181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prediction ETH up to $15,000 by this year on: May 03, 2018, 10:09:17 AM
sorry to disappoint you but there is always a limit to how much you can pump an altcoin. you can never pump it to eternity. there will be a time when everything starts unraveling and crumbling down. and there is nothing going on for ethereum to be pumped that much either. the hype has disappeared and there is only bag holders and small pumps remaining.

not to mention as more countries ban ICOs, ethereum will eventually become obsolete!
Being obsolete? I think the second crypto currency would never be gone forever because many projects and other transaction are being used by etherium blockchain. I only agree with the small pumps but $15,000 is too much for this year unless it will overtake bitcoin for gods sake.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: May 03, 2018, 08:42:33 AM
They already profited a lot with apple alone. Apple already filed patent that creates a system for certifying timestamps with the use of blockchain technology.

https://www.investopedia.com/news/apple-planning-use-blockchain/

I think apple concerns more on its security of the users rather than involving at bitcoin specially as payment method

183  Economy / Economics / Re: let us promote BITCOIN on: May 03, 2018, 07:36:20 AM
Yes, bounty hunters are doing that daily, not just in social media, but also in common life comunicating with friends and relatives, so it became more popular daily!

I'm sure with a lot of bitcoin promotions for them-they will be interested and participate with bitcoin, because the Price always goes up every month so for them it's very easy to make money. For me it's great, if you've been promoting bitcoin, especially for those who do not know the name of crypto money
Let us help each other here, we all need each other support for us to have all way of good living and we can only do that if we will continue to promote bitcoin to some people not only here in forum but also to all our neighbors and relatives.
Helping is the best way to change people's lives and we can do that by promoting bitcoin and i agree that we should do it to our neighbors and also relatives because they can grab the opportunity and if they will become serious and work hard to bitcoin then they will also earn a lot of money that will become the reason for their lives to change.
Making a circle with knowledge of bitcoin could make an impact in your community. This will be a basic start if bitcoin should be recognize specially with the non-millennial. Even your friends or office mates can be involve to it. Its just like knowing stock in a different scale.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN? on: May 03, 2018, 06:45:56 AM
If the government will win over Bitcoin, a lot of people will be disappointed because some people start to have this investment for their future; thus, it will be their lost if Bitcoin will be gone.
That is true that a lot of people will become disappointed to bitcoin because they are all expecting some good things about bitcoin in the future and if the government will just ruin it by stopping bitcoin then it will result for disappointment. Government should not do that and they should just support bitcoin so the progress of having a better and futuristic world will become faster.
I think because of some scam accusation about crypto currency, government will intervene in the process. If a lot of dumb people investing at crypto without proper knowledge on it will really be a big problem. The best thing to do is to educate people more about this to win over our own governments.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is going to accept crypto! on: May 03, 2018, 03:51:06 AM
Similar news is. But realization is practically impossible. The law is not yet in favor of the participants crypto currency. The government wants money, not regulation of the crypto-currency market. And the news is not likely to be affected on the crypto-currency market positively.
In my point of view, government only wants to make a profit out cryptocurrency. Since mostly more people here in the forum are from Russia, we can learn from their regulation if this would really happen in time. But mostly, there should be a balance on the holders of the currency and the governments tax.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: to be come victorious in bitcoin on: May 03, 2018, 02:06:50 AM
That is the philosophy, everyone needs to adopt today. But the reality is not everyone is able to adopt this kinda strategy and fails to act smartly in the market. This creates panic in the minds of the people and out of anxiety, they spread negativity all around. They make haste decisions which result in no good, rather bring them losses. Bitcoin investment can fetch you very good returns but all you need is patience. Sometimes you have to bear with the bad market conditions and sometimes wait for quite a long time in order to get returns. That is the reason I always prefer to go for long term investments. You cannot rule the market unless you are clear cut with its basics. So stop looking for the short cuts and find out the best ways to become victorious in a particular field of work.
Being smart is different from being knowledgeable. Some are knowledgeable but without being wise to adopt this kind of mentality. Resources is also a factor to be victorious in this market.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dealing with Bitcoin or Crypto haters. on: May 02, 2018, 05:25:54 PM
I have a tough time at work dealing with the haters. So many people discourage me on a daily basis but I have stopped caring about their opinions. I am making almost 1000$ a month through trading over and above my regular salary. Those guys have no idea about this income and I don't even want to jinx it by coming in their eyes. I'm happy with what I'm making and I need not prove it to anyone.
Correct. We dont need to brag all our profit to people that will criticize us in the end. Its better to live freely than to judge by others(which we dont really care).
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC to receive bounty rewards. on: May 02, 2018, 09:25:54 AM
In my opinion, KYC policy helps in ensuring the ICO's reputation. Why? Because it wants to make sure that its investors are credible and have clean records. Ofcourse they don't want their project's to have a bad name. I can also see the point of implementing it to promoters however it can be quite hesitating for them. I, myself, belong to the community of bounty hunters and I would not risk my personal info for an unworthy project, even more to a fake project. So to play safe, I'd stay away from projects that require bounty participants to comply on KYC policy. Data breach is a serious matter and i never planned to include my birthdays and place in those.
But in the end, many are not in to the KYC requirements. Most of them are afraid of exposing their identity. This can be used illegally. For a really bad doing, they can even make kidnap your family for ransom if they trance your overall transaction you are using. That's why I'm not joining bounty campaign that requires KYC.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ico on: May 02, 2018, 07:10:20 AM
I think any ICO is risky, so I will consider its team, technology and project prospects before choosing. I think my careful operation will reduce the risk.
To reduce risk, we should consider known developers of existing project which are successful at their ICO's and even from running the project. To reduce risk, researching will be our great instrument to avoid this kind of scam.
190  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is a proof of brain concept on: May 02, 2018, 05:39:18 AM
I've read so many threads and posts about merit, and I've come to realise that the real problem with the merit system is that it rewards meritorious posters.
Since these people really create admirable post that needed to be merited then why not limited the number of merits to be given to high rankers or restrict them to recieve Merit.

