Is DAG somehow limited in size, or someone can make billions of transactions and bloat it? Please read the OP: The fees paid for storing one’s transactions (or any other data) in the Byteball database are equal to the size of the data being stored. If the size of your transaction data is 500 bytes, you pay exactly 500 bytes (the native currency of Byteball) in fees. So what? With a fee of 50$ someone can make DAG twice as big overnight? With a fee 500$ can make it 10 gb more? There is people who can do this just for fun. Is there some prunning mechanism what will allow to cut old transactions from database? There isn't. I'm pointing this out for a long time but nobody is listening. Byteball has the same scalability problem like any other blockchain with adjustable blocksize limit. Database grows indefinitely and hardware and bandwith are the limiting factors. Moreover if somebody wants to attack byteball by sending huge data to the database it''s pretty easy and cheap at the current price. 8 years old Bitcoin blockchain nears 100 GB and you can make byteball database that big in 1 day for just $6700. Why is it necessary to keep entire DAG on every node? This is the evident scalability flaw. Why not to make a snapshot every so often which fixes all unspent balances and archive all previous transactions? |

There is no function in the wallet yet but it's already on the to-do list. I've heard it is possible to delete the entries from the SQLite database, if you're familiar with sql. Look for a table with name "devices" (or similar). And we need a cancel order feature for exchange bot too. |

Bad witnesses can be replaced. With Bitshares' DPoS (also in Steem), the whales can vote in new witnesses at any time, so it can't get stuck unless the whales decide to destroy it.
Same with byteball, only replacement mechanism is different. |

It does not matter if it is 51% or 33% or 73.5% vulnerability, it is still vulnerability, but not a flaw. A flaw would be something which prevents the network from being used. 51% vulnerability does not prevent bitcoin from being used, it just puts a limit on how secure it is. Same goes with any other consensus algorithm. A lack of security at all would be a flaw.

One of the main flaws of Byteball that you should be aware of besides the messed up transaction fees and distribution, is that the consensus of the blockchain can become entirely stuck if > 50% of the witnesses collude or stop functioning. This is not a flaw, this is a limitation, just like bitcoin 51% vulnerability. Every consensus algorithm has this kind of limitation, nevertheless some of them are working for years without any fault. |

So, in Windows XP 64-bit is cyclical synchronization. Once loaded onto the DAG 100% reset to 0% and all the repeats.
Synchronization continues from where it was left, it just resets the counter. |
