361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] STUFFGOGO - P2P Mobile Marketplace | Token Sale Ended | Thank you!!! on: November 18, 2017, 08:34:02 AM
Hitbtc may be a good exchange to start but for longer term you have to go for a better one, then why not try for the better one right now. I guess cryptopia is leading right now for new and sustainable coins

Yes, cryptopia is a good choice. Anyway you can already trade SGG on Etherdelta in the meanwhile.

This project is dead? i dont see any activity from dev here

They don't care about here and they don't care about the project. They collected money and ran away. They probably went on holiday in 5th different place already. They had no intention to make a mobile marketplace.

I'm afraid you're right.  I guess this is one of the ICO's I invested in that turned out a scam (without profit, you have scams which you can profit from too).  I guess you win some, you lose some.  Hope nobody got wrecked with a lot of funds on this one. No biggie for me though  Smiley

We gotta wait and have faith. We can do nothing more than this. It's useless to sell all our tokens now that its price is so low. Better to wait and have faith in not having invested in a scam.
I really hope this project won't end in a scam because it looks very good and it can turn out to be a killer app, used by millions of people all over the world.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 15, 2017, 04:01:52 PM
wait and see. I think that people invest again in Bch. because it's not about btc, it's about making money

Sure. There are lots of investors and whales preparing for the next pump. Even if BCH has not the power to overcome BTC, it's sure its price will remain high and lots of profits can still be done.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves hold for longterm Good or Not? on: November 15, 2017, 03:56:07 PM
Dear friends,

I have 2 BTC - it's all my money.
Should i buy and hold Waves coin for longterm (end of 2017)
Thank you so much

Your post leads me to do some considerations:

1. If all your money is 2 BTC, I'd suggest to just hold those 2 Bitcoins and focus on earning something more. Once you will have earned other money, you will start considering investing in altcoins too. As long as you have just 2 Bitcoins, I suggest you to not spend/invest them and just hold.
2. Waves is a very good project, one of the best coming out in this crazy crypto-world. There are lots of silly project out there and Waves is among the most useful and important ones. Sasha is a very good developer and I'm buying some.
I already expressed positive opinion about Waves here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2375149.msg24611552#msg24611552
Said that, cryptocurrencies investments are very risky, so I'd suggest you to take into account the risks you have investing in ANY blockchain project (even Bitcoin!).
3. If you ask people which coin to buy, most of the replies will advice you to buy what they have. Once you (and other people) buy such coins, their price will rise and users who reply you will get profits. So it's pretty useless to ask for advices in my opinion. Better to do your own due diligence and research as much infos as possible before putting your hard earned money into an investment.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] STUFFGOGO - P2P Mobile Marketplace | Token Sale Ended | Thank you!!! on: November 15, 2017, 08:55:12 AM
This project is dead? i dont see any activity from dev here

I think and hope this project is not dead. It would be a shame if a such interesting project will end this way. Maybe they are just working hard on their platform and thus don't have the time to communicate with us.

For sure they are lacking marketing and communication. StuffGoGo main dev (the one who started this thread) has not been active on this forum for a month. Their facebook and twitter accounts have not been updated for a while and also their website is very basic. Do anyone follow them on telegram/slack? Maybe they are more active on these channels...
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [RCC] Reality Clash - First ARG Mobile Game with ERC-20 Armory on: November 15, 2017, 08:42:58 AM
Decentralised exchanges are great since they are a lot safer than centralised exchanges.

I lost money on mintpal and cryptsy when they went down. So I have little faith in any 'big' exchange.  Sad

Why are people desperate for RCC to be listed on big exchanges? Just because they think price will automatically rise?
Reality clash team promised to make a game and needed money to finish development. They sold RCC for use in the game or on their trading platform. There seems to be so many people worrying about being on coinmarketcap website or bittrex/binance - like this is the biggest thing to happen?! Does everyone believe that getting added to an exchange means this adds real value? Because it doesn't. It is just another place to buy or sell.

I would rather the team spent money on developing and marketing the game, instead of paying any listing fee to exchange. If Reality Clash begins to get popular, big exchanges will add it if they want to.

This is a game project, not a project to pump the price of RCC.

As a gamer and a fan of blockchain/crypto, i'm glad to see an actual utility token with a real development team who are doing something but still sad to see many "when moon?" "when big exchange" "why price below ICO" posts.

