Gifting merits among friend is very bad. This friends who share their merit points among themselves, have little or no quality accrued to their post all they're concerned about is getting merit to rank up. Any such act should be addressed to the admins.
The real problem is circulating sMerits between friends (they are mostly alt-accounts and main accounts) mainly rewarded those sMerits to extremely low-quality threads. It is the problem. If someone, even they are your friends, can create constructive threads, which deserved Merits. It's doesn't matter who send those threads merits. just do whatever they want, but please remember that merit system was launched to stimulate quality of threads in the forum. Not only to stimulate quality threads but also to determine the connections of merited people for every accounts. In the end, merits will be consumed and the judgement day of these non-merited members will come to an end together withe the cleaning of the forum(together with inactive account,alt accounts and spammers). |

LeBron is on the mission again this year, and for you guys who thinks Celtics can overcome the Cavs, well sorry to say but the chances are very low without their 2 superstars. Experience has a higher winning percentage. Remember what happened with the OKC in the 2012 NBA finals? That team was stacked with young talents, but they lost because they dont have experienced the pressure and atmosphere in a playoff championship game.
It wouldve been a good competetive match up if both teams have a healthy roster.

I was once a fan of Boston Celtics but if we'll see and check the line up, experience and path on who's going to the right one, Cavs is the clear one that's going through. I like to assume that this can be the same as last year that Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will face again in the finals but this season will be for Cavs. Lebron is very consistent in the East so I have to believe that they will easily win against the Boston this year. If only they have Irving playing with them now, they might have a chance to win against the cavaliers as they have the home court advantage, but sadly Irving was injured so their chance of winning is very low now. From the past round, Boston really struggles from some plays. IMO, correct that Lebron's consistency could lead them to finals. But I think Boston will put a little fight in the end of the East Finals. But my team is Gloden States. Say Hi to the Warriors fans here. Hooooo!!!!  Ahh no. Not a Warriors fan!  Just kidding.  I can not see them going far since they have Curry who has soft ankles and everytime I see him jumping for the ball I always see in my mind him twisting his foot again and being out for the rest of the playoffs. We have all seen how the Warriors perform without their leader at the helm and against a healthy Cavaliers team, they do not have a chance to go on to the finals. They already know what Stephen Curry's injury of course. Coach Steve Kerr will prevent him to take strong from the paint. With the help of Durant and Green from their defense to Lebron, he will be immobilize in case Cavs will go to conference finals. What I was getting at was if Stephen Curry rolls his ankle again, which could be very easy for him to do on any play being run, the Warriors are done. They might as well kiss their chances to even get to the finals goodbye. My first campaign manager was strawbabies but definitely that manager needs a lot to understand the whole forum's rules and regulations, 2nd was yahoo62278, base on my own experience This manager is Great, in other words full package, Skilled, project advisor, at the same time a manager that has a very wide understanding checking always the situation to deal with participants who does not read. Third is, Frank Noland, a manager wherein you have to fix His time and needs more experience.
CM strawbabies were not active since March but he/she was online last May 11, 2018, 03:19:40 PM base from her profile. I think project are running out from him/her or the other way around(developing another project/campaign). For FrankNoland, as I said before, I would prefer trusted member but I would try to take a tour from his post. |

I like your idea, because it is the serious discussion board, but i guess, even if they are a higher ranked members, spammer will always be a spammer, so restricting a board based on rank wont do much for them. Because you know, some of them maybe an account buyer.
Also, there were higher ranks that are spammers from the start that we can't avoid from serious discussion. ....
In addition IMO the "report to moderator" function do need few reports so that we can see...
=>which one has been already reported,
=>which one considered as accepted and
=>which one was rejected.
I have a proposal here too: Let's create some more buttons instead of the 'Report to moderator', like: -Report as copypaste/plagiarism -Report as off-topic -Report as ref.link included -Report as low quality or something similar. -etc... Or, if you click on the 'Report to moderator' you should have a list with radio buttons to just easily mark the one that fits, and you don't have to write anything, this would save some time and effort for the reporters and maybe they will be more happy to report even more posts... It was like playing mobile legends. When a player is afk, feeder or intentionally throwing the game,reports are made after the game just like in Dota 2. Option are more limited but reviews will also be need with this kind of proposal.  The idea could be great because we can filter them base on the kind of reports. Evaluate them if they should stay in the forum. This also could add additional stats for every member like a defined merit. |

