With the ICO's conclusion we would like to say a very big thank you to those who have chosen to support the Jewels project which will allow it to become a great success!
Right now I am working with Chris to prepare the Apex website to allow for withdrawal of Jewels. While this may not be ready today, once it is we will be uploading the wallets source code to github, posting it publicly allowing everyone to download or compile desktop wallets and then reaching out to Bittrex and 1ex notifying them that the ICO has concluded and the source to our coin is now publicly available. Our plan as it currently stands is to continue discussions with Bittrex and have that be our first major listing.
If anyone has any questions feel free to either post or reach out on Slack as I'll be available all day.

BTW why use a separate blockchain and not tokens like Spells of Genesis that are easier to manage from a generic Omni or Counterparty wallet? Is it to allow inflation via staking? If that's the reason, what would make inflation necessary here while it's not for SoG's BitCrystals?

https://bitshares.openledger.infoThere are many platforms where assets can be registered and traded: BitShares, NXT, Ripple, (someday maybe) Waves, Ethereum, Omni and Counterparty.
But so far, the most widely used in the altcoin world are Omni (MAID, AMP, AGRS, ) and Counterparty (BCY + SoG cards, SJCX), and since they are widely used every exchange support them already and can trivially add support for a new asset, which also means that a new coin implemented as an Omni or Counterparty token will probably have less difficulty convincing an exchange to list them. It's also easier to get listed on coinmarketcap since all they need to do is track the asset on any Omni or Counterparty block explorer they already support.
Id like to hear a reply to that too.
From my analysis of CMC, getting listed on any exchange (even the smaller ones) will effectively allow CMC to list you.
With that said, there are 2 key reasons that we went the route we did which is the PoS factor which gives people a slight reward for continuing to hold their coins albeit this is
not a required thing as shown by BCY. The other reason is many of the less established exchanges, take Yobit for example do not support listing NXT, BTS, etc. assets. Now Bittrex and Poloniex on the other hand are a different story and we can clearly see they have listed assets before. In the unfortunate scenario where the crowdfund didn't raise as much as it did, suppose it only raised 100 BTC or even 50 BTC it would be far more difficult to get listed on the higher tier exchanges as based off our current discussions with Bittrex it's far from as simple as "here's 3 BTC sir, can you now list us," where as with say Yobit it is that simple. It's clear both Bittrex and Poloniex hand pick what projects to add and require said projects demonstrate credability over time before adding them.
All in all what I'm saying is if we were in a position at the end of the ICO where getting listed on a tier 1 exchange seemed unlikely, we needed to be able to be easily listed on one of the other exchanges. Given that our coin is simply a clone of an existing PoS coin with minor modifications, it's not of great difficulty for any exchange to add it as it follows the pretty much exact same RPC api that Bitcoin uses.
i believe it costs 3btc to get listed on bittrex with spotlight (or 5). with the ico funds, i'm sure dev team can fork out that in exchange for a liquid tradable market for JWL on a reliable platform run by 2 security experts.
OP you might want to consider this..
Imo you don't need to actively pursue getting on any of the smaller exchanges like yobit, 1ex or coinexchange. ( they will have much lesser - less than 1-5% - of liquidity on bittrex ). Just focus on listing on Bittrex and everything should work out fine. Continue to do a good job developing the platform and managing the coin and community , and you'll eventually end up on Polo too.

Now to some serious talk. I think Chris will need any help he can take so when the Heroes start if someone has some writing skills / marketing skills / graphic skills ... I don't think he would mind - if you invested it's in your best interest to help and get the word out.
Some themes on how we can help:
I have already created a simple banner if someone has somewhere to put it it would be great.
- Blog posts (Steemit, Medium, Reddit, MMORPG boards/forums, ... ) can help when Heroes launch.
- Google "Top conquer online servers" - we should get it listed on pretty much every web listing website.
- Someone has some gaming Twitter / Facebook accounts ? Don't forget to post / tweet
- Do we maybe have a Chinese speaker here who can help market new server to Chinese players or translate a few of unique features of new server and try to spread the word?
Remember we are family now and working together will help our investment grow be it a 0.01 BTC investment or 1 BTC investment it does not matter each one of you counts - that can double, triple and even more in a very short of time with a little contribution, remember 96 different deposit account on Apex ICO that means 90+ different people invested. A lot of potential skills, diversity to help! Someone might say well Chris has a lot of BTC for all of that. Yeah that is correct, but I think focus for that BTC should be on developing gambling games and project Rebirth - he will have a plenty of work ahead.

Just for the record, I wouldn't worry too much about the 'top conquer online servers' a lot of those websites (as well as for other games like WoW) utilize bot services, or even pay people very low wages to vote for them to get their numbers up. Most people within the private server communities don't take them very seriously.
