as popular with typical gambling games. Online casinos are just following the trend because that would give profit to their business. If they will add all of the gambling games there is, there might be downsides on their end which is why only a few if there are any, gambling site/s offer this gane to the players. However, numerous gambling sutes are appearing each in everyday. Also, they are improving as well as the old ones wherein they are moving closer to modernity.

Before, gambling games would only consist of cardgames, slotmachine, dice, and such, but you can see gambling platforms having games which are in line with online games or games which are catchy or not evident with traditional gambling so hopefully your demanded game will soon be listed to many gambling site in order for more people to also experience it.
2783  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto raffle game idea | feedback required on: November 06, 2022, 03:44:57 PM

and 30% for the operation cost, signature campaigns , affiliates , servers , ads etc

Is your profit included with operation? 'coz you need to prioritize it as for your effort. I like the idea that you've considered donating but atleast compensate your effort as well given that you'd make live videos which would consume time and energy.

Anyway, I do also think that the allocation is not clear enough; much better if you would make a breakdown to be more precised. It will help you as well on organizing this project of yours and other aspects of it.
Participants only get 60% and they give 30% for the casino marketing.
Is Jay Leno your host? Forchristsake! This raffle game hasn't started yet but has already attempted to squeeze from users.

Maybe you should have thought of the funds to build up your casino. So many have tried with huge funds but failed. They've tried campaigning too for a very minimum weekly pay but the competition is harsh.

Campaigning won't be a good idea if you will have a small fund that will circulate on the whole project. If it is a small one, and you are a solo player you can euther hire or make efforts to minimize the costings and to  balance things out.
2784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: November 06, 2022, 03:05:39 PM
A complete domination by Bivol, this is why I usually say an undefeated boxer with many fights are none if he fight with a champion who've risk his record to obtain belt. Sadly Bivol can't knock out Ramirez, it's either Bivol's power is decrease or Ramirez has a good body.

After this result, it's high likely next fight we will see Bivol fight with Canelo first and then Bivol might taking challenge to fight with Beterbiev.
A fight with canelo would be exciting.
I also assumed Ramirez would be at the upper hand last month. I was not fully aware of his career so I did my research on these two which gave me an expectation of the possible winner. But after what happened, stats alone won't really determine or even assure a win between a fight; there are really many things that could happen. Zurdo had a clean record as well and a higher KO rate but during the fight, the underdog began to 'bite'. Both fighters did great for the audiences even if it yield to a unanimous decision (most of us I bet, are waiting for a KO). On my perspective it was a close fight but for the judges, there's a domination on the end of Bivol which is reasonable if we would come into details. Still a great fight for both of them. But I'd probably start to put Bivol on my list of fighter to watch from now.
2785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High roller looking for KYC-FREE casino on: November 06, 2022, 02:37:00 PM
House Of Pokies Casino is one of the newest and most exciting online casinos to hit the market https://hsfpkscasino.com. They offer a huge selection of games, great customer service, and a convenient online gaming experience.
Beware what this user is aharing, these sites are likely just to grab you money and looking at the websites he shares, it's likely an obvious copy pasta sites.

I don't think you'd be anonymous at all when most of the legitimate casinos right now are into regulations and if you're a high roller, you'd be dealing with KYC of course so that they know it's not a laundered one.

Also, high rollers are cautious enough to get themselves away from these kind of sites and usually, they are into KYC types or the reputable ones just to make sure that it's quite safe to them to gamble.
Won't be high rollers for nothing, indeed. For sure these people have engaged to different gambling platforms because OP has his own preferences already. If he's just a new one (which could still be a high roller because he has the money to do so) he'd only be eyeing to UI and other observable traits a gambling platform is having.
I want to find a new casino without the need to expose myself to the KYC process. I don't want this thread to discuss the pro's and con's of KYC.
I want to remain a private person and gamble.
My play has made me the number 1 player at Blackjack.fun, wagering over 2000BTC
Things that are important:
KYC free obviously
good customer service
instant withdrawals
a community would be a plus
a decent range of games that are bug free

Thanks for taking your time to help me with the wide range of choices.

You want to wager with amounts like 2000+ bitcoins which is too high an amount and i can't recommend you any site which is KYC free and they may be risk free ?
By the way since you already wagered at blackjack, why not continue there?

