Bitcoin. La volatilidad de Bitcoin. La calificarias como ventaja o desventaja?

Personalmente  me encanta tanta volatilidad!! Cheesy

604  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Capitalización de Bitcoin 100b/$ on: August 28, 2019, 11:24:59 PM

607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One week in Bitcoin July 2019 on: July 13, 2019, 09:23:10 PM
Press coverage isn't something new for Bitcoin, also the coverage that has been getting last week were negative, hope true bitcoin believers don't fall in this FUD, Also the bitcoins bag from the bankers and the latest tweets from Donal Trump it's surely boosting bitcoin to the mainstream via social media, I can't believe the price is such low right now.

609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Creating more bitcoin on: July 11, 2019, 08:43:48 PM
Is there anything to stop the core devs saying we want unlimited bitcoin and changing the code to allow it.  I mean, 21 million isn't much.  Smiley

that is against the Bitcoin protocol and the Whitepaper itself, obviously, Everybody who believes in BTC as a new SoV won't let anyone create more than 21M BTC, if you want to have something like bitcoin but with more units, you can freely use shitcoins.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Move up 25 -30x Faster Than Gold Says, Max Keiser on: July 10, 2019, 10:53:13 PM
Most popular faces of Crypto industry are regularly posting their views on the king coin.

One of the well-known crypto enthusiast and Co-founder of  Heisenberg Capital, Max Keiser believes Bitcoin price will move 25 -30 times faster to the upside than Gold.

What's your take on this, will bitcoin price increase?

Bitcoin has been always faster in price movement than gold, just look what has happened before, or look this year, the Gold price hasn't moved a lot since the start of 2019 but bitcoin price is around 12K this is like 250% in a year!
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I've taken my eye off bounty hunters comments on: July 10, 2019, 12:53:06 AM
I think doing bounties for ICOS in 2019 is a complete waste of time, who would invest in an ICO when there are too many launchpads out there I think ICO business model is dead.

Move on a try to learn new skills if you want to make a decent income in 2019, and invest your profits on crypto, if you really care about yourself you would be learning how to choose great projects to invest instead of wanting free money.

Think for a moment, if somebody will give you money to push a button what will make you special between others?
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WeChat and Crypto on: July 10, 2019, 12:42:04 AM
when many large industries accept crypto, such as Facebook, Twitter, Samaung, Whatsapp.  but other applications like WeChat choose to ban users from crypto trading.  I see WeChat's decision will have a negative impact on the value of their quantity.  because the world today is very enthusiastic about the crypto world.you can see this source https://www.coindesk.com/messaging-giant-wechat-bans-merchant-users-from-crypto-trading

That's really sad.. I can't imagine what will happen with the ads in LocalBTC for Yuan, recently I was searching to buy some BTC using wechat. it had really great prices it's really sad that the govt of China always want to protect their interest.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can u send fake transactions in bitcoin ? on: July 10, 2019, 12:34:09 AM
You wouldn't be asking this question on this forum if it was possible. It wouldn't exist any more as no one would trust Bitcoin any more.

The prime reason it took off in the first place is the way it managed to completely extinguish all doubt about the validity of a transaction. Without that Bitcoin has zero value.

A 'fake' transaction cannot be broadcast, let alone mined and would never reach another wallet nor would it be sendable in the first place. Every aspect of Bitcoin's design squashes the possibility flat.

what about making a transaction that will appear then will never be confirmed

You'll just be ignored completely. It will never appear anywhere.

He obviously doesn't know how the Bitcoin protocol works...
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: cryptocurrence progressing in poor African countries full of wars? on: June 29, 2019, 09:21:55 PM
how are poor African countries with wars benefit in cryptocurrecy system or blockchain tecnology ?

Crypto It's an easy way to carry your wealth to other countries without any complications.

Now imagine choosing gold over crypto, it's easy to spot anyone carrying gold, but it's hard to tell if you own cryptocurrencies and also, most people in Africa are unbanked, being honest there aren't too many options to protect your wealth in Africa
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Youtube bitcoin advertisements everywhere. on: June 28, 2019, 12:57:45 AM
I see bitcoin advertisements on youtube vids, everywhere. Definitely a good sign

Prepare for a new ath, ones bitcoin reaches a new ath the media reports on the ath will push it to like 25-30k.

Screen below

That's great Google and Youtube are doing a great job with those ads, filtering spam, scams and only promoting legit businesses but Instagram/Facebook which is a better platform for advertisement cannot publish ads because they don't know how to handle with bad actors.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cash out after having investment trippled in bitcoin! on: June 27, 2019, 08:51:19 PM
My brother had invested in bitcoin where market price has down to 3K usd. Seeing the current market and the needs arisea, my brother had cash out already and I am not surprise that he trippled his money investment. Good for.him but I think it must be hold still if I were on his side. The only problem is that I am not control of his money and seeing him profited in bitcoin makes me regret why I am.not investing and risking money during the bear market.

Who among you here does not hold btc anymore and afraid of investing to bitcoin? Did you regret of not investing on bitcoin too?

I'm not afraid of investing on Bitcoin.. but I'm run out cash! so good for your brother tripled its investment. have you asked him if he is waiting for Bitcoin below the current prices to buy?

618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage and misaligned expectations on: June 23, 2019, 07:29:00 AM
I guess everything does make sense though, considering the fact that we're looking into off-chain solutions for scaling. I just thought that the game plan was always to keep on-chain transactions relatively cheap (i.e. still very viable for people who prefer on-chain transactions), though that does defeat the purpose of trying to move bulk of the transactions off-chain.

as for second layer, in order for it to work the underlying layer (meaning the on-chain transactions) need to be cheap otherwise nobody can open up a channel if it costs $50 to do so.

What constitutes "cheap"?

Once we establish that, I guess we can talk about the economic implications and how it affects the design. I strongly believe that the sustainability of the system has to be the top priority, much more important than cheap fees.

All manner of economic and scaling designs should be tested. If cheap fees (with regard to "the masses") are truly important, there's an abundance of Bitcoin copycats with bigger blocks and cheaper fees. I suspect that Bitcoin's value stems from elsewhere than cheap fees though, and that there will be strong demand for Bitcoin's block space even at orders of magnitude higher fees than seen today.

It's hard to talk about the economics of the system when everybody is focusing on cheap fees or looking at the price.

I agree with you, sustainability is the top matter on Bitcoin, just look what happened with this bear market it lasted only 522 days and a lot of retailers stopped mining bitcoin.

That could lead to losing our byzantine fault tolerance, thank god that didn't happen, but what could happen in a different scenario with less reward per block?

619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC and Gold? on: June 23, 2019, 06:42:09 AM
Will bitcoin replace gold? I ask myself. Well, so far there are no such forecasts. People base on the statements they have read somewhere or saw on TV but not on own minds
Now everyone is betting whether Bitcoin reaches 10000. I bet that it will take a couple of months to do it. Well, back to the previous position? I admit that can go to 10,000, but not more.

Couple months? lol Bitcoin will kill every bear left! check its last movements, they're almost exactly on weekends, regulated players are being destroyed when they entry on short positions.

10700$

While Peter Schiff keep talking about bitcoin being in a sucker rally, the gold price is $1399, if you don't know who is Peter Schiff don't worry below, you can find who is he, and why it's so important for gold and bitcoin.
