81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India makes ownership of Bitcoin criminal offense - How to respond? on: March 01, 2021, 08:55:16 PM
~
Farmer protest was going on the right track until the Republic day. The public mood changed, after some of the protesters changed the national flag at Red Fort. Some say that supporters of the ruling party infiltrated the protests and did things like Red Fort raid and attack on policemen to devoid the farmers of public sympathy. Anyway, now it looks as if the support for the protests have waned.
You are not following the facts but still saying what the narrative created by the central government and the media they are holding, it was a planned operation and none of the farm leaders were in that protest but it was lead by a person belonging to the ruling party and even with that situation no one changed the Indian flag from the Red Fort, they hoisted the farm flag alongside and some of the media created a narrative that they changed the Indian flag which was debunked even by world media.

Looking at the Indian political system, the ruling party is supported by how the system functions. They have their strongholds in a few states such as UP, Bihar, Gujarat, MP, Karnataka and Rajasthan. These 6 states account for almost 40% of the parliamentary seats and this means that they can ignore the other states and come to power solely by concentrating in this region.
Lets take a look at this situation, in Bihar they won 53 seats out of the total 253 seats and how they are ruling, money and how they are able to blackmail the opposition party members and force them to join BJP, even Meghalaya they have won 2 seats out of 60 seats and BJP is ruling and that can be said in Jammu Kashmir and Goa as well.

Lets see how the situation will unfold and i am hoping that the narrative of ban will be changed by the influencers.

Its completely reverse what we see in SENA country so its fair in all means. Would love to see Jadeja-Ashwin-Axar-Kuldeep/Sunder group in India similar to Anderson-Broad-Woakes-Archer or Cummins-Hazelwood-Starc +one more (Green etc).

F**k everyone if they say its spinning track etc, even its turning from day 1, adapt or die as simple as that. If India lose from here then Job well done for Visiting team without any doubt. Yardstick should be same for everyone. India never complain about seam, swing bounce in SENA countries.
It would be great if India replace Ishant Sharma with a spinner and India going in the match with an extra batsman and 4 main spinners and Ashwin, Axar Patel, Sundar and since Jadeja is injured and we can go with Kuldeep in the team. In the past India used to play with 3 and 4 spinners and no one complained about that and every team will play according to their strength and there is nothing wrong in it.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India makes ownership of Bitcoin criminal offense - How to respond? on: March 01, 2021, 02:18:54 PM
I am still hopeful that the finance minister will reject the bill in its present form and go for a regulatory bill similar to what the Russian parliament approved a few days back. All that said, I don't think that mass unrest is a viable option. During the last two years, there have been several incidents of mass unrest against proposed legislations (such as Article 370, farmers bill, CAA.etc). But none of them were fruitful.
For all the unlawful laws they introduced they will probably pay when it comes to the next elections, the farm bill protest is one of the biggest since the independence and look at the elections that took place in Punjab after that. The cryptocurrency community is not here to raise protest, the groups that includes the exchanges owners created an influence group to make them understand the situation and explain what a ban could do to the market and that is the only solution that can make these ignorant politicians understand the ground reality.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Why should i invest in bitcoin or other cryptos ? on: March 01, 2021, 11:43:34 AM
Why should i invest in bitcoin or other cryptos ?
You should not invest in bitcoin or any other coin in the cryptocurrency market, the market is not for everyone to try their luck and try to make money and if you or anyone thinks that there are many other platforms that make sense to you it is your decision and choice.

