81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the brain wallet not better than regular paper wallet? on: August 27, 2019, 11:47:01 AM
Brain wallet is the safest method if your words are random and you have a good memory.  The only downfall is if you die and you don't have a back up system to share your coins.  Of course this isn't an issue if you don't have anyone besides yourself.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming Financially Free With Bitcoin on: August 27, 2019, 11:42:53 AM
Problem is a lot of people are living paycheck to paycheck and have no extra income to invest into bitcoin.  They are stuck in a cycle of poverty and the people in charge do everything they can to keep people poor and desperate so they can have cheap labor.
83  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Basefex.com (CEO Jesse Wu and HGO Randolf G) scam stole 3 BTC on: August 26, 2019, 01:43:36 PM
Thank you for coming here and adressing these concerns.

I don't see how it would be possible to prove either of the allegations tho.

However I don't see exactly how a DDos attack would enable them to make more winning trades vs the other users...

I agree completely, Basefex could just be making this whole thing up because they don't want to pay this guy a few btc.  Its not even a large amount of money, probably best for their exchange to just pay this guy off so he goes quiet.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Zipmex Is Giving Free $15 Bitcoins on: August 26, 2019, 01:36:59 PM
$15 is very cheap to acquire a new customer.  They are doing it because it is a smart business move.  It is the same with crypto casinos giving out 20 dollars in free spins, they make more money then they are spending on customer acquisitions.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: August 26, 2019, 01:31:54 PM
Go back further in time to 2009-2010 and you might get super depressed on how cheap bitcoin was.  I often think about it myself and what I was doing at the time.  Really unfortunate that I didn't stumble across bitcoin in the early days.
86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: yobit about to take off ? on: August 26, 2019, 11:56:25 AM
I still use Yobit and haven't had any issues with them.  You can find upset customers for every exchange and business.  That being said, I would always suggest moving your coins off any exchange because you never know when one will close up shop.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Humans Gamble since 3000BC, and Governments still try to ban on: August 26, 2019, 11:49:33 AM
Most governments actually encourage gambling as long as it is done through legal channels and mostly state run lotteries.  They pull in a huge amount of revenue from the lottery and gullible people continue to buy those tickets not knowing the astronomical odds of winning.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign on: August 26, 2019, 11:47:16 AM
This is an old thread and now it's resurrected, you want to participate in signatures but your rank is still low
And it's been a year and you still haven't ranked up yet. As almost everyone have said, you need to be at least a Jr. Member in order to join a signature campaign. But in order to rank up, you have to gain merits. As we all know, merits are so precious and they are very hard to earn. Even I am struggling. So I suggest that before asking which campaign to join, you should probably focus on contributing informative posts here in the forum; may it be a new thread or a response. Once you're able to rank up, then there'll be opportunities for you to join a good signature campaign.

I've checked op's account and he was active almost a year ago. Seems like there's really a small chance for him to rank up for now. But once he's active again, I hope he consider following our advice for him 'cause, after all, we're just trying to help.

I think it mostly depends on what sections you post in if you want to earn merits.  Not many are handed out in altcoin boards, try going to the technical discussion or meta sub forums if you want to get some merits handed to you.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the difference between binary option and gambling? on: August 26, 2019, 11:41:04 AM
Trading at least requires some knowledge and skill unlike gambling which is purely luck.  Exchanges that do up to 100x leverage have become very popular recently and have lead to a lot of people being liquidated of all their bitcoins.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 5 Reasons to NOT Buy or Mine Litecoin LTC in 2019/2020 | Profitability 2019 on: August 26, 2019, 11:33:54 AM
Here is the deal LTC developers did some shady shit the first year it was built. I believe the builder could use Gpus to mine for many months while others could only mine with CPU’s.

Kano has gone into detail on this and I did some research it does appear that LTC developers did that years ago.

It was more than that, too many shady things happened, I know most of them, reason I never invested in ltc, ltc has always been a way to scam for bitcoin. That is why it was created, ltc's creator, charlie lee, won't say that but its the truth.

I really don't like LTC and Charlie Lee dumped his own bags, whos to say satoshi won't do the same some day?  Of course I respect bitcoin a lot more than litecoin, but it s shady as well.  Some anonymous guy  or team creates a coin and mines about 1 million for himself then disappears from this forum.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: For serious investors (Daily Passive Incomes) on: August 23, 2019, 12:27:43 PM
You can get passive income also on more trusted exchanges such are: Kucoin, COSS, Bibox, Bridgecoin.