I'm very confused, why every people in this board always talk about merit? Meta is a board to talk about problem in this forum. It means, is merit an problems in this forum? What is the problem for merit system? What causes this to be a problem?
Don't just jump to conclusion. Some of them are not reading deeply in the forum. Because of merit system, our admins already determines which section were merit transactions took place a lot (in Lauda's point of view- "I can already see the main sources of account farming for some sections") Just be patient. Follow our admins to have more ideas what is happening in the forum and look for more useful topics from them to broaden your idea. |

Try to learn the basics of trading. It would make a lot of help before allotting you 20K USD to Bitcoin and other altcoins.
Personally, I use RSI and MACD for entering or buying crypto even with bitcoins.

First of all, merit system is apparently not enough to provoke people into opening quality threads. Before opening a thread, people should be incited into researching, and checking if the question in their mind has been discussed before. And after researching, if they can't find the answer to their specific question anywhere, then they should open new threads.

Lets start from opening a topic or a thread. Since this is uncontrollable, WE SHOULD CHECK all the topics that should be posted in the forum or, SOMEONE should check (moderator, DT, concerned members, dedicated people). Apparently, this is the main issue here, if this will not stop, the forum will be spammed forever. We should have at least make an approval button(or an approver) before a topic will be posted to make an organized section. Knowledgeable from the histories and other post would be a nominee for this. Just an idea. |

I want to share to you my own story who is my inspiration on doing crypto work like, trading and bounty hunting or why i do get involve here in crypto.

I get scam on the investment platform i joined many times and swear not to join any ponzi scheme investment and that bad experinece get me on TRADING , which is im the only one who is controlling and holding my money. I used to reseach everyday on how to trade and read charts and scalp . On my 1st time trading burn my money first but that gives me experience to become more familiar and become smarter. By the way its minimal money i used to trade before around 10$
Then i realise if i dont have enough capital its useless trading. Then i met very good person which teaches me how to bounty hunt here at bitcointalk.From that day I work patiently full of determination that someday this will answer my prayer for my parents, i failed many times but i still continue because i strongly believe in crypto its my passion and my new hope. Until one day an answered prayer came i get successful work from different bounties which gives me a lot of income.
And now i am able to help my parents with their problem and build a little business which is backyard pigs from my bounties. Thank you for crypto whitout this im still nothing and cant give happiness to my parents.

Over 900 Million pesos worth of bitcoins been scammed.
Filipino couple amasses at least P900M in alleged Bitcoin scam.
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Police have nabbed a couple promising easy wealth through popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa announced on Tuesday, April 10.
Arnel and Leonady Ordonio were nabbed by PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operativeso – the police division in charge of high-stakes and high-profile crimes – in Vigan City last April 4 through an entrapment operation.
The scam, Obusan said, is structured like a pyramid scheme but with electronic money.
The Ordonios apparently had middlemen who lured people to invest. They promised to pay victims with their earnings every 15 days.
Fueled by the worldwide Bitcoin hype, more and more people were baited by the Ordonio couple's promises.
The complaints started piling in when investors lost contact with the Ordonios.
Whats happened next?
Around 50 angry victims stormed to Camp Crame on Tuesday, asking the couple if they could still get back the money they had hoped would grow.
Will bitcoin be banned because of that?
I already knew about the news last month about many Filipino people was a victim of the said crypto currency scam using the name of bitcoin, that's why almost all Filipino are hate Bitcoin and it was suddenly predict that Bitcoin is a scam. Anyway I hereby certify that Bitcoin is not scam. Bitcoin was build for all people it's either you rich or poor people all have accessible to use Bitcoin that's why some other organization taking advantage to use Bitcoin victimized too many people in behalf of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not a scam and it will never be banned. Currently, there are just FUD that making bitcoin as scam in the eye of an ordinary people in the Philippines without looking in the deeper story.
