2921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin rise again? on: August 22, 2022, 03:16:41 PM
I'm sure the market will rise again, the problem is whether we are patient to wait and buy when the price is cheap like now? Currently I continue to buy bitcoin and I will make a long -term investment, I'm sure the price of Bitcoin can reach $ 100K in 3 years or less.

Being optimistic would really ease the pressure to those who are planning to leave this crypto industry. I am reading sentiments from those people whose assets were liquidated or if not, had huge loss from holding up until this point. No matter how we look at it and as investors, we should only focus on aiming to 'win'. There will always be set backs but as long as you are holding the 'rope' you won't fall for worse things.
.. the rally is just a trap for those who are easily fooled into thinking that bull season is right around the corner and that the rally is the beginning of it, try not to be fooled during this time.

Quite a double edge sword. Even if people are aware of the higher possibility for the market prices to increase, we just don't have the same tolerance of market movement. Some would be easily carried away by their fear of losing everything which limits them to risk at some point. They'd probably learn once things got back to its feet .
2922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first physical business that accepts Bitcoin payments in my area. on: August 22, 2022, 02:13:48 PM
Glad to see how adaptation continues at the present inspite of the negative impressions being created recently because of the bearish market (which often occurs, quite unding like FUDs ). In my country as well, there are small businesses accepting cryptos as mode of payment but unfortunately, some of them stopped because they are afraid of the idea that the continuous 'downfall' of the price would lead them to bankruptcy ( which is quite sketchy on my end, like why?). But my take on this is that, those owners who accepted and atopped might probably be new ones in this industry, who are still not resilient with tokens' volatility. Quite sad, still a long run for sure. Let us hope for the better.
2923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision time on: August 22, 2022, 01:30:50 PM
It is always better to diversify your investment, in any industry or field, especially if you're unsure of the outome. It is somehow 'playing safe' from the possibility of loss. Putting everything in one bucket will put you on edge between losing everything or winning bigtime. So think about winning not as much as you wanted to, but having that higher tendency to avoid loss.

This is crypto industry we are talking about. Everything is uncertain, no matter how good your TAs are, things just don't work as always as you plan it to be. The goal is to lessen the risk of losing.
2924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Expect The Bear Season. on: August 17, 2022, 02:09:25 PM
Quite in contrast with other analyses in this industry. Some people are expecting bullish season once we're on the last quarter of the year. Their basis is the calendarwherein the idea of "it will happen again" relies.Eitherways, determining would be a pain on your ass because no one really knows. Whether it goes up or not, and if it is profit you are seeking, surely there are various way to earn from this industry. However, if you are a short term trader, Bitcoin and other huge names of this block won't be the best options I guess. Try looking around.
2925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of BTC ever hit $40k again? on: August 16, 2022, 02:00:53 PM
Many speculations are showing nonstop. Some are saying that cryptos will again reach ATH but to some technical analyses, it will be hard for majority of cryptos to again break ATH. In reality, it is quite close to impossible to predict market behavior, accurately or atleast precisely. There are many factors affectinf market value and each of these factors are changing from time to time which further affect market prices. On my end, I do believe that someday Bitcoin's price will again soar high along with other cryptos.
2926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Industry experts believes BTC is primed to hit $106,000 on: August 15, 2022, 01:50:38 PM
There is always positive news that makes us have to be optimistic about the future of Bitcoin, in my opinion it is natural that many speculations say Bitcoin is worthy of being valued at $ 106K, the adoption and tender process that legalizes Bitcoin is a strong indication that soon the market will explode.
Lacks basis I guess. What's with Bitcoin to be an indicator? Bottomline is, it is still hard to determine whether bullish run has already started or when will it occur or would be seen. Things like these speculations, always appear out of nowhere, not knowing that some people would be easily carried away by the idea and be in debt for not doing their own analysis. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are indeed promising but let us all still consider the present scenario. Being optimistic is good but anything which is too much, could not be a positive thing.
2927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc not money on: August 14, 2022, 01:03:40 PM
Can gold be called money? Certainly not. so btc is definitely not money even though btc can be used as a medium of exchange, btc is more appropriate as a digital asset that can be exchanged for money so don't confuse btc with money.
Actually, gold was once used as "money" especially with 'trading' of 'goods' between different countries or places, but I'm not quite sure if it is still being used at the present. Money is indeed different because it is centralized or simply, it is under a government or 'system' which is primarily for transactions. Bitcoin technically is not money if we would base on the characteristics of a fiat or typical currency. I do consider it more of an asset which I can trade to buy things.  The only reason I guess why cryptos are related to currencies or money is because of its value which is still based with fiat.
2928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be open to any possibility on: August 14, 2022, 12:23:08 PM
Imagine me creating a topic in 2017 asking if doge coin can hit 0.70$ some day the answer would have been NO from almost everyone, what I have learnt from crypto projects is no matter how stupid a coin looks and you need to get out because its not doing fine always leave a bit behind, I sold all my doge coin 120k before 2021 bull market and left only 1067 Doge coin in my wallet, learn from my mistake.

