181  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: July 22, 2017, 11:53:17 AM
A little bit of both, bitcoin is great for saving, because of its potential to grow in value. That said, it could also lose value, keep that in mind. The best way to go about it though is holding and spending when the need arises. The eco system needs people to spend and spread adoption.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why hasn't everyone switched to Monero already? on: July 22, 2017, 11:00:34 AM
Because monero is time wasting.
I found that project and liked it very much 6 months ago. and i invested. Waited for a few months. And there was no any even minor change at the price. But other projects were jumping like hell. so i sold them for the same price after 3 months. Now the price is 0.0149 btc. when i bought it it was 0.017. So good that i sold them all.

You speak as an investor, there is more to monero than just holding and waiting for a profit. Others will point to the fact that recently its price is more or less stable.

184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who use Litecoin for gambling here? on: July 21, 2017, 07:26:47 PM
I don't understand why LTC not popular..
Our game created for LTC.
Need add bitcoin soon.

Thanks.

LTC has a lot of potential, but bitcoin dwarfs every other coin. I used LTC to gamble when directbet.eu was still operational, but nowadays, I have decided to keep my LTC, hold for some time and see if the price gains value.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Can’t Cryptocurrencies Replace FIAT? on: July 21, 2017, 05:32:50 PM
Cryptocurrencies don't necessarily have to replace fiat. It could in the distant future, but the major concern now is adoption. There is nothing easier to spend like paper money, and there lies the advantage. Cryptocurrencies for now will do well to be adopted enough for day to day goods and services. Not everyone have access to the internet, just look at the developing world, when it becomes freely and readily available + cheap and affordable, you can worry about the block chain taking over.
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 Football Summer Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 21, 2017, 04:20:17 PM
I think Neymar is really interested in signing with PSG Because of being accused of illegal hidden contract with Barcelona. So this case affects on his performance a lot. If he will join with French club then he can perform his natural performance without hassle. In terms of this case I don't take as a rumor. Every summer transfer this type of rumor we face so this time can be true....

What is rumored about the departure of Neymar for the PSG is not true .. The player is happy in Barcelona

Manchester United and Chelsea both pulled out of the race for Neymar after it was revealed the total cost of the deal would be £440million. The Premier League giants were both interested in bringing the Barcelona star to England. Not only was his release fee £195m, but his wages would have cost whopping £245m over the course of the five-year deal, with Neymar set to pocket around £480,000-a-week after tax.

Neymar wont be sold by barcelona, they need neymar there because few more years we wont really see messi there anymore. Even if there is a club that is willing to pay all those money, barcelona will not sell him because they need him in the future. In the end those club will just be making stupid effort on trying to bid him

I think the future of Neymar in Barcelona depends on Neymar himself. I think as long as he is happy and has no problem, he will not go from Barcelona. Because I'm sure if the club does not want to sell it, so it all depends on Neymar himself.
Neymar going to PSG might be possible as there is another player that PSG wants that is Christiano Ronaldo for around 132 million Euros, the reason why Neymar would go to PSG is that Neymar once said that he wanted to play with both Messi and Ronaldo . But PSG won't be able to afford Neymar and Ronaldo at the same time. But then if they do, PSG's attack(Neymar,Ronaldo,Di Maria, and Cavani) would be a destructible force  that will wreck any team which would come in their way.

I rather think that Neymar wants a move because he is tired to be under the shadow of Lionel Messi and with the addition of Suarez, people are see Neymar as the third person in the trio with Messi leading and Suarez the second man, Neymar is already a world class player and a move away from the catalan side will let the world know how good a player he is without Messi and Suarez overshadowing him.