The problem is that sites may let you deposit big amounts but may not let you withdraw these huge amounts with KYC. Also, let's suppose you wager 2000 bitcoins and may earn double the amount, you need a reliable site and that usually comes with KYC.

Probably he is looking for something which is not present on that gambling site. He won't move to another if they are not lacking something.

Huge amounts would be accepted and would be easily withdrawn and deposited to huge gambling sites ( easilu to deposit as well with fake gambling platforms LOL) because the moment he entered and tries to deposit, there will be an interaction already wherein questions will be asked on the initial, and for the latter it won't be a problem anymore, but yeah it would more likely ask for KYC since huge gambling sites are often registered which also means that they need to follow rules including what they would implement to their players.
2786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Japanese gambling - tabsai game on: November 06, 2022, 02:02:57 PM

It also reminds me of color game because that game is also played by three small boxes instead of dice and instead of small dots, the small boxes are painted with different colours.

Same thing goes for me since I have played that game before. That's the first thing which came to my mind although I did not experience playing this japanese game OP have mentioned.
This gave me an idea as well; Is there are gambling site wherein you'd be able to play country based gambling games? Just to be able to experience others' culture which would be evident to games they are enjoying to play with, but that would really be another topic to discuss.

I thought this was the same to that one Japanese game that is discussed here before but this was only just another dice game although it's more unique than the most dice games that I see which are only a single player. This is more fun since you are not the only player playing.

It also reminds me of color game because that game is also played by three small boxes instead of dice and instead of small dots, the small boxes are painted with different colours. Getting certificate is nice. It gives players a sense of security but there are gambling sites who don't have a license and yet they are still fair because they are using a provably fair system.
this sounds good if the dice game is unique compared to other casino sites, i haven't seen the game because i don't understand japanese, i'll see later when different languages are supported there, i like the dice roll game if it's a game that can be played with other players looks like I'll try the game later at least I don't keep playing with gambling machines or gambling operators
Unique or not, if the rewards would be really promising, it would be enough to really carry people's attention towards it. Also, there are many gamblers who are into pure luck gambling games such as dice and roulettes. It is just a normal dice game but when the word 'japanese' was attached into it, it became somewhat interesting, Lol.
2787  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 06, 2022, 01:20:14 PM
Hi well we are in the process of opening a crypto casino and sportsbook we hope is ready in one month

Some features of our casino / sportsbook:
1) 100% anonymous we are never going to ask you for any personal info or KYC BS it doesn't matter the amount
2) we are also going to have a live casino
3) we are going to accept privacy coins like XMR
4) You can place bets over the phone 24/7
5) Is going to be available worldwide

what else should we add?

Let us know Smiley
Good impression but it would be a lot of work especially creating it accessible around the world. That would include huge costings as well. Still a broad description for me. But since your main platform is sportsbook aside from being a casino, you should as well highlight it to the extent of how will you create or apply it in your platform which would compete with many gambling sites at this moment. KYC on the other hand is a small thing to other players because some of the players are just using names which aren't them. Making a more detailed list would be better if you really want to catch the audience as early as now.

To be clear. Does your casino will have a license to operate right because you are offering games from erd party provider. How can you guarantee that you will never ask KYC if your license is strictly requiring it for AML policy?

This would really matter for it to be accessible around the globe. Even if OP is just gauging the idea of his platform, many factors should really be considered.
2788  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptocurrency Casinos Are Ruling The Signature Campaign Here In Bitcointalk on: November 06, 2022, 09:39:35 AM
With the exception of Chipmixer, all the other signature campaigns are Crypto casino based, some are still for many years this is big proof that the Crypto casino industry is booming and the ICOs days are over, seven years ago all the signatures you see here are all Cryptocurrency projects.

Do you think that this trend will go on for many years?
Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?
Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?

It just happened that gambling related projects lasted longer than other projects especially in this forum. Way back 2017 there are various type of projects which circulated inside and outside this platform; some are health care related and others are online games or for entertainment purposes. But through the years which have passed, longest running projects are gambling related. Maybe gambling is really an undying activity to many people or simply it would be always timely to the eyes of investors which is why multiple projects still continue to pop up.

But for gambling industry to dominate this forum; I guess it won't. There are many sections which are being talked about here, and not solely for projects. Most of the people here came to exchange knowledge and opinion with other users.
2789  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 05, 2022, 07:18:56 PM
These are practical and logical things. In short you have to be responsible with what you are spending your money with. What is ideal is to invest your money into something profitable but it is also not wrong to buy things that you've dreamed of as long as there are limits. If you really want to get rich you need to plan your expenses as well as the cash in or cash flow on your account; Start 'em young as most of us are saying. Invest on knowledge as well to gain ideas on diversifying your money and not solely depending with one thing; that would generate more profit.