This is common huge misconception made by newbies because they think what happen from the past might also happen in future and remember that there are so many shitcoins created that's why much better if you invest then take profit rather than believing such another story which is somehow impossible to happen on new tokens created. But if you can take a huge risk about doing that well its up for you to try if you want to figure out if you became rich or get broke in future.
I do agree.
The problem is that newbies tend to generalize, likewise with non-crypto investors. They easily make judgements about this industry such as "an easy way to get rich", "follow the trend", "hodl" and the likes without thinking of a strategy or doing a technical analysis first. TA indeed does not guarantee things but atleast, it would be a better basis than intuition or any form of gues. In every industry, especially when it comes to investments, there are things to be learned first to make a start and to be good at something.
2929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take profits? on: August 11, 2022, 09:39:28 PM
I am mostly a hodler no matter the market going down or up. But sometimes I get the advice to take some profits.

Example: my investment of 300 euro becomes 500 euro. Is it better to take out my initial investment or only take the profit ? And reinvest that profit ?

How do you guys do this ?

I just feel like i'm missing potential profits by not selling and seeing my potential profits go up and down.

Taking a low profit is better than ignoring the existing profit. Because with these profits, you can invest in the next opportunity. If with Euro 300 you can get 0.163 ETH, then Euro 500 can earn 0.272 ETH. So in my opinion, taking advantage of any amount is the best solution than ignoring it.
Profit is profit. No matter how big or small it is, the aim is not to lose an amount of what you have invested or bet. This is where greed plays a role to some people. There are instances wherein investors are aiming for a bigger profit but since this market is unpredictable, things could change in an instant. This is why taking the profit would be best. There are also instances wherein profit gets bigger but that would be a gamble. Setting a mindset that a small profit would be enough, ATLEAST, is far from risking it all and ending up losing for that day.
2930  Economy / Economics / Re: What crisis what food crisis ? on: August 10, 2022, 01:28:44 PM
The increase in the food price has been terrible in our countryy
People are unable to buy all the food item and there is no end to it. It will continue and late people will get used to it.
What does "late people get used to" mean?
Because I also feel the rising prices of goods and services now including the price of food in the country I live in.
But I have absolutely no problem with this because I can still adjust my living expenses very well, although I also want to reduce the price of goods and food to more affordable ones.
That's your privilege I guess but unfortunately, not all people, especially in third world countries, would be able to cope up with the rapid increase in daily needs. Many people would say "just earn more money" but in reality we are all standing on different foot and wearing different shoes or slippers. Many people are working hard and also there are people who are woking smart. The problem is that, not all people could afford to focus studying while struggling financially because of lack of resources. There are people who succeeded inspite of these challenges but sad to say we are not all carrying the same luggage.
2931  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we hodling BTC or we are hodling Fiat?? on: August 04, 2022, 02:07:10 PM
Of course, Bitcoin holding is better than Fiat, the fact that is happening now is that there is a lot of inflation, while Bitcoin continues to rise so that it can be the main choice for investment, but we must understand that Bitcoin holding is very risky because the opportunity for drops can also occur quickly.
Bitcoin is far from being the main option for the investment, many are still hesitant to buy and we cannot blame them because of so many issues with cryptomarket recently, this can discourage possible investor to come in the market if they are still seeing a bad reputation. Well, either holding fiat or btc it doesn't matter because it can't grow without taking any action, if you are buying with BTC then you should start analyzing, and if you have extra fiat money think on where you can put that money so you can beat the inflation and make it grow. Just hold the good coins, and with BTC it is still a good option despite of that pump and dump trend.
The idea is on point except for the last line which contradicted your previous statements. Indeed we have our own choices or decisions when it comes on investment. It is not a secret that volatility is on another level when it comes to cryptocurrency, in comparison with other means of investment. Likewise with different investors; some are into 'stable but small profit' while others are into risks.
Fiat suddenly came to the ' spotlight of the scene' of investments because of how the world market behaves, recently.
2932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which token should I use for my investment ? on: August 01, 2022, 05:22:33 PM
Can anyone tell me which token should I use for my investment which will give me profit in a short time as I am investing for the first time?
Well there are quite a lot of reasons why you shouldn't ask people to help you choose a coin to invest in, more often than not they will advise you to buy coins that they themselves are hodling, please do your own research and make up your mind, i see this request of yours as being unnecessary and also risky to you. Having said that, remember that short term coins are quite risky projects to invest in, you might be lucky, and you also could be unlucky, eliminate the feeling of coming into the network to get rich quick, so you will not be mad at yourself when things do not go as you planned.
Definitely newbie things. Quite surprised that despite of the current market situation, the image of crypto investment remained "instant profit" but in reality it is not.

