Scotland vs Ukraine is now getting closer, only a couple of weeks for it to start(June 1st). It's probably going to be an interesting game to watch, not sure who will end up winning though. Who do you think will win in Glasgow?

Bookmakers give a clear preference to the Wales team, but in my opinion they greatly underestimate Ukraine:

1,72 - 3,50 - 4,35

Probably Wales is really the favorite in this match due to the home game and some other factors, but these are teams of about the same level and in my opinion it is wrong to give such a strong difference in odds. Maybe it's because of the ongoing war? But does it have such a big impact on the Ukrainian national team, most of whose players play abroad?

What happened in Qatar is modern day slavery. It's sad that the cost of this world cup was people's lives. I really can't blame Sepp Blatter because he was only been fair to the Arab nations and in the bid of developing the game in those affiliated countries, the world cup has to be awarded to Qatar. I think the US and most European countries were angry because the world cup didn't favour them this time around. 

Being from India, I have heard about horror stories told by people who have been to countries such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Tens of millions of expats work in these countries and the treatment varies from one employer to the next. Tens of thousands of such employees vanish all of a sudden, with their family members unable to find out what happened to them. And in most cases, these individuals are listed as "missing" rather than dead, and therefore no monetary compensation is being paid to the family.

And do you have any proof of that?  or are you just saying a story that you heard from someone else who had that from someone else also? 

People go to these countries to find a job because these countries offer opportunities for those people who are hardworking. I know very well that some owners are almost always behaving very badly with the workers. But that is not the case everywhere. 

I really think in these first world countries, if people go missing, there are laws about it and the police force also does their work very well. well at least better than India in my opinion.

But again, when it comes to human rights, GCC nations (without any exception) doesn't have a good record. As far as I know, those countries are a lot fond of ease. I know that they sometimes refuse to do certain works that are their duty to complete. And they are also a lot of cases where a lot of people try to go to those countries illegally. Because of that, a lot of people get in trouble and fall victim to human trafficking. 

To be honest I am not trying to defend which is quite evident for those countries. I am trying to state some facts which are true. I believe what happened with your friend is absolutely horrible and that case should have had a proper explanation. there is no avoiding this fact also.

It is really frustrating. World cup is really close and we don't even know which are the teams that will qualify. I am not just talking about the playoff in UEFA (Scotland / Wales / Ukraine). We need to wait until next month to find out who is going to qualify from the two Inter-confederation play-offs. The match between Costa Rica and New Zealand is scheduled on 14th June. And a day before that we have the other playoff in which Peru will face the 4th placed team from AFC. LOL.. and we don't know for yet who will be the 4th placed team from AFC.

I personally think that Ukraine will win, because they’ll be keen to make a statement for all the people back at home who’re in the middle of the war and what better way to do that then by winning this match, and further I believe that they’ll be able to beat Wales and qualify for the World Cup too. However it’s quiet possible that they maybe emotionally distracted and may not perform to their usual standards, but I’ll yet put my faith in them and I hope that they beat Scotland and Wales.

The number of 6000 deaths for building the stadiums is pretty high and I believe that most of such deaths result from staying from prolonged hours in the sun,the government could have opted to work in the late afternoon or at night to build the stadiums and I think those would have been built even sooner with much less casualties like these ones.

I also know a personal case,a friend of mine that the Arabic countries in general treat the immigrants like shit in the true meaning of the word,he now has left Saudi Arabia and is in Malta which he claims to have found paradise there compared to these countries.

The play off match between ukraine vs scotland has now got a definite schedule, after being postponed due to the war between russia and ukraine now the match has officially been played on june 1 later, with only one ticket left for qatar will certainly make the match later it will be quite fierce, without reducing respect for ukraine but I personally tend to prefer scotland to be able to qualify and meet wales in the final play off.

The Qatar world cup will take place on November 21, and there are already 32 teams participating in this 4th annual competition, it is a pity that Mohammad was wrong to not get a ticket to the Qatar world cup, because he was defeated by Senegal in the play offs, in this year's cup I I will place a bet for England, even though England have never lifted the world cup trophy, but I will still place a bet for England.

But now we have to wait and still wait a long time to see which team is going to qualify. I am actually really hopeful about Wales because I don't see Gareth Bale playing well in the Real Madrid squad, and I hope that he is preparing himself for the world cup.

I don't think Ukraine is going to win. it is one thing to have emotional support for a team and absolutely another thing to look at it practically.  the country is going through a  war right now and it is obviously not their first priority to win in the FIFA World Cup. I always think that they will surely try to make a statement for the whole world to see but that is going to be really hard to do.

alot thing take due this decision, maybe it postponed due some reason  but we believe everything will clear before match started. since War between Rusian and Ukranian it bring alot negative effect in sport ,we see alot request from countries to delete rusian participation and another negative effect. hopefull final round will running without any problem

I also think that players motivation will be bigger and although they know what their country is going through,this will even motivate them further to give a really good game against Scotland and winning it.I think between Ukraine and Scotland is difficult to predict who will qualify further as both teams are very balanced in quality if we compare them to each other.Most likely this game will end in a draw or win for Ukraine.

Well, the match will be played in Hampden Park in Glasgow, so Scotland has the advantage of playing at home. I would say these two teams are very similar in terms of skill, so factors like playing at home would probably tilt the scale towards Scotland. But you never know, maybe the people at the stadium start supporting Ukraine, and they end up winning, just like Eurovision
