Ofcourse. I think one of them are already a billionaire from bitcoin itself. If you invested bitcoin last 2013, the possibility of being a billionare are great. Pioneer of bitcoin HODLers will certain have that money but since they are anonymous, we dont know them.  |

Is it enough to be smart with just nothing to lean on and go on with your life? Because i feel that there are a lot of people who doesn't know how to handle their money with regards to see in the future. Is it enough to be smart and not be strategical or somewhat a person who has a lot of experience. Who would you choose?
For me it is required to be a master of both things like of course you can not have experience if you are not going to try and some people would think it's a waste of their time if they are doing what they know already like repeating their work over and over again. So it should be in a balance.
I being smart and strategic is one of the best things that you can be in life. If you're smart and strategic you can almost make good decisions in life. However, if I were to choose one between the two, I would still choose being a strategic person. As you know, there's a lot of people who were not able to finish a degree, but since they are very strategic, they were able to have a good life and become rich. Being smart and strategic will still be base on experience. People dont go smart easily if they dont have any knowledge about anything. For a strategic person, this will depend also in knowledge but further more advance than a smart one because he studies all the possibilities that will happen in every situation. |

Buying & holding seems to be a great way to make capital gains, but that's totally different
than passive income. Bank interest, stock dividends, and rental properties (sort of) give
you passive income, not holding bitcoin. The key word is income. Bitcoin doesn't
provide any of that.
I suppose lending would qualify, but that's very risky.
Lending in bitcoin is possible. Some of campaign managers here in the forum have lending business here too. But for bitcoin,is not a passive income because of its volatility in the crypto market. Just like altcoins, bitcoin can goes pump and dump and if you are new to bitcoin it is difficult for you to understand the movement of the market which may lead you for selling it when dump occurs because of FUD. There is no easy way to generate an income in the cryptocurrency but here in the forum, you still have to work for it. |

I have been following bitcoin price since the recent upwards price movement and I think $5875 has become the high and corrections has began. Checking price chart this morning I discovered that the down channel's line has been broken and that signal a dropped in buying momentum and price may get below $5,000. However, this is another opportunity to buy bitcoin at a very cheap prices as before the end of this year bitcoin might hit $7,000. This corrections is not going to be a long one, it might just be three to four days and we would resumes another upwards movement again.
You're definitely correct about the fact that all of this is due to corrections. I suspect that once BTC hit 5,500, a decent amount of investors decided to sell. However, there must have been more people trying to hop on the boat, so the evaluation rose to 5,800. Either way, it seems like there will soon be another big jump. Yes I think there will also be a big jump if I am not wrong there will be another hard fork for bitcoin, So I think there will be a huge pump because a lot of people would want to save or have bitcoin before the fork to have another free coin. Correct. That's why altcoins become bloody before the fork due to this new coin which will be Bitcoin Gold. Hope that a pump after the fork will happen. I think because of this upcoming fork why people also stop buying bitcoin because they are not sure if the price will pump or dump after this. For me, big jump will occur on the last week of the year. |

you can invest your money in bitcoin, altcoin or ICO in the campaign, by investing you will get a lot of profit, I suggest you altcoin investment that its cheap price like XLM, I heard XLM also been working with IBM. The best coin will bitcoin of course. Since bitcoin increase its price it is the most progressive coin ever in the cryptocurrency. For other altcoin, I think more and more coin are just copying other platforms which i think it is not advisable to buy with. |

I do not think that this will happen in a massive way, because in fact the users of bitcoin are only a minimal part of the formal economy, therefore this lack of payment of income taxes will never significantly affect public finances.
You right, the numbers of bitcoin holders are not enough to wipe out taxes imposed by the governments. But it could certainly affect it's collections as number of bitcoin holders are increasing, it will automatically decrease unless the government will imposed mandatory to pay taxes. And it could be possible to happen if bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will become legalized. You are right but Bitcoin is gaining popularity everyday and some day in the future it will have a massive effect on the income tax if people with businesses and even inidividuals abuse the untraceability of Bitcoin. The only solution I see is the government taking action by regulation such as identifying yourself as the owner of your Bitcoin address so that the government can monitor the transactions you are having. I think it would take a few more years to tax bitcoin because how can the government identify all the addresses used by one person? I think it was enough to tax the business present in the country for the supply of their finances. If the bitcoin will be taxed, i think it should not because we are paying fees for every transaction we are making which depends on the platform that we use. |

More and more people are trusting bitcoin today even if theres a little drop. Because of the incoming fork 10 days from now, bitcoin will certainly goes down a bit and pump again. Hope it wont go for a fast pump before the year will end just like last year.  |

Apart from that, I love this quote: Bitcoin fell as much as 5.9 percent, its biggest loss in almost a month, to as low as $5,247. I'm not sure whether to I'm more fascinated by the BTC price or by the fact that 6% drops have become newsworthy. According to volatility index that is not that much in comparison to last monthes. Today looks worse if no correction has been guessed beforehands. Drawing a supportline starting from 9/15 that line will cross the former high of 9/2 (usually a month start strong because of fresh wages) around the 20th, five days before that Gold fork. Right day to get in. Date, or around $4800 whatever gets reached earlier. I think people sell because of the hard fork which is coming in November. Its either they are selling their bitcoin and take their profit or buying alternative coins that have a potential to pump after the fork. Also Bitcoin Gold make a big effect on it. Either way, still hodling my BTC for the a long term. |

I hear from many sources that btc is used for trading much more than it is for goods and services; doesn't that make it an asset ??
and is that necessarily a bad thing ?? and what can we do about it as a community ??
Usually its being use to buy service, but since people are trying to buy bitcoin join an investment like potential platforms, it could be an asset in the future. Bitcoin can also be a currency that use for buying as mentioned. And for the community itself, this will be usefull for faster system of transactions which blockchain can provide |

Crimes are not only in bitcoin present. Of course anyone can use bitcoin then it can also be use crime specially for transfer or paying money which are not being detected or traced. Good and bad are present in everything, bitcoin is not an exception to it.

People got scammed only if they are lack of knowledge, but if they are full of knowledge about the the investment which they are going to invest in for sure they won't be a victim by the scammer. Right but we can expect the newbies to join the investment because they thought it's an easy money you can earn profit doing nothing, there are more kinda of scam like buying a digital goods for someone legit but lately become a scammer so expect scam even if you have a full knowledge. Correct, because if people are being fooled by a certain project created by a great scammer which are very legit at first, but in the end it was really a scam that take all your money at the end. There is no guarantee even you have a full of knowledge on it. Trust will be the first priority to check if they are really a scam. |
