What is the cheapest thing you have for sale, just out of curiosity?
I do have 10 7x Original Casascius 5btc blanks that were going to go on Ebay at £50 each. They are still in the blue tape Mike wrapped them in. I also have 10x Gold-plate commemorative coins (including capsules) - £60/lot, + 8x Copper commemorative coins £50/lot. Including standard postage. Im not interested in splitting these into smaller lots. Sorry. Above coins are in pics. Tell me more about the blanks. Do you have photos of them by themselves? How much do you want for each lot? Sorry loopgate. Im not able to put my hands on what i have left (about x5 coins), right now. If and when i do, i would probably want 0.1BTC (delivered) for one of these 5BTC blanks.....which probably means i will keep them! Blanks with Key? I think i still have a sheet of keys, that Mike used to send out. Yes, they could be sold with the coin, but again, im not near where they are stored, currently. |

Seems like an interesting thread and project. In a tdlr what is up with people screaming scam?
The guy screaming scam the loudest, is having financial difficulties. The HEAT launch has been delayed, so he is mad that his 0.1126BTC investment is locked up. Probably running a tab, and got over extended at his school tuck shop, or somethingorother. Probably should stay away from those soft drinks for a while, me thinks. Ive heard those E numbers can make children, a bit over anxious. |

Seems like an overly complicated way to store/mint bitcoins.... 22 pages of how to use a physical bitcoin and redeem it on your phone??? Just print a paper wallet / DIY private/public combo... All 6 "selling points" of this "Satoshium" are fulfilled by this. Read it now. Yep. Far too many skips and hops to achieve something that should be done with very little effort. I actually found it hard to get past... "We believe that to become mainstream as a worldwide transaction and savings medium, Bitcoin must be physical." Just no. |

Will Komodo start absorbing BTCD's value?

I don't think KMD will absorb BTCD, the price will be independent of each other, just like NXT and Ardor tokens. The price of BTCD may drop with time since there won't be any real development behind it. I dont think it would drop at all. BTCD's value is set and convertible at that price to KMD within the next year. You cannot convert NXT to Ardor at a set price which is why the price changes. So the real question is who is wanting to sell BTCD at lower than market value. After the swap period is done then i can see it falling. this means that you could buy KMD at cheaper price the next month. It would not be better a variable rate, not a fixed rate? Shouldnt the question be..... whats the point of btcd dropping after the swap? a dying currency token no more supported? BTCD is now an arbitrage vehicle, which should, have a self sustaining relationship with KMD, for the next year. The only support it will need, is the kind to maintain the integrity of the blockchain. |

At least it brings some kind of closure, just like when the body of a missing person is found, I guess? Not... But yeah, lesson learnt, as for the coins I wrote them off a long time ago. BTW Burnside, when are you writing a book about the BTC-TC experience? Of all the legendary figures, you seem to be an exception (i.e. no exit scam) Every time i have a RL conversation with a fellow non-newbie Bitcoiner, this is always mentioned. Why is Kraken still using this antiquated auto-refresh system? And why, in 2017, do i have to normally wait for around 10secs to get the feedback/notification of an order execution? I say 'normally', because Kraken's utterly annoying 'timed out' order page (whats the logic of an order page that needs manually refreshing after 10 mins, anyway?), means that a manual refresh often results in a blank page hang, that lasts for up to a minute sometimes. Waiting for a page to load, while you are FOMOing in or out of an order, is just unacceptable. Very close to un-tradable, for me.  Over a week now, with no reply from my support ticket, apart from an email 4 days ago, to say that they are having problems answering support tickets! And no response from Drago, as well. Youve become a victim of the high seas of 'success', Kraken. Let me know when the whole-sale change to your GUI and operations happens. Only then, will i consider using your awful and pathetic exchange again. Sorry to hear you have been having so much trouble. If you are still waiting to hear back on your support ticket, please PM the ticket number to me and I can ask support to get back to you. There won't be a single whole-sale change but rather a series of upgrades including a new UI and upgraded trade engine. The new UI will come first but I don't have an ETA at this time. Still not had a reply from support. I assume the wave of support tickets you recently had, were having similar problems. If the changes noted above do indeed happen, thats better than an answer, support are not able (or willing to, in this case) to defend.