If you buy land, each year even if you don't work it you get weeds ... if you dry them you can use them to make a fire ...and in turn that generates energy ...
Meaning: that piece of land is giving you a dividend each year .
Where's my dividend if i invest in crypto ?
So purchase a land and dig toilet and ask other to defecate and earn money that way rather than investing in bitcoin Tongue.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: dogecoin's withdrawal stuck on: February 28, 2021, 11:27:56 PM
The withdrawal was canceled 2 days ago but you didn't send me the new withdrawal. Also,I didn't receive comunications. In the chat, they are continuing to say that they are waiting informations from the "Manager"..but they are not saying me nothing..
It is really frustrating to wait for two week to get a withdrawal and the price had a major correction from that situation and still you are waiting for the transaction is super irritating to say the least. It is better to avoid sites like these which tests your patience and i was following the thread to know what is happening and i thought your problems were sorted and hence you went silent but for the situation to continue indefinitely is unacceptable.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, I salute your final ATH. on: February 28, 2021, 10:22:58 PM
My original calculations were a little off and I did not expect fake news to push bitcoin's last bull run as high as ~$58k. The power of fake news is powerful. So there it is, the highest price bitcoin will ever see -- $58k. The next decade will be the story of the unwinding of bitcoin and all the chaos that will unfold as that process plays out. Congrats to anyone who sold at $58k, and good luck to the rest. I hope everyone is able to find an exit soon enough not to lose everything. Cheers, everyone. It's been a fun experiment, but this is the official, confirmed end.
I did not understand you philosophical undertone  Tongue. If you are able to make a huge profit and was able to sell the coin at the all time high valuation , congrats on your profit but to think that we will not ever see those valuations again is a bit too bold of an statement as we already know that the price would always touch those valuation in due time.
87  Economy / Exchanges / Re: For Coinbase Satoshi Nakamoto is a Risk Factor on: February 28, 2021, 08:53:43 PM
We all know that Satoshi associated addresses have a lot of Bitcoins, but is Satoshi really deserving to be in Risk Factor category?
May be everyone who invested huge amounts and running a business are worried that Satoshi Naakamoto as a risk factor because of the huge amount of coins he is holding and his appearance after a decade might have a major say in the market if he ever returns and so is the reason you see a hostile attack on anyone claiming to be Satoshi so that the real Satoshi will stay away fearing the attack  Cheesy.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich have too much on: February 28, 2021, 08:15:24 PM
It is not all about money, it just looks like those people with fortunate life or those rich people became good at laws just because of knowledge and not of money. If you have good knowledge then there would be no problem in terms of that thing because knowledge is always the asset for every aspect of our lives.
I did not understand what you are trying to tell, someone who is an expert in law can be rich ?  Roll Eyes. There are two ways to make money, work hard and study hard and you can make a good career if not if you are smart enough then you will identify something that is required for the masses and if you can come up with a business then you can be successful. In both you need luck determination and hard work to be successful .
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria will overtake India in P2P on: February 28, 2021, 04:24:40 PM
The Indian government is composed of some illiterate idiots who were elected to power just because they enjoy widespread support in the slum areas. A lot of illiterates in India support them, because of the freebie culture. And now coming to usage of PayPal in India, the government made it almost impossible for PayPal to operate and therefore they closed down the operations inside India.
I can resonate with your sentiment as the BJP government are willing to fool the poor and the way they are killing the democracy is by purchasing the power in many states. They either sent investigating teams to frighten the opposition and give them the option to shift to their party or else face imprisonment. Unless these idiots are removed from power we cannot foresee a promising future.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Better than before on: February 27, 2021, 11:45:23 PM
this bull season is not like 2017s, we don't have powerful people buying BTC this crazily in the past, crypto was never this popular and more supported in the past, Tesla, mastercard, PayPal, Microstrategy etc where not here before, even if the bull is slowly fading the high adoption rate still stands
The bull run this time is completely different than we had in the past as there are many institutional investors and big companies investing heavily in the market while in the past we knew that there were some huge investments coming in but had no clear picture about those investors but now things are more clear. The only question i have is whether these adoption is because of fears of economic slowdown due to pandemic and the fear of inflation and are they investing in bitcoin as an alternative market.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial freedom and success comes from knowledge on: February 27, 2021, 10:56:09 PM
As you know clever people are always in demand. But usually they are not traders, they are cool IT-managers, economists, layers, surgeons, owners of huge corporations (last ones usually finish some cool universities like Harvard or Yale and inherit their family business). If they invest in crypto they do this just for fun and to be in trend. They really become famous and rich because of their knowledges.
Anyone in a good position will invest in other financial assets, if you are not having the time either you hire someone to look after your portfolio and they will update you about the market situation and you give the green signal according to their research whether it is switching the stocks or mutual funds or anything financial related about the assets you are holding.

To be successful in life all you need is common sense and you need to follow those right from your education and then getting a job and then building your career and everything follows.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for the dump on: February 27, 2021, 06:53:35 PM
What a smart individual would do is either continue holding in the event that he needn't bother with cash any time soon. Subsequently, there is no an ideal opportunity to hang tight for the landfill on the grounds that at any point in the near future the market will develop.
If you are looking to book your profit it is a wise decision to book them if you think that the market could go down. Assuming that the investment you make are extra funds you should book profit once in a while rather than holding for the infinite long term and for that you need to study the market trends carefully and sell everything once the trend reverses and wait for the market to settle down to enter once again at the bottom.