We should wait until the trading platform is launched, then get more excited about RCC. But surely the true value of RCC is only shown when the game is launched? All investors should understand this right?

I totally agree with your point of view. Here on bitcointalk is full of selfish people who just want to see token price increase in the short term, to get quick profits. I think it would be better if such people don't invest in serious project like Reality Clash. They better move to join pump and dump groups or 'invest' in ponzi websites.

RCC is for the long term and maybe to use for the game itself. Not to get quick profits.

I think Reality Clash is among the most interesting project coming out this year and I think, as soon as Reality Clash app will be available to download (maybe Q3 2018), many people all over the world will start to play this exciting game.
I joined their bounty campaign and invested in the ICO as well because I really believe in this project over the long term, not to get quick profits.

Before joining it, I researched every team member on google to get informations about them. Tony Pearce is the founder and CEO of great companies like TeePee Games and Player X. He's a very skilled and experienced entrepreneur. He's a 'big name' in gaming industry. Thus I'm pretty confident his new project (Reality Clash, exactly) will gain huge popularity among gamers.

Yet if you just wanna trade RCC tokens, well you can go on etherdelta. It's a very good decentralized platform which has nice volumes as well. Do day trade or whatever you like on etherdelta...
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple: A long term investment or short term? on: November 15, 2017, 08:29:08 AM
If you look at the charts, aside the pump it had last Spring/Summer XRP coin has a quite stable price. So you won't gain so much in the short term. But in the long term too I think XRP price won't ever be very high, because its supply is too high and if a coin is not scarce, its price will be forever low.
So if you look for very high returns in a short period of time get way from XRP.

Also, consider Ripple is backed by banks and XRP coins are basically premined. There's no actual decentralization and some experts don't even consider XRP a 'true' cryptocoin. I never invested in it and never will.
Yet, if you like Ripple project and wanna buy some XRP, do you own due diligence, take the time to study and research and feel free to not follow my opinions. Money is yours and you can do whatever you want with it  Tongue
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will kill Ethereum? on: November 15, 2017, 08:19:24 AM
I really like Waves project as well. It has lots of interesting features, its developers team is very serious and competent and also they have a decentralized exchange built in their platform that can be very useful and interesting for lots of people all over the world.
Compared to Ethereum, I, personally, prefer Waves over Ethereum, because I think Waves has more features and it's more user-friendly as well, not only for experienced developers but for noobs as well.
I think Waves price won't become as high as ETH, at least in the short term. It won't kill Ethereum too. Both platform can be used for different purposes and by different people. They can co-exist and there's no need to exclude one instead of the another one.

What Waves has been missing so far is a good marketing strategy which Ethereum had in its early days and still have these days. For example, I found it was a very bad move to close their announcement here on bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1387944.0
Well, to be more precise, that thread was closed by a moderator, but the fact Waves devs never opened another one has been very bad for their popularity so far. Because Bitcointalk is a forum followed by millions of people all over the world and thus every coin/token/blockchain project should have its own thread on this forum, in order to gain more and more popularity...
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: “Waves-NG” - Waves to become the fastest blockchain platform in the world on: November 15, 2017, 08:09:09 AM
Yes, I really like this project and I hope this will be huge in the next months. Project is great, overall platform has lots of different interesting features and team is very competent. I think Waves future is bright.

I invested some money in it and I'm gonna buy some other coins, as long as price is so low.
Yet Waves platform can be even improved. For example its decentralized exchange has a very ugly interface, graphs are not updated in real time and placing an order is not so user-friendly. If they keep improving and development works well, as it has been so far, I'm pretty confident this project will become the next Ethereum, or even better!
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have 15 BTC worth of ALT coins, what would you do ? on: November 15, 2017, 08:03:52 AM
I don't understand why you wanna change your strategy if it has been so profitable so far...
Anyway, if you want my opinion I find it easier to focus on less coins (at most 14-15), including BTC, ETH and their forked coins (so BCH and ETC too). Then I'd say to set a target price when you are comfortable to sell, a price that you think it's enough to sell a particular coin. So for example if you think 'WAVES' price won't go over 7$, as soon as it hits such price, sell it. Then don't have regret about it, even if price keep rising.