In my PoV,

1 - Never do impulsive purchases
2-  Never purchase something which you can't afford
3 - Never be greedy or foolish
I think the most important thing a living human being should do is invest their money, while you are investing your money do not forget to enjoy yourself and have a good life too, time wait for no one, invest your money and find a good way to enjoy it.

While on the journey of investing and getting rich many people have failed to live.

Balance things out. You may enjoy and be responsible at the same time just avoid being eaten by greed and materialistic. At the end of the day; that is your money so you have rights what to do with it.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 05, 2022, 06:41:51 PM
Not surprising if there are any cases. People are easily carried away by money. Observe how they asked "how much money did you get from doing..." and "can you tell me about that". It creates interest and influence especially in gambling. The activity itself is tempting ; winning jig time in a single night. But the problem with influence is that people only see the good part of the story. They won't be interested to know how much you've lost, they would only care how much you've earned as a player. They will just realize it eventually wherein they're close to regrets. Gambling is different. You've more likely lose double your winnings,it is just that the moment you win makes it rewarding which boosts the interest or confidence of non gamblers.

But if you are a gambler who cares for your circle, make sure to educate them first of the risks involved. Y'all know what follows if not.
2791  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: November 05, 2022, 05:29:24 PM
Our attitude and lifestyle must change immediately, if we are young then don't ever think about being extravagant and don't want to invest, because regret always comes and it's too late when we are old, never waste time and money badly better do it right away invest before it's too late.
That's how privilege works; you won't appreciate someyhing you have. Investments and other sources of profit won't come at your interest if you are still not needing that money. You'd be more comfortable of the life you are currently living and moving in. That is indeed where regret takes place which is always at the back. Well, you cannot regret something in the first glance right? Lol.
The only very reason I find why most people are broke is because they were too lazy although, it's not always the main reason but mostly it's because of their laziness that's why they end up being the same as before. If people were striving just to survive or to get out the poverty, they will in no time but it should always come with a self-control and patience if they want to continue succeeding since it's not always about how hard you work but it's also how you control yourself from being a reckless spender that would lead you to becoming broke someday.
Some people are naturally lazy they prefer " to receive a fish rather than to learn how to fish so as to sustain them for a lifetime" there are numerous learnable skills on the internet which are well sought after unfortunately some lazy people prefers to stay idle and beg to survive invariably live from hand to mouth, even with the little money they squandered it, Moreso it's advisable to utilize a scale of preference in our basic needs by avoiding purchase of items which are not the basic needs of the household especially now that inflation is ravaging globally leading to high cost of goods and services.
Hard to tell. Some people have drive to invest and such but unfortunately, not all have the knowledge. Why don't they study it then? Sometimes eagerness is not enough especially if you don't get anything you are trying to absorb. There are terminologies and strategies a non-investor won't get unless you would be using practical examples for them to relate their state of knowledge into it. Not all people would be patient enough to teach step by step procedure to a person right?
2792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would this Lead to the Mass Adoption of Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2022, 04:42:02 PM
Mass adoption should be because the government agreed to use bitcoin as a legal tender. But if twitter accepts bitcoin payments because of Elon Musk, then it's not the mass adoption I was hoping for. Some other platforms also accept bitcoin as a currency or means of payment, previously I thought it would increase the use case of bitcoin as a currency.

Bitcoin is just an option for people if Elon Musk actually accepts the proposal on his platform. So there are certainly positives about bitcoin if Elon really wants to do it, but I don't expect it to be his second joke soon after Tesla.

