These look excellent. I'll have a think on wether I want any more of these, i'm still on the fence regarding the tenths, nice for the collection though so I may be able to convince myself its worth it.

If you have a collection it's not complete without it Wink
483  Economy / Goods / Re: (UK GROUP BUY 10/20) 1BTC Gold Plated Casascius Silver Coins on: October 21, 2013, 12:12:12 PM
I believe they are the same as the 1BTC .999 1oz silver coins but he has gold plated the B and edges. I think they look pretty nice.

If you check casascius.com you can see they are the only ones offered as of now. I will be keeping my all silver ones for a while now. Wink

One other thing i have thought have however, I am sure there will be a customs charge of some amount. There was one when i ordered from Casascius in the past.

Can everyone confirm that they are ok to cover this between users too, again it will be on a unique users basis and also not for profit

This is for a group buy for the 1BTC Gold Plated Silver coins

Costs for the coins will be split evenly depending how many coins you have.

Postage will be split evenly between unique buyers. So if there are 10 people ordering different amounts of coins then postage will be divided by 10, irrespective of how many you order.

If this other group buy looks like it might finish around the same time then postage will be combined between all unique users for both, saving everyone a little more. Smiley

Postage from me to each individual user will be worked out for each person on a non profit basis.
488  Economy / Goods / Re: (UK GROUP BUY 11/20) 0.1BTC Casascius Silver Coin on: October 21, 2013, 11:56:53 AM
I have had this PM from iron77

Hey,

Would you mind adding few of these new coins for me in the group buy order? (perhaps there would be more intereset from other ppl as well?)

Thanks

I think its a good idea. I would be happy to wait to order the 0.1s until an order for 20 of these is ready.

What do other people think?

I think i will start a fresh thread for the 1BTC coins though, link to follow

welcome doyourduty, edd, BitshireHashaway, Rockford, dexX7, Cablez, gandhibt and gmannn

feels good to gain momentum, thx

@david: +1 for your enthusiasm, letīs keep this one to frankfurt. there will be a 10 k, 100 k and 1 mio parties after this one  Cheesy
@rassah: awesome idea, i vote for carribean or indian ocean
@molecular: since the budget will be rather grand, i will check out the latest sky projection gear  Wink.   having several parties at several parts of the world would surely be nice; but it will be hard to synchronize, since timing is anyway a difficult issue

Is Frankfurt settled then? I thought Berlin was an option and with the extra BTC infrastructure sounded like a very good one.

Your bulk pricing for the 0.5s works out the same as buying 20 singles. Is that right?

I'll go.  Gonna need an appropriate wardrobe if it ever happens, any sharp dressers here willing to consult me for a fair fee?

My friends a london based tailor that i have been working on getting him to accept bitcoins. If the price keeps going up like it has been i dont think it will be too long before he does. Smiley

I would like some please. Any first left, 5 of the 2nds and 5 of the 3rds
493  Economy / Goods / Re: (UK GROUP BUY 11/20) 0.1BTC Casascius Silver Coin on: October 21, 2013, 08:31:47 AM
if it wasn't because of the +0.45 i would be up for one or two.

Just checked the original post as i wasnt sure what you meant. It looks like i made a mistake with the post. It should read 9BTC/20 = 0.45BTC. I am not intending on making a 0.45BTC profit on each coin Smiley I presume that anybody who has already said they wantone know this too, (if you do want to pay me 0.45 extra for each coin feel free Wink )

So to clarify. Coin cost will be split evenly per coin.

Postage will be split between unique number of buyers. If there are 10 different buyers it will be divided by 10 irrespective of how many coins you want. Extra postage from me to you will be on a non profit basis. I just want some coins. Smiley

thanks for the reply
you have a PM

Cool, so assuming by the time we get to 19 sold you will be able to get one then that leaves 8 to go. I reckon we should be able to order by the end of this week. Smiley

Can i ask what the inside of the hash wallet looks like?

I presume if i didnt want the text on the back of the wallet that would be possible, maybe some different text?
