Missed us this week at the Beyond Bitcoin hangout? You can check out the recording here: Chris on Conquer Heroes and its updates: https://youtu.be/1xHTTRpUNQM&t=1h2m27sRoy on Jewels and its various roles within Conquer Heroes: https://youtu.be/1xHTTRpUNQM?t=1h20m39sWe primarily talk about our successful launch of Conquer Heroes and our plans going forward relating to both Conquer Heroes and Rebirth. To emphasize on a particular point Conquer Heroes acts almost as a sandbox allowing us to test various ideas to see how doing certain things with Jewels will affect the in-game economy and how both players and investors respond to certain content or additions to the system. Based on the knowledge as we start to see what is successful and what is not in terms of using Jewels in Conquer Heroes we will better be able to make decisions going forward with Rebirth.

After some delays we're finally ready to launch the Conquer Heroes in-game shop. Player have already had the ability and have been to be purchasing JWL and items from our website http://conquerheroes.com but now will be able to purchase JWL and items directly and easily within the client itself! We've also been preparing for our steps moving forward in terms of development and have added two other teammates publicly to our roster visible at http://jewelsproject.com under team. Adel is a developer specializing in reverse engineering and C++ development and has previously worked with Chris on the development of the client security and protection for Apex and will continue working with us going forward on projects such as Heroes. We've also brought on a Iftakharul a statistical analyst who will be acting as a consultant for us going forward as we develop new games and features which will require us to rigorously test our math and implementations to ensure we're not doing anything crazy. Also, shout out to Cereal Guy.

As always, if you miss the hang out there will be a recording posted within a few days after but we encourage our community to join us and interact by asking questions!
See you there.

That's ugly! But thanks. I guess I see no reason why looks should matter when it's the data specifically in this case people care about.

At the moment CMC is not giving JWL a valuation/ranking because they don't know what the available supply is. (I think it's 18 million available) so if someone from the team could let Gliss know at some point https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=199685.4700 (Also with a link to this announcement thread.) Many traders only notice new crypto projects when they're valued on CMC & it's also where crypto projects get most new traffic so a great free marketing tool. 18m was sold in the ICO, 1m was reserved for future dev, 1m for PayPal payments - you can check current status here : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/jwl/ (currently around 20,013,500) Devs are you able to let Gliss know about available supply (18 mil) so CMC is accurate? Has someone from the team contacted Gliss via CMC thread regards available supply so that Jewels can be ranked? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=199685.4700Sent via email on Sunday (25th): Hi, following up again for additional clarification since the problem doesn't seem fixed. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/jewels/#chartshttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1545327.0From our thread: 18M Coins were sold in the ICO 1M Coins were held for dev. fund (a small amount of which has been spent on minor bounties such as translation) 1M Coins were held for paypal reserves (which means we sell these coins to people via paypal, so you should consider them part of the available supply) Please let me know if you need further clarification. That did not mention the staked coins. Maybe that's why its not been updated That information was provided in the very first email we sent them linking to our block explorer which shows the total number of outstanding Jewels. Even if that were the case and that is why it's not been updated, I figure they would have emailed us back telling us that and not expect us to guess about it

I'll get a link to the block explorer added to the site so it's easy to find. I don't see JWL on there perhaps I'm missing something or just blind. Probably this link : https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_JWL/ ( no referral as previous poster used referral link ) . Appreciated, thanks

What's the policy for the dev fund and Paypal reserve fund? Are they both being staked?
The dev fund is being staked, the entirety of the Paypal reserve fund is not being staked (half is) as we need to ensure on the fly liquidity if a user decides to withdraw after a pp tx becoming mature.

Just a minor update the jewels deposits have been enabled on Jewels Project and Conquer Heroes. Spending Jewels in the Heroes shop will prioritize immature Jewels first. We're currently working on making it so users can purchase items or jewels from the Heroes shop directly in game without having to open up their browsers and expect this functionality to be live within the next 48h.
If you notice any bugs, or have any issues please feel free to reach out via Slack or email us!
can you confirm if JEWELS will be listed on Trex or not. Thank you. There is someone spamming Yobit with Trex listing information. Our answer from before has not changed. When there is more information about Bittrex or any other exchange we will officially announce it.

How much are you selling the jewels for with paypal and congratulations btw.
The cheaper rate packages are currently around $0.05 USD/JWL where as the bigger packages are closer to $0.04 USD/JWL. This seems fairly reasonable given the current market price is floating around 0.00003 BTC/JWL which is roughly $0.018 USD/JWL. Prices in the Paypal shop are subject to change as the BTC market for JWL changes.

So to summarize the events, the server is online and registration is open at http://conquerheroes.com If you already have an account on http://jewelsproject.com that account is shared with Conquer Heroes. Paypal integration is live and immature Jewels can be purchased and crypto-based Jewels deposits will be enabled tomorrow. The site is still undergoing changes, tweaks and fixes so there may be small service disruptions for the next few days as we straighten things out but mostly importantly Conquer Heroes is LIVE and you can try it out now! We'll be posting a concise Steem article tomorrow and advertising for the server will begin tomorrow as well.

Just a note that for Conquer Heroes can you can currently spend Jewels that were already on your ICO account (your ICO account is also a Conquer Heroes account) or purchase them via Paypal. Tomorrow we will be enabling Jewels deposits (currently there's a disclaimer in the JewelsProject.com Dashboard mentioning it's disabled).

Slack is offline for me at the moment.
Trying to log into jewelsproject site but this time I'm getting 'unexpected errror please try again later'. Anyone else getting this?
Doing maintenance and live changes, you may experience disruptions in terms of service until we are ready with Heroes. Jewels accounts are directly related to Heroes that is if you have a Jewels account, you don't need to register a Heroes account and registering a Heroes account also gives you a Jewels account

was there a fork or something? I moved coins from my yobit wallet to my desktop wallet fine but since then all my stake were orphans and today I tried to move my coins back to my yobit wallet and the transaction shows unconfirmed and my yobit deposit address doesnt come up in the block explorer?....very confused
There was no fork. Try contacting Yobit support they may be able to help you with your pending deposit. Restarted my wallet several times and the transaction finally started to get confirmations....a lot slower than when I brought coins into my wallet. Kind of strange, only orphans for the last week too Try adding nodes manually to your .conf, you can get a node list from the block explorer.