I think these time we could enumerate these people because we already have data's.

Post count is just a simple count of the number of posts made, regardless of content or benefit to forum members. Activity is a limiter to control the rewards for over-active posters. Trust is a comment on trading morality, and the honesty of a member. Merit is a reflection of the mental ability of the poster, and his willingness to follow community guidelines on posting. If you don't have the ability or intelligence to construct useful posts, then of course you will see merit as discriminating against you. The sensible member will endeavour to develop his abilities to take advantage of the verdant pastures that surround the cesspit.

It isn't too difficult to improve your posting skills. The first task is to read the rules, and to read the thread before you post in it. The second task is to ensure that your post can be understood by your readers. This means you should check for typing errors and misspellings before you hit post. If English isn't your first language, then try to ensure that your sentence structure follows the rules of English, and isn't just a word translation of your local language.
Ability of a member could develop in time but if members could follow great posters as a basis of posting, ideas will be just at ease.

For other members, try bookmarking the latest post of these guys and you will see great topics to develop your skills and other hot topics in the forum. Communicating with them could gain knowledge more faster rather than reading a whole bunch of shit topics and reading all the comments from top to bottom.

191  Other / Meta / Re: F*#king merit system but we have to live with that… on: May 02, 2018, 04:47:46 AM
OP = you. Lauda is saying that this is a great way of giving merit to alts while pretending you are meriting legitimate users. And that's the issue. Maybe you really want to motivate and reward users who do HQ posts, but someone else could steal your idea to merit his fake accounts and rank up without risking a negative trust. Basically "money merit laundering".

Another way around for a understanding
OP=Original Poster (just to remember it more)

The idea could be great. Kindly clear if this Merit Pool your saying is another extra payment or a distribution of sMerit.

But, allocation of it may mix up your computation by the end of the  campaign. Rather than doing a calculated pool, it would be nice if you may fix the rates
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is rare on: May 01, 2018, 09:26:56 PM
https://www.ccn.com/only-another-four-million-bitcoin-will-be-mined-heres-why/amp/

Bitcoin is rare . Just only 4 million left to be mined. Is this the reason why , the price increase?  Need to know your opinion too.

few amount of Bitcoins is also lost forever due to the lost of wallet private key and the death of the owners without legacy, few amount of bitcoins is also held in long term by some investors. some amount of bitcoins is circulated among whales' hands.
yes, bitcoin is really rare. this is one of reasons why bitcoin price increases.
IMHO, try searching the word rare. Bitcoin can be found very often in which is contradict to what you believe of it being rare.