But will those dividend coins outperform bitcoin gains? I don't think so.  Kucoin and Coss were hot investments for awhile but the volume on those exchanges has shrunk a lot.  But your money to better use and don't buy their tokens.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beauty Contest Gambling on: August 23, 2019, 12:22:58 PM
This should where I heard such like beauty contest gambling platforms, I thought that it was done within the beauty industry and not in the general. If I am to gamble on the basis of beauty, I will like to go for looks and popularity and nothing more. How can one get the site where this contest usually take place to get accustom with the practice.

The problem is that it is really subjective and unless you know the preference of the judges you will be at a disadvantage for betting.  This event is too easy to rig compared to sport matches which would be really obvious.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: August 23, 2019, 12:19:09 PM
Altcoins have served some niche roles that Bitcoin can't fill.  Bitcoin isn't anonymous like privacy coins so most dark web users have moved over t privacy coins.  Also bitcoin fees can be quite high so people like to use altcoins to move funds from one exchange to another.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice on how best to protect your capital on: August 22, 2019, 04:31:56 AM
OP using this type of attitude you would have undoubtedly thought bitcoin was a scam back in 2009-2010.  Some anonymous guy creating money while he stockpiled a huge supply himself.  That whole thing looks like a scam.  Sometimes you have to believe in "fairy tales" that do come true, the mind can be too rational at times without believing in magic.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 22, 2019, 04:30:12 AM
Still wondering if Seattle will ever get a team again, I've heard that the NBA has been considering expanding to 32 teams and is eyeing Seattle and Las Vegas as potential locations.  Nothing against OKC but it is dumb they represent the supersonics history for records.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: HODL! U.S. debt Alarm on: August 22, 2019, 04:25:53 AM
The debt doesn't even matter, don't be fooled.  Its all just a magic show they put on us to trap us and keep us controlled.  What matters is hard scientific breakthroughs that really change our lives and when the ones in power want to use it for evil they will destroy us.
97  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should Andrew Yang Give Everyone Unlimited Money? on: August 22, 2019, 04:21:50 AM
The vast majority of people need to give in order to be truly happy....

There are countless thousands of times I have NOT GIVEN in order to further my own happiness.

There are a few times if have given to further my own happiness.

One sort of time I never give is when someone is telling everyone they have to give to be truly happy.

So If I tell everyone they have to not give in order to be happy that you will actually give more? Smiley Smiley

The whole monetary concept is really dumb if you break it down and if there was an advanced alien civilization they wouldn't waste time on such stupid matters.  Point blank, the earth has more than enough resources for everyone we just have not been able to structure a capable system yet.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is by no Means a Japanese on: August 22, 2019, 04:15:03 AM
He could be Japanese, its one of those things when you know the person suspecting you wouldn't think you are stupid enough to use a name similar to your heritage.  Satoshi is still one of the greatest mysteries of the 21st century.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge coin is good or bad for investment ? on: August 21, 2019, 12:44:01 PM
Doge will remain a shitcoin and this time it won't rebound in price.  It will eventually reach 1 satoshi and then continue to crash to sub satoshis level.  Serious crypto investors aren't buying doge, it is a total joke and if you hold this long term you are a fool.
100  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a Partner/shop/retailer to resell my designer clothes on: August 21, 2019, 12:41:26 PM
Accepting crypto as payment is not a problem for me.
I am already selling locally but it's slow , although I haven't tried selling on Facebook groups that might be an option. However, I'm looking for a buyer to take all my products in bulk as that would allow me  to save time.
Ideal partner would be someone who has a shop like eBay or some alternative.

I understand your frustrations because it is a cut throat business. I have a family friend who's in the same business line as yours many years ago, but they quit because it's really hard to get buyers. I would suggest that you keep selling locally though, its your best chance to grow. As for this community, I don't want to burst the bubble for you, but I don't think that there will be someone to pick up your business proposals here. People here are more on the digital products, just saying. But good luck to you.

You just don't understand the market he is in, first off the type of people he will be selling to won't be using crypto.  He will be doing the bulk of his business with credit card transactions.  These things sell like hotcakes if he knows where to sell his goods.  It is very easy to get buyers.

Crypto people generally don't care about fashionable clothes so OP is most likely wasting his time on this forum.