There are strong rumours that his father will get 100s of millions for the transfer and neymar being the face of the Qatar WC 2022... And Neymar was annoyed that barca didnt buy his friends and his fathers clients like lima and paulinho. STOP THIS CLOWNERY. Let the guy GO!. Let him enjoy league1 and Qatar WC while Messi and Ronaldo keeps the spotlight in two big clubs.
187  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: July 21, 2017, 03:14:40 PM
Good idea, nothing wrong with it. I so wish someone will gift me some coins right now. It could lead to some lost coins, but if the gifter takes the time to educate the gifted about bitcoins, it could help with adoption. My feeling is assuming the price shoots up in a few years, the receiver interest will pique, assuming they forget all about the coins in the interim.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Bitcoin pump on: July 20, 2017, 07:31:45 PM
Right now we see a 10% pump of Bitcoin, anyone could explain me the reason? Isn't it going to dump this weekend?
Do you have any evidence this is a pump? The price hovered around around the current price for weeks on end before the dip. Could this be an upward correction instead? You could be right, but nobody here can tell exactly what it is. There are too many players and factors in this game.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most ICO's are SCAM ? on: July 20, 2017, 06:46:05 PM
A fool and his money are easily parted. I don't blame the scammy ICO's, I blame the public that buy into these scams. Any reasonable investor worth his salt would do a thorough background check, before giving their money to total strangers on the internet. Some of these ICO's have nothing to tangible to show, their management teams non - existent but yet people give them money because some stranger on the bitcointalk says it is okay to.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is sick again on: July 20, 2017, 05:57:07 PM
I think it will rise again  Cool
definitely, eth has been dump on the few days ago but before this week ends as long as with bitcoin, they are all together regain its price and keeping their price bigger than before. they may be dump but they will rise again.
hahah, for sure Eth was sick and bleeding, but doctor bitcoin is nursing it back to health gradually. It is uncanny how the price of both coins are intricately linked, I wonder for how long.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Bitcoin on BBC News Front Page on: July 20, 2017, 05:05:31 PM
Read the report, its all about the Alphabay shut down. I read somewhere that the closing of both Hansa and Alphabay had a lot to do with the price dip last week. Especially for Eth. People may see this as negative news, but not for me. These darkmarkets, as much as I don't like them have played huge roles in making crypto technology mainstream.Without the silk roads and alphabays, I very much doubt if cryptotech will be where it is today.
192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying and Selling Cryptocurrencies on: July 20, 2017, 03:58:13 PM
I don't think you jump straight into trading. It is not an easy job at all. Judging by your post, I'd say you are not ready for it. The best thing in my opinion will be to buy some bitcoin, If it is the coin of your choice, then sit on it for a few months and years if you can mange it. It will save you a lot of stress and losses. Then take your time to study how exchanges and the crypto markets work, before trading. I am not knocking trading at all, there are some people making good profits from it, but this is because they know what they are doing.

Yeah righ! Let me guess, we have to pay a small price in advance to have the privilege of joining your club or whatever it is you call your selves?

Interesting to see that some think the dump is over? Was there a dump? Hasn't bitcoins and most crypto currencies with some value always fluctuated? I see Eth as recovered somewhat. Good!

197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 15, 2017, 08:08:59 PM
It wasn't a poor final, as many people seem to be suggesting. It was a poor second set. The first set was top class, in terms of quality and intensity. Muguruza maintained (or even slightly raised) her level in the second set, and Venus wasn't able to stay with her (for potentially a variety of reasons).

Also, how predictable, lazy and reductive to use a poor set of tennis as yet another stick to beat the women's game with. It's been a fascinating, exciting, high quality tournament on the women's side and had Venus been able to raise her game, the final would've been incredible but the young'un won the physical and mental battle.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go under 2000 dollars until august 1? on: July 15, 2017, 03:30:28 PM
It is very likely, It is hovering above $2000 now. no need to panic though, expect record spikes in a few weeks if mr seg wit makes the network faster, and transaction fees better. If you bought lower than $2000 you are still in profit, those that bought higher would be advised to sit tight and wait until august.

200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: July 14, 2017, 08:22:44 PM
There is bad news for Leipzig as ther participation of the Leipzig in the Champions League has become questionable as EU investigators said the German club could not compete with the Red Bull Salzburg team at the same time because of the rules of ownership. they were agreed to compete in in the Championsleague earlier but both teams failed to prove that they will be fair in the competetion and In this case, the Salzburg team will be able to participate as the Austrian champions, while the Leipzig team will be eliminated because they are second in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich. However, the European Union's judicial chamber opened a case in which Salzburg was able to prove that the cooperation between the two clubs had ended, and that Red Bull's membership in the council had expired, and Red Bull's sponsorship agreements had been amended. The European Union also stated that there was insufficient evidence that one club exercised decisive influence over the other. So both teams need to be carefull with their meetings in the futur.

Both teams  were both cleared by UEFA on the 20th of June, so there are no issues if and when they meet in the champions league. As far as there is no evidence of collusion, they will be fine.
