suprnova pool, optiminer isn't compatible, just checked
I thought suprnova hodl pool was dead Last we heard from optiminer he said he had shutdown the pool. ( i think it was around the time someone had try'd something with negative timestamps, which is the primary reason we had to create the 3.0.1 wallet ). Officially we don't really promote pool's, the ANN front page says clearly, "Mining direct from the wallet is very efficient and is the recommended way of supporting the network." Having said that there are hodl pools out there... Optiminer's pool is alive and well as far as I can tell. I'm still getting blocks from it. hodl.optiminer.pl has been running smoothly for the last weeks, yes. And suprnova hodl pool was restarted when the requirement to hodl mined coins for a year was removed.

Why should I take your miner if he
A) more power needed, virtual Ram
B) less hash performance
C) I have to pay a fee 2.5%
D) the GTX 1080TI is not reasonably optimized.
So to point c, I like to pay a fee, but your miner must run significantly faster than the EWBF.
Simple: Because it is the only GPU miner available for ZERO. See first page for a link to more info about this interesting coin

Just put up version 1.2.0 for Windows which should support NVIDIA! Please test and report back. 1.2.0 is also a bit faster for AMD cards, so everyone is suggested to update!
Note that 1.2.0 uses a bit more memory. Make sure your virtual memory size in Windows is large enough! Page size > number of cards * 8GB!
2x 1070GTX on i5 cpu win10, works but CPU usage is 100% looks like common opencl NV bug speed is 10s/s per 1070 its shame RX have same speed Great to hear that it works! Yes, the 100% CPU usage is a common issue with opencl and NVIDIA driver.. I do not know why NVIDIA has not fixed that.

Does anyone else notice that you don't get what Whattomine.com says you should get on Suprnova.cc? Whattomine seems to be very accurate for other pools for me but when it comes to suprnova.cc I always get way less. i.e. today I switched over to zclassic and it showed I should be getting 6.2 ZCL (est 24hr is 8 ZCL) hours but in the last 10.5 hours it has only produced 2.3 ZCL. At that rate I would only get about 5 today.
maybe it's just me but I thought I would throw this out there to see what other people are seeing.
Hmm.. that's the wrong thread to complain about a pool... Of course, pool's pay out can vary due to pool luck or if difficulty changes. But if you see this consistently over many days it is strange indeed.

Many daemons were crashing due to the bug that existed in the code. This meant the number of nodes dropped suddenly probably leaving some nodes disconnected from the others leading to a network partitioning. If you then mine on such a partitioned network there will be a temporary fork that gets resolved once the nodes fully connect again. This is likely what has happened here. Your coins did not disappear. Just your mined blocks became orphans. No coins or transactions before the split were lost. This was just a temporary glitch.
Make sure you run a node with the bug fix and that it is synced to the same blocks as shown in pools and explorers before making transactions or solo mining.

mining with GPU RX 470 4GB worth or not ?
It's hard to say, since it depends on difficulty and market price. (price goes up, more miners, less coin per card) 4gb is only about 45-55% what its 8gb variant can do. So I don't want to say No, but, most of the time it's not very worth it. but, considering how new the coin is and how interesting it is, holding on to a few might be a good idea for future highs. With the recent rise in price and the current low difficulty, I am pretty sure it is worth mining the coin. I am also sure that the difficulty will skyrock soon though... So mine some coins as long as you still can

There is a segfault in the hodl daemon when the period gets negative which makes it crash: Thread 1015 "bitcoin-msghand" received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. [Switching to Thread 0x7ffcf8998700 (LWP 1795)] getBonusForAmount (periods=periods@entry=-88680, theAmount=theAmount@entry=6150503) at primitives/transaction.cpp:169 169 CBigNum rate256(bonusTable[periods]); (gdb) bt #0 getBonusForAmount (periods=periods@entry=-88680, theAmount=theAmount@entry=6150503) at primitives/transaction.cpp:169 #1 0x0000555555748698 in GetInterest (nValue=6150503, outputBlockHeight=262619, valuationHeight=<optimized out>, maturationBlock=173939) at primitives/transaction.cpp:245 #2 0x0000555555749ee0 in CTxOut::GetValueWithInterest (this=this@entry=0x7ffcf8995c40, outputBlockHeight=<optimized out>, valuationHeight=<optimized out>) at primitives/transaction.cpp:155 #3 0x00005555555f0413 in ConnectBlock (block=..., state=..., pindex=pindex@entry=0x7fffe40075a0, view=..., fJustCheck=fJustCheck@entry=false) at main.cpp:1945
I fixed this by capping the period at 0 if it is negative for the daemon at hodl.optiminer.pl. Would be nice to have an official fix.