To OP, there are many topics in this forum such as with beginners section and others that might peak your interest. Asking is okay definitely but never settle with spoonfeeding. Resources are there for you to check out, I agree with what most of the users are saying that you should first know where would you be putting your money into.
2933  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the future of Bitcoin uncertain? on: August 01, 2022, 04:28:41 PM
There is no doubt that bitcoin's future is in doubt, but it is probably not quite accurate to say that the government won't bother with bitcoin at all. Bitcoin does not see the government as the enemy but the government seems to see bitcoin as the enemy. As long as bitcoin exists, they won't stop messing with it until it disappears, but that's not going to be possible. Bitcoin volatility is not a bad thing sometimes, the stronger the drop, the stronger the upside potential.
Governments had such a monopoly over the currency market that they never thought they will ever be challenged, they beat gold long time ago and the few attempts to create currencies outside of their control were destroyed by them, Satoshi created a superior currency out of nowhere and they are not willing to quit their benefits just because one person had a good idea, however they are realizing that killing bitcoin is not going to be easy and if anything it will be one of the most difficult things they could hope to accomplish.
The threat I guess is taxation. Any currency would do, if I'm not mistaken, as long as the government of that certain country will benefit on its usage but since cryptos are in blockchain, governments are somehow afraid of the tendencies people will avoid taxes which governments believe, will affect country's economy. If ever there will be regulations, years would be needed still for such thing to occur. And if ever regulated cryptos will be the "same" as traditional digital money, that could also affect not only Bitcoin but cryptos in general. So yeah, things are still uncertain. This is just how I view this topic, feel free to correct me, that would be much appreciated.
2934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your ultimate choice? on: July 29, 2022, 04:18:11 PM
So, guys what will be your choice from these coins and why? Any specific reason? - BCH, AXS, EOS, BTC, ETH

This is a no brainer, obviously among the given cryptocurrencies BTC and ETH are the most promising.  They have been around the market for years and had proven themselves in the market.  It terms of foundation, they have very solid foundation and many users and communities that back the project.  On the other note, BCH AXS and EOS just can't compare with the two (BTC and ETH).
Yes you are right, there is no doubt that BTC and ETH have been dominating for some time. That means in increasing their confidence so high. Actually we don't compare one with the other, because for some reason they have their own fans. It goes back to the situation where we see deeper gains every time we enter.
Big names in this industry are no surprise when it comes to coins which are more trusted by investors. However, people of this industry earns more from smaller tokens because the rate of increase are simply higher compared to huge ncryptos wherein prices are already high. But I agree to those two names, especially if you are into secured investments or less risky coins to invest. Depends also to your aim as an investor whether you'd go for high risk high reward scheme or the other way around.
2935  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon and his bag of tricks on: July 29, 2022, 01:53:32 PM
I'm happy that he has sold most of their holding and I will be looking forward to seeing him sell everything, enough of his manipulation, he will be known for his short-term growth in the bitcoin journey.

It's funny how it's always adoption when big names are buying, and it's always manipulation if they ended up selling, ain't it? Especially knowing that Tesla actually ended up lost money. It's pathetic.
Form of sugarcoating I guess? People tend to praise big names simply because they are expecting something beneficial to small investors, for an instance is 'hype' which could trigger interest to non-crypto investors, and once this assumption occur, small investors will gain from it.

On the other end, which is to huge investor's perspetive, they are somehow gaslighting their losses that it is part of their plan or such thing is normal, to simply hide the negative idea which could affect their name not only in a single industry but also in general.
2936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice from a stranger on: July 27, 2022, 04:36:23 PM
Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now? Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.
It is a 50/50 thing for me even though I wouldn't just invest in any new project just because I think I will make more from it, I could also lose everything from that investment, however, if the project is convincing and seems to have the potential, I might invest cause it is all about taking that chance, however, only 10% of my investment can go into New projects.

