Come on Girls.  Take it off line.   He's got work to do and I still haven't received a pay out.

That's exactly my point. There is no response offline.  Sad
That's right steelboy: I have no concrete proof from you offline.
Please do not hijack the thread to deal with your particular case. A case that is highly "unusual" to say the least.
I will not respond to further allegations but I will respond to any proof that you provide. Offline as previously indicated.
If there is no proof you can safely conclude that your claim will not be accepted.

@BCB
What is your claim number and status ? (please PM me or Arsy).

(Apologies in advance to others for continuinn this discussion online)

Boussac, I really don't understand how you have gone from being relatively polite in our communications to being so rude because I asked you a question on a thread about this specific problem. I proved the wallets were mine well enough for you to pay me my money back and now, for some reason, you are being obtuse.

You know I do not have any more info other than what i have given you so you are basically saying that you are keeping my money no matter what. Nice job, I even defended you and your operation on the Let's Talk Bitcoin podcast but it seems the scammer title so many others have thrown at you all along might have been right all along.

I can only presume that your customer base at Bitcoin Central/Paymium has continued to fall since this fiasco and the money in your comapany is starting to dry up, meaning you have to grab every last Bitcoin you can.

The way you do business is deplorable and the way you talk to your customers is shocking.

I hope everybody now knows that any businesses that you hold now or in future are not to be trusted.

This is really good. Upbeat and i like the idea of the BTC timeline. I thought it was a bit political at times and the Silk Road thing was quite prominent at the start but i suppose thats the history of Bitcoin

Some great responses so far. The udemy vids look really interesting and in depth.

This http://vimeo.com/63502573 link is fantastic. Who made that?
547  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius Coins on: August 23, 2013, 07:51:27 AM
Nightowl, sorry to hijack your thread here, but I had a question:
Can you, or anyone else for that matter, make a recommendation for which air-tites and spacers I should purchase for the following?
2011 series 25 BTC
2011 series 1 BTC
2012 series 5 BTC

Thanks.

I don't know about the 25 BTC coin, but the 1 BTC and 5 BTC coins are the same size, and I believe that they fit in the 28 mm ring, but I could be wrong. I remember seeing the size in a post in the original Casascius coin thread a long time ago.

Depends where you are based but i bought the lighthouse ones from ebay in the UK last week. You will need 29mm for the 1 & 5 coin.

The 25 is in it's own pouch and it is 44.5mm diameter. I just keep mine in the pouch.

551  Bitcoin / Meetups / Trip to Berlin on: August 23, 2013, 01:06:26 AM
Berlin is fast becoming a Bitcoin Mecca, with a whole district starting to accept BTC in hotels, bars and restaurants.

What about organising a Bitcointalk forum meet up. A chance to have a few days with fellow bitcoiners, talk bitcoin and drink some nice beers. I dont know when? Maybe sometime in October? (I think there is a big beer festival in Germany)

Anyway, just an idea. Interested to see what people think.

Shall i contact John?
554  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: How to double your BTC in a week on: August 23, 2013, 12:25:50 AM

555  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Casascius Coins (and other bits) from bobsbitcoins **Best UK Prices** on: August 23, 2013, 12:21:58 AM
When are you expecting the 1btc silver coins?

I thought they were coming with the rest of the order but they weren't in the package. Mike has said since there is a holdup so realistically it's going to be at least 2 weeks. Sad

Really depends on if you can wait that time for a great deal.
556  Economy / Goods / Re: I am looking to buy this item with BTC , LTC or IFC on: August 23, 2013, 12:15:37 AM
So 5 isn't the deal? You want to wait until Tuesday to see what it will be?

I would prefer to agree the price now really. Is that possible?

557  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [OSX] Multi-currency BTC & LTC Ticker for OS X's Menu Bar on: August 22, 2013, 11:51:25 PM
It's now saying Bitstamp price is $0.00

I hope that's not right. Cheesy
558  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [OSX] Multi-currency BTC & LTC Ticker for OS X's Menu Bar on: August 22, 2013, 11:48:55 PM
I am not a techie at all and I am wanting to know if this is open source.

Do the people that have downloaded it know that there are no malware or trojans in it that could cause harm.

I'm sure there isn't I just wouldn't know how to check. Smiley

There is no malware at all, promise! It's open source, and you can check it on Github: https://github.com/ibittler/CoinNotify

Ok, I don't know how to read code but if it's open source I'm sure someone would have checked it so I have installed it.

Thanks very much, I will donate something for you efforts.
559  Economy / Goods / Re: I am looking to buy this item with BTC , LTC or IFC on: August 22, 2013, 11:43:28 PM

Hi

Yeah, i have used John loads of times for buying various things.

I've been here a while but most of the transactions have been me buying, I am hoping to sell more now as you can see from my sig Wink

Speak to you in a bit. Smiley
560  Bitcoin / Meetups / Oxford UK, anyone interested? on: August 22, 2013, 11:40:04 PM
Just wondered if there was any interest in an Oxford meet up. I don't think it would have to be just bitcoin as I am pretty sure there is a big alt-coin following here too.

Would love to get a monthly thing started, even if it was just a few people to begin with.