Although Bitcoins may be lost forever because of force majeure, its price will just increase as you said. It will just be like our fiat money.

For my TODO:
Can the admins create another column for sections that  we see/filter how many merits are given in a certain topic?(just an idea)

This would be great to see useful comments.  Grin Watching this thread.

I would really want to learn a lot from every topics because I want to maximize my time of reading since I'm not a full time here.

For my TODO:

Hi, you can actually check this info in the interactive graph i made, maybe helps: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3312945

You can even tap directly into the raw data if you wan, the file flare.json:
https://github.com/AlbertoIT/AlbertoIT.github.io/tree/master/Visualization

Already looked at the graph and its really great. @Loyce & @Piggy, but what I mean at my comment from Jet Cash post was to read the post.

I think it will be also a great help to Jet Cash and other readers to view high quality post & the "list of members who give merits to bounty programmes".   Wink

At this rate, rather than checking the whole thread(with shit posters) we can read directly the most useful replies at that topic too.
194  Other / Serious discussion / Re: ATTENTION- Stop receive airdrop token without knowledge on: April 29, 2018, 11:42:48 AM
Most of the airdrop only requires wallet address. Your just so dumb if you include your private keys and other details from yoir personal accounts. Always make sure your not sharing important parts of your informations.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you involved in Cryptocurrency on: April 29, 2018, 10:31:32 AM
Most of people here finds cryptocurrency as a big opportunity in life. I'm a still new in trading here because investing at stock makes me difficult to submit requirements. Many of us takes tradings in crypto a big blessings because we can control it on our own.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get Cryptocurrency Job?? on: April 26, 2018, 11:29:56 PM
that's easy to get a crypto job if you have knowledge and skill about cryptocurrency. it's will be great if you have skill about blockchain, solidity... that way will give you huge money and benefit from many ICO projects now

You can easily become an independent trader and start to make your money using the knowledge that you got before. You do not even need to have special education: just a great desire and interest in crypto.
To read more about ICO'and how things work around it. This are some list of CMs that I usually join to get a crypto currency job here in the forum.

197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: April 26, 2018, 11:09:50 PM
I think we will only see more manipulation if this happens , if the banks will profit of bitcoin going up are down then they are gonna make sure that is what happens. Like someone said above , this defeats one of the reasons why bitcoin was invented in the first place. So maybe they will offer it in the future but my hope is as a community we stay away from it.
Bitcoin should not be accepted on banks because its not a store of assest. Also, its very unlikey that banks would accept large amount of Bitcoin because its very suspicious specially when auditin of their central banks.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: April 26, 2018, 11:03:17 PM
I don't really know the actual to what ICO requires some KYC, because in my opinion it is a very sensitive data, but most likely the KYC is used to find out the area because I see there are some countries that prohibited to be the participation in some of the ICO.
I think it will be useful to require only for the investors during ICO to avoid scammers on the site but it is not good to require also for claiming up on the reward for different campaign because not all participants have a paper for the verification. We have work for them,  to advertise their project but worst and the end they required KYC to everyone.
Most of exchangers require  identification before you withdraw your funds. But most of ICO here dont require KYC. I really dont participate on all of campaigns requiring it because I'm afraid that they will use that documents for illegal reasons.
199  Economy / Economics / Re: Money vs Barter on: April 26, 2018, 10:16:50 PM
Money is one of the important concepts, This section talks about money from the perspective of microeconomics.when people exchange goods and services without using money, this is called barter. "I'll cook dinner if you'll do the dishes" is an example of barter. Imagine an economy in wich i can sell services as a consultant to banks, but what i want is to buy a new suit. the clothing store that sell suits does not have any use for my services as a banking consultant. i sell consulting services for money, and i buy a suit using money. money serves as a medium of exchange. the bank does not sell suits. how can barter work?
With a common commodity, money serves as every once need thats the reason why fiat was produce, to sell or exchange of services.
200  Other / Meta / Re: Our very own sMerit Network Picture on: April 26, 2018, 09:24:03 PM
Such a great tool for reviewing members sMerit and merit system. Very informative by looking only at the charts that conceptualize tha connection of certain accounts which you would try to investigate as a merit abusers.