Who said you that government acceptance is needed for mass adoption ?
I agree that government acceptance "can" boost the mass adoption of bitcoin but it is not the "only way" for mass adoption.
Services like what OP is talking about "can" act as a catalyst to start mass adoption of bitcoin.
If more of such services start using bitcoin as a form of payment then bitcoin will start being widely adopted.
A catalyst indeed but government acceptance would be a great factor 'coz their acceptance means 'permit' of its usage. People can open businesses accepting this technology as a mode of payment. Many franchise have done it but why do you think on the long run they have stopped? One factor is volatility wherein businesses cannot afford losing their profit during bearish market becuase they need to make use of their sales for their work force and general improvements while having trouble with their sales in the first place. Another is transaction limits. To countries wherein it is not accepted by governments, blockchain transaction or peer to peer transactions would only work to pro-crypto technology which has a small population in those countries as regarded. Therefore, they are somewhat being forced to just use fiat based online payments which slows crypto adaption.
2793  Economy / Economics / Re: Is recession coming actually? on: November 05, 2022, 04:13:27 PM
If the leaders of some countries are not ready to stabilize the economy their country e.g Nigeria, recession may set in soon.
Recession would come no matter how prepared or not a country is. It is a reflection on the world economy and is 'somehow' cannot be stopped in an instant; it will cost more than that. Smaller countries has no choice to be carried away by the waves of economic recession. It is a battle of endurance between each of the countries' economy. Those which are bigger would be able to cope longer than weaker ones.

But there is also high inflation and prices of goods and services are actually rising. People on the ground are actually having a hard time. Savings are now shrinking due to high living cost. Everything is getting more and more expensive. So while there are indeed jobs, salaries are not catching up with the higher cost of living.

This is more evident at the present compared to employment rate. Everyone including rich and poor ones are affected by the price hike of almost everything.  One factor according to an article I have read on social media is continuous growth of population wherein it over powers market supply therefore creating huge demand which is hard to handle, and also, yielding to price hike with market goods.
2794  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think of gold price in long term? on: November 05, 2022, 03:36:30 PM
Chances are high that its market value will continue to increase as years go by but it won't be as fast as other assets. So if you prefer long term investment then gold will be a good asset to have in the future, but if there are many choices to choose from.
I think we should have both, fiat money or gold. Because we don't know what will happen in the future. It could be that gold will be more salable in the future. But, I don't know.

The price of gold is always high, and maybe the price will always go up in the future.
I see all these as a joke, some countries moving from using usd to using gold. I hope they all know that gold is very volatile and holding a volatile valuable like gold can be very risky. The market cam be manipulated and things will get worse and worse many things uneasy. I will still stick with usd. I matter what many countries think about holding it as a means of exchange. Instead of holding gold for exchange I will prefer using Bitcoin which has better days ahead. I think this practice may not stay too long.
Volatile indeed but carefully observe how small its price move. Its market value does not move as fast as oil (for example); it increases in an instant but falls down again after a while which would probably worry an investor more. Peace of mind as an asset will be to gold and other stock market assets, no doubt. Bitcoin is quite of a different asset; more risky. One reason why is its too volatile market value but I cannot deny how profitable it is as an asset. But unlike Gold, this industry still is on the process of adaption from many countries.
2795  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: November 05, 2022, 02:55:40 PM
The most real problem for now is that corruption is ingrained because it is not only about now but even corruption has occurred, perhaps even before our lives, so that indeed things like this will obviously be a little difficult to eradicate regardless of anything.
Personally, I'm actually quite pessimistic if anyone or the government says it will eradicate corruption as long as the conditions don't change and there's no punishment that really deters them forever.
Can't blame you. Candidates of different terms have mentioned about this countless times but nothing happened. Corruption is an undending process simply because it is not only person who runs each and every sector. Indeed there's a president but how about his/her subordinates? would he be able to watch every actions of the administration which is why I see no end to it. Even if 10/20 would be good, the remaining won't and as long as there's atleast one corrupted officer, things will just continue. It should not be normalized but because of the long years which have passed, things aren't surprising anymore, people are just hopeless of change.

I have few questions; are those dates? 'coz I think those are not updated or something? Also you have mentioned about statistics, I think I'd be more convinced once you have posted it in this thread to support what you are trying to promote by this topic. But I'll also ask my friends about their take on your predictions. Will do my part as well to check on some of their games to gain more insight of how this field of sportsbetting work, I guess.
2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: November 05, 2022, 01:39:30 PM
So got the time to look for David Avanesyan fight and see how good he is,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xUFVfAW8rI

This is against Josh Kelly, and Josh was really doing good in the first couple of round even caught Davis napping and almost got a knock down. But David is one tough sob, as he keeps coming back for more and when he landed flash, it was over for Josh.