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just won $7560 by Staking my DIVI. I'm speechless! WOW on: February 27, 2021, 04:42:24 PM
I've been staking my 50k DIVI for like a few months now and was SHOCKED when I checked my wallet today, with a balance above 300K DIVI. (I won 252,000 DIVI)

I have never won anything in my life, not sure what to do with myself, perhaps I should buy a real lottery ticket today as well  Cheesy

I'm definitely going to continue staking this, knowing I'll probably never be this lucky again, but who knows?  Grin
Congrats on winning a good amount and i checked the coin thinking i would try my luck but it is not listed in any exchange that are popular and i am not sure whether it will be risk in trying my luck as the price of the coin is not that big either. Do not risk too much with your big win, invest wisely and multiply your profits, i need to check out coins for staking as i was staying away from everything after the last bear run.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am curious about people's opinion of DeFi projects and coins on: February 26, 2021, 11:57:01 PM
Basically, between DeFi and CeFi, it has its own good and bad points, so what we want with the current financial system. So i think there will be irreplaceable that between DeFi and cefi will combine to bring people the best services and products.
I am always confused with these new Jargon, what is CeFi. I am yet to identify what special package these DeFi is giving where the centralized financial system is not providing. All i can see is high interest loans and everyone thanking the DeFi platform for that, i can get better deals with government and other centralized loans. May be in the future we might see some changes but now i am still confused with the implications other than just jargon .
95  Economy / Economics / Re: JP Morgan says large firms will not follow Tesla's bitcoin move on: February 26, 2021, 11:35:47 PM
Of course now they are ready to promote bitcoin related products to their clients, suddenly bitcoin is a legit asset to invest in.
It is a double bluff, they try to have a smear campaign for the longest time knowing that no one will sue them because he is trying to talk against a decentralized market and they were in the headlines whenever bitcoin was mentioned and now they are providing service to their clients because even with all the smear campaign investors are readily investing and now they need to join the party to keep the business rolling  Cheesy.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook agrees to makes payments to Australia on: February 25, 2021, 05:15:04 PM
It seems that it is actually possible to come to an agreement. Facebook has to pay a tax for using news from Australian media. I would really like to see Europe using a fair taxation for the income generated in Europe as opposed to the current massive lassier-faire.
If all the countries start to ask to pay taxes for the news published it is not going to be a great business model for anyone. If Facebook really agrees and bow down to the Australian government then they will be bowing down to all the government around the world and having a control over the contents published by the government is not a good sign.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas problem to be resolved in July on: February 25, 2021, 12:00:48 AM
The people can't send or spam the network with the gas that exceed the limitation. How much low and high limitation for the gas is not yet determined.
It's not weird coz everything needs process
The expectation is the EIP1599 proposal will sort the gas issue and it is hard to predict whether it will sort the problems if you look at the issues and think that spamming the network is the reason for these backlogs and network congestion as no one in the right sense will be spending money to harm the network. There are many shit coins in the market and the deFi craze has created these situation rather than someone deliberately spamming the network.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 24, 2021, 07:25:52 PM
Contrary to the expectations the D/N match offered no special assistance to the pacers. Perhaps England made a mistake by picking three pacers (Jofra Archer, Stuart Broad and James Anderson). They could have replaced one of their pacers with Dom Bess. Ben Stokes can also bowl some medium pace, so essentially there are four pacers in the playing XI now. But their bowlers are not going to make any difference in this match. First of all, their batsmen need to make a decent total, so that the bowlers have at least some target to keep in mind.
In the first Test i thought Dom Bess bowled well and picked wickets and i thought it was an unfair decision by not playing him after that match and playing with 4 fast bowlers in a dusty pitch looks funny  Cheesy. India included an extra spinner in Washington Sundar but he did not even get a chance to bowl a single delivery as Ashwin and Axar Patel bowled majority of the overs and picked all the wickets.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Big test for Bitcoin during the next Economic Collapse. on: February 22, 2021, 08:35:42 PM
Bitcoin has been criticized as a medium “for speculation”. Big test. Is it just merely “for speculation”, or an actual “safe haven”? Will Bitcoin crash together with the rest of the economy, or will everyone run to it as a Store of Value?
If you take these situation into account, we are seeing huge investments from corporate and institutional investors in recent times and the worrying economic situation globally during and after the pandemic must be the real reason many are using the bitcoin market as a hedge if something bad happens. If not there is no way billions are pouring in just recently when there were ample time to accumulate before the pandemic.

If there is a financial crisis you might see the reflection in every sector and that includes the cryptocurrency market but we might see huge investments as well.
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Unable to trade because of my nationality on: February 22, 2021, 07:56:22 PM
By the way you might also use exchanges like changelly .. not sure if they require KYC but I used them many times and haven't verified anything yet.
If you are trying to convert huge amounts then they will ask you to fill in the KYC and will ask you to send a picture of you holding your ID card but if it is small amounts there is nothing to worry but there are many other conversion sites that does not require you to login.

@OP you can use DEX and you can use Changelly or ChangeNOW or similar sites to convert the bitcoin to the coin of your choice to trade in DEX and find a site in your location to convert stable coins to fiat currency or try sites like Bisq .
