I think this is something most people forget to do, they should keep files of all their various accounts so they can be accessed by their family members if they die. Maybe they want to read about what you were up to and get to know you better if they didn't have enough time to spend with you before.

Exchanges are super hungry to gobble up any new customers they can and keep them from joining other exchanges. It is why we see all the big exchanges offering promotions like how coinbase gave away free crypto for watching a few tutorials on how they work.

I never want to laugh at anyone that lost a lot of money but I will say that BCH increased more than BTC after that last market low back in December, I have some friends that bought BCH at $80 and cashed out at $400.
I'm guessing Roger is at least a billionaire, and I'm sure he genuinely believes he is doing the right thing. I do see his argument about peer to peer cash system but there are other altcoins that do that even better and I still don't own any significant amount of BCH.

The average modern human works more hours than someone did as a hunter gatherer. Of course if you care about technology and stuff you prefer moder time. I disagree about 20-40 years ago as well, people were paid a lot more compared to know and it was easier to afford housing and education.
30 years ago 35% of the world population lived in extreme poverty, now number is less than 10%. Do tell me more how people made more money back then. In countries like the United States it was a lot easier to live, Wages have dropped while CEO pay and wealth inequality has grown. I had relatives making the equivalent of $40 in today's money out of high school in a factory. Now people are lucky to be paid 10 bucks an hour in a lot of places. And look how much more it costs for a college degree compared to the 1960s and 1970s. |

Banks are very well regulated by governments and they must obey central bank laws and guidelines, I believe the lack of clear laws on bitcoin and exchanges is at the root of barclays decision of the not to provide their services to coinbase. I read this news: Controversial UK Party Becomes Nation’s First to Reveal Crypto Policywe can already imagine that dark times are coming in the uk But banks constantly disobey the laws and take money from their customers. They end up paying a small fine relative they stole and they continue to do the same predatory practices. Don't trust laws and regulations when the people making the laws are bribed by bankers. |

No gambler would risk his money just to lose, we all want to win and enjoy at the same time as it's the most satisfying feeling we will experience when gambling. However, the reality is that our expectation is not happening, that's why more gamblers are losing which results to a prosper of business for the gambling sites operators.
They say that gambling is fun, yes it is especially when we win, but since we can't change that reality, we just have to convince ourselves that we have no chance of winning all the time or even most of the time. Wise gambler would say that gamble for fun just to minimize your loses because when you think it's just for fun, it's easier to let go your loses.
Its just the hope that lets people fantasize about being rich. If they had realistic expectations they wouldn't get the surge of dopamine from thinking about their fantasy. It is fun when you are experiencing it with your friends, betting against each other on sports, and knowing when to walk away. |

People put too high a bearing on forum rank, doesn't mean your a good member with good thoughts, just means you have a lot of free time to spend on this forum. I don't really pay much attention the merit system either, I think friends and fellow high ranks tend to merit each other more and a lot of shenanigans go on in the local boards.

Lol, this is very informative, I can't imagine that some people are even living above their earning to the extent of having debt. Could it be that their cost of living is high? If the cost of living is high, then they should cut it down, because no one can tell me that it is tax that does that.
I have made attempt several times to relocate to the united states, but they kept discouraging me that the standard of their living is too high and that they paid tax a lot, and this makes me wonder why someone would earn $58,000 in a year and only able to save $11000, is that not too low? What exactly did they spend their money on? Groceries or what? My country, with that $58000, I will surely save at least $30000 per year. For me, I am still able to save at least.
Not everyone can just cut their cost of living at will. People have medical expenses that aren't cheap and school in the United States is very expensive if you want to get a degree in something. Housing costs are continually rising and employers aren't increasing wages of their employees except for high level executives. |

I really don't think gamblers are looked down upon the same way drug addiction is. Gambling can cause you financial trouble but doesn't effect your physical health in the way drugs can. A lot of the biggest celebrity names like to gamble including Michael Jordan.

There are tons of other languages like that as well, most software developers know at least 2 or 3 of course but there are newbies who are good at just one. Think of blockchain developers like that, just a software developer who learned Java, than phyton and now blockhain, and applies for that kind of jobs, its gonna get only bigger.
Exactly, so if you are a software developer who have that kind of skills, you should at least jump on the bandwagon and go with blockchain technology. At least you are going to be flexible and more options to get a job in the future. And this has just started, this is a niche market pretty small if you look at it today. But down five years from now, more company are going to shift from their legacy database and move to blockchain because of the many advantages of it. So it's a good thing to have a plan b for software developers, learn blockchain and you are definitely in for the future. I don't think it is worth it to study blockchain technology for a job because the field is really niche and the amount of available jobs are really low. Why would companies move over from traditional databases to a decentralized one? Blockchain databases are slow and costly compared to what we have now. |

I have been seeing a lot more gambling ads recently. A lot on facebook when I was using their marketplace and a lot on my Amazon Fire Tablet. Nearly every time I turn my tablet on the first page is a gambling ad for virtual slot machines or some other game.

All of those "leaders" are subject to control and influence by the real world elite. The strongest are in the ruling dynasties of the Rothschilds, The Vatican, and the British Crown.
I agree with you, none of these leaders have any real power. The real controllers are behind the scenes pulling the strings and people like Trump is just a puppet. Whoever controls the banking system has the ultimate power. |

Isn't it strange that someone sends all those coins to one address? That is, if I do not want to make a fuss, I will divide coins into smaller addresses and so on.
Anyone who wants to transfer Big amount like that aims to make a media fuss about it. Perhaps manipulation of prices or any other purpose, but is a known party/exchange/person/company and not anonymous.
Whales like to do this often, they move around huge amounts of coins so people think they are being dumped on the market causing the prices to crash and then they can pick up more cheap coins I suspect that one of the top 10 wealthiest people in the world hold at least 1 billion dollars in bitcoin. Everything is fake, its all a just a faith based system. It just matters that the person your exchanging goods or services with accepts what you are offering.
It is really just manipulation by others, even bitcoin is controlled heavily by the whales and miners but it is the best decentralized system we have so far.