However, I would say that he is just fairly basic and I think Crawford will win this fight very easy as he can break him down per round.
Aside from agility and reach are advantages in boxing along with experience, skills, and intelligence. But what's obvious is that, crawford has the reach advantage of 14cm over Avanesyan. On their stats as well, the chances of Crawford for a knockout is higher. Well actually, one boxer has most of the edge on this fight but it just happened that we don't always depend on stats alone. There are factors such as Individual's fighting spirit and eagerness in the square which might create changes once the bell rings. On my end, as a gambler, I'd bet with odds but as a fan of this sport I'd never understimate the skills of David 'coz he won't get that reputation without a reason.
2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 05, 2022, 12:19:36 PM

No need to worry as PBA commissioner will always be there to save refs ass. If there's any investigation, I'm pretty sure it will be quick to forget, Com. Marcial can't do anything against MVP's group of company, we know that right?

They will not do anything if the order is coming from them to rig the game. PBA is known to be a rigged basketball league so it's not surprising to see a ref trying to favor a certain team to win, whether it's Pangilinan or Cojuangco's team, it doesn't matter as long as the order is coming from above.
Money will always speak and there is too much politics with PBA, I'm just wondering if those big companies will really fight just because of the miss calls with the referees, I'm sure they also have a deal in private, after all they are all business men who knows how to deal with this kind of situation.

It's just sad to see the wrong calls and the effort of the players are being wasted. Well, what we can expect for PBA though they can suspend that referee but I'm sure they will not do anything to address this issues, they will just ignore it.
Makes it unfortunate. I won't say I miss the old days in this league 'coz what's happening at the present was also evident before as what my father have told me (he's a Ginebra fan btw for more than a decade). Money is power in the Philippines no matter what industry that is, it will always rule which kills the enjoyment of everything. Right now there are many on going leagues and on the others, they are worse to the extent wherein some professional players are taking an eye with what is happening and being seen on national television. When it comes on PBA to be specific, I guess politics is more evident with the players' line up in the first place. You can see teams which are full of 'big names' (well it is not really a bad thing if we are talking about business, the franchise can just afford buying whoever they want), which somewhat kills the excitement. Even before the playoffs you could already expect whose teams would meet in the finals LOL.

However, if you'd get use to it, you'll just find a way to atleast enjoy a bit. There are still players who are really good despite of not being in the spotlight.

Online casinos and sports betting platforms are big businesses like we all know, and currently considering the economic situation of things around the world many businesses are affected and have been taking measures to cut costs in terms of reducing staff, taking loans etc to still be able to sustain operations. How do you think online casinos and sports betting platforms are adjusting to manage the situation?
As long as there are players, a casino would continue to run. Landbased casinos could be affected by now with regards on their staffs' payroll for sure because they will be somehow required to give them salary increase to help them with their daily living given that there is a price hike with necessities. I am not quite of this one but I have read an article ,here's the link :https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpsyg.2017.01247/full

It is a conducted study wherein result showed that the effects of economy related problems are not problematic to casinos. There is also a study finding wherein people do more engage with luck based activity during economic recession (probably due to frustration?) which is not a negative part for gambling places. So I think they did not put that much effort on coping with the problem most of us are currently dealing with. Likewise with online gambling wherein if it would be compared to landbased casinos, I think it is needing less of workforce. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Is Stake having an issue at the moment, it loads so slow or stuck in loading then ended with error page?
I thought it is my connection issue but I cant access other sites without any issues, I tried some of the mirror link but nothing.
It is the 2nd time in the last hour for this issue, are you doing unscheduled maintenance Stake?

It is lagging since post monthly been released, original games are lag too. Plinko drops 1 ball per second which is torture to play on this speed. It is on Stake side, changing mirror link doesn't help.

I also experienced it but some people said the problem came from a third party because indeed in other casinos there are also a little problem although not too disturbing. But if you get the same thing in the in-house game then the problem is not only from the third party right?

Edit: Oh I just found information related to in-house games, a few days ago they made an Upgrade on the Server but it shouldn't be long because they said they only took a few minutes, source: https://t.me/stakecasino/5293
Sometimes it has something to do with the server in general as well as the user's internet connection but there are times indeed that the gambling site itself has something to do with it which is why updates are being done by the management in order to maintain and improve the system. So far, there are indeed some minimal and unexpected lags but I suspect it is just my internet connection.

I'm only playing these past few months every weekends 'coz of my job so I'm not being able to track every adjustments the team are doing. But I can say it is going well. In general the platform is good and advisable to fellow players out there.