Also, can you tell us where do you store all those coins? Do you use their own official wallets, multicoin wallets or exchanges?
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SAFEST ALTCOINS TO INVEST IN? on: November 13, 2017, 07:51:29 AM
I think there's nothing safe in this crazy crypto-world! Almost every coin/token has huge volatility and so you can lose high amount of money investing in it. It's a very risky market.
Yet there are coins which look more stable than others, for example ETH. Also you can look at Minexcoin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1847292.0) since this project has its main goal to have low volatility and gradual growth over the long term.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash replace Bitcoin?? on: November 13, 2017, 07:47:43 AM
It looks BCH pump is already over, while BTC is starting to rise again. Yet BCH will be quite high for a while, so this cannot be ignored. I think BCH will be in the top 5 for a long period of time and many investors will keep on buying it. It has not the power to replace BTC, though...
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT is Happening with BCH?? on: November 13, 2017, 07:44:48 AM
I've found a post that seems to explain it well enough. Bithumb allows 0-fee transactions, so they've just sold BCH to themselves.

The majority of the trading volume is taking place at Bithumb (Korean exchange).
Therefore the whole price discovery is highly manipulated, because Bithumb
offers account without fees and vouchers that enable zero fee trading.

This enables rampant wash trading by allowing you to buy and sell your own orders without
incurring any fees!

And the week-end is over, the pump too. BCH is at 0.2BTC now. I'm curious how many got burned during the week-end..

This is a very good explanation! Freaking Koreans!

The pump looks over right now, but the price is still high. BCH gained lots of attention in the past few days so my guess is that price will still be quite high for a while...not enough to overcome BTC, of course!
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone in Bitconnect? Scam coin? on: November 10, 2017, 10:01:52 PM
Yes, it looks like a ponzi scheme. I don't invest in it!
Pretty weird its price is so high and it's always on top 20. I hope this bullshit will end soon and people won't lose too much money when it ends....
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is bitcoin cash the new real bitcoin? time to buy? on: November 10, 2017, 09:59:21 PM
Will bitcoin cash really replace bitcoin? will it rise to bitcoins value of 7000 and more?

Bitcoin Cash is basically at its all time high, so it's not so wise to buy now because it is having just a temporary pump.
It may be wise to buy later on, when price will go down again to 400-500$. I think BCH won't overcome BTC, but it may still be a good ivestment though... because it will last on top 10 and price will be one the altcoins' highest along with DASH, ETH and Bitcoinnect.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: November 10, 2017, 09:55:54 PM
The attempt to replace BTC with BCH is self destructive. Trust in Crypto would be set back by years.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.msg24367898#msg24367898

If you want so save Crypto, dump your BCH and buy BTC. Smiley

I disagree with your point of view and instead I think it is wise to have both. BCH won't overcome BTC but it will last as a high-priced coin, so it is a profitable investment btw...
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for the Bitcoin Cash Pump!! on: November 10, 2017, 09:52:36 PM
I agree with Patatas. Bitcoin Cash and will forever remain an altcoin. BTC is the leader and will be. This is just a temporary pump, meanwhile BTC price is having a correction.
Anyway, I disagree with your choice of not investing in BCH at all. It's true that BCH will never overcome BTC, but it can be a good a profitable altcoin though. So better to have anyway...
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (Exchange launch - November, 1) on: November 10, 2017, 09:38:18 PM
Minexcoin is the best performer on CoinMarketCap today!!!

Price is rising and I think it's just the beginning! I'm very very confident about this project  Grin
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had 15 Ether, where would you invest for the long term Today on: November 08, 2017, 07:47:19 AM
So you wanna invest all of 15 ETH? I think it's not a good choice, I suggest you to hold at least 12-13 ETH and invest only 2-3 of them. On which coin/token? It depends on you. Look the charts, research for team and project and choice the coin/token that you like the most. You may diversify and not invest 2-3 ETH on a single coin/token...
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token to be hold in 2018 on: November 08, 2017, 07:44:40 AM
As ETH-based tokens I'm holding Omisego, Mysterium and Reality Clash. I partecipated in Reality Clash signature campaign and they paid very well. Also, they are developing a killer app for smartphone that is able to conquer the market. I expect it to be the next big thing...
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES SPECULATION on: November 08, 2017, 07:42:30 AM
In my opinion Waves provides a very good project, where you can create tokens, trade on a decentralized exchange and has lots of other useful features. It's pretty strange price is so low. I expect it to grow very much in 2018.