Investing in new projects aims to be a pioneer in the project and can reap huge profits, but with it comes the risk of losing everything.
You can invest in new projects as long as you have researched that new token and don't invest with money you can't lose in it, it's worth a try.
Today's leading projects have also gone through new project stages and the big winners are those who have trusted and accompanied the project since its inception.
I think investing in a new project is much more risky because even though we have done research first, it is still risky,
actually it's not a bad idea but indeed we need to consider many things,
most importantly always be vigilant and stay careful with new projects
Risk is always present especially in this industry. I'd say luck will also be a factor even if there are people who don't believe with its existence. Proof to this, are good projects in the past which were having a good utility and general management, or simply having 'that' potential to be a big one. But there are other projects which looks "less" compared to the big ones, which turned out to be better.

My take on this, is regarding bearish or bullish market seasons which contributes to investors' decision whether to invest or not. Another thing is popularity in any form, necessary for the project. The problem here is that no one is certain of these factors, as well as to those which are not mentioned. That is where luck might play a role in crypto projects or investments.
2937  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 27, 2022, 04:02:36 PM
After the vaccine releases, there are a lot of people that don't mind anymore with the virus because they think they are already safe but it is just lessen the risk only to get a covid and also the investors and businessmen see the potential of having an online gambling casino even though they didn't open through physical casino still they can make an earning with the adaptation of the cryptocurrency at the same time. By that the both sides satisfied the casino runs and get their earnings and the players satisfied themselves to play gambling

Yes that's true, i see gambling as the only aspect that should have less effects of the covid 19 pandemic because it has no barriers to the administration of how users can play or enjoy it, during the lockdown period, the internet was not locked down, virtual and digital economy continue it runnings, and this is of big advantage for some of the digital gambling casinos, and the use of cryptocurrency in gambling preferably than fiat also id another reason they got less challenges during the Pandemic.
Well, gambling is a general term. For gambling activities such as card games and dice games, just to mention some of the popular ones, these are indeed less affected by restrictions across countries but since there's this sporta gambling, I think it would be qrong to generalize gambling as something to not be affected by the pandemic. Tournaments are not allowed in this mentioned category of gambling, which limits the fanatics of sports gambling to their enjoyment. Also, there's this 'live' feeling which excites gamblers more; betting and seeing the result of their play at first hand. So I guess the medium of payments, such as cryptocurrency as OP suggest, won't be the bottomline of the scenario, but it would quite help especially with regards to avoiding taxation and convenience ofcourse.
2938  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You should not worry about BTC price action on: July 26, 2022, 03:25:15 PM
The type of investor that will be successful is not panic when looking at the price of drops, this is precisely a good opportunity to buy at a low price, I'm sure many are sorry not to buy bitcoin when the price is $ 19k and now the price is more than $ 23k and I'm sure tomorrow or The day after tomorrow the price of Bitcoin will reach $ 25K, so it's not too late if we immediately buy and get a price of $ 23K.
Those who are worried because of the bear market simply shows how aware they are with their investments. It is not always focused to who are the ones who can ignore the market situation in particular with downs, but those who would endure things. Enduring on the other hand, I believe, includes taking the 'damage' of their actions. Seeing how low the market is getting, would normally sadden investors, but taking the exit is surely, another thing. Allow people to panic if they do feel so, but guide them on what is best to do. It won't always be being optimistic 'coz that would make an individual delusional in some way. We are talking about investments and positive and negative sides are always expected.
2939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoin sell. price 15300$ on: July 26, 2022, 02:00:59 PM
Could you also specify the reason for selling it so cheaper than the current market rates? Also this is your first post and you are talking about lots of btc ,hope you dont end up scamming any innocent one!
Probably a scam attempt. Better for everyone to avoid this scam attempt or coin that has been used for illegally activity.
Quite fishy I guess, but not to throw accusation but to be someone who holds such amount of BTC and to sell it like something of an object or property seems odd. There are lots of exchangers to sell it so why would someone sell it on a bargain? I do agree that it COULD be a scheme, but I doubt there will be people 'buying' this idea especially at this point wherein situation is touch to most of us.

But if ever this one would be real, I guess those who would be able to risk for this transaction will definitely earn, so I do hope that it won't be turned out as one of the 'scam issues' in this forum. So yeah, better be careful.
2940  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: August 31, 2021, 11:53:38 PM
Acquiring both Bitcoin and Altcoins are beneficial instead of focusing into just one crypto which is Bitcoin. Instead of focusing your budget allocation into one, why not diversify it, assuring that the altcoins you would choose are worthy for investment and for long term purposes. Bitcoin is already given to be a good crypto since many people are really wanting to own even a part of it for good. Having Altcoins on the other hand gives you vast opportunities of acquiring profit from different sources since they do have different market behavior and are potential for growth if you would be having those good altcoins.
