321  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: June 19, 2017, 05:02:48 PM
The price seems to be stabilising around $2k5, If you bought over $2k, it wouldnt hurt to hold for a while, maybe for another 6 months minimum to see if it hits $3k5 - $5k. If you bought below $1000, it makes sense selling now and keeping some for when it appreciates futher. One thing is for sure, the price will keep increasing.
322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: June 19, 2017, 02:33:51 PM

If you don't have a big budget, investing in cheap and promising cryptocurrencies is a good strategy for the long term. If and when bitcoins and other alts become mainstream they will definitely increase in value. Coins like doge, steem, digibyte and more. Good luck.

324  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Report Scamer : Vbitexchange on: June 19, 2017, 12:18:39 PM
i hope all is well and ends well.  i know im a newbie here i also need a exchanger who are trusted i hope this issue will resolved and have a good business to each other

Dont trust anybody on this forum, even the green trusted accounts. Accounts are bought and sold everyday on this forum. And trusted members have been known to scam large amounts of bitcoins. Always use escrow no matter how cumbersome and time consuming it may seem. It will save you a lot of pain in the long run. Obviously the op has been scammed, and I doubt he will ever get his money back.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How can I buy ethereum? on: June 19, 2017, 10:34:38 AM
It is difficult to find a seller that will accepts paypal or credit cards , you can try local bitcoins, there are a few traders there that accept paypal for bitcoins and the popular alts like eth. You can also try this website : https://cex.io/buy-ethereum, I never used them before, so do your due diligence first.
326  Other / Meta / Re: People who ought to leave Bitcointalk on: June 19, 2017, 01:26:26 AM
This forum attracts all sorts of people, and this is what makes it one of the best forums around.

You have the enthusiasts and true believers discussing, exchanging ideas, seeking information and updates on bitcoins and crypto currencies in general.

The developers and geeks, interested in the technology and how to make it better or worse, whatever rocks their boat.

Then the start-up founders, digital currency investors, gambling casinos, gamblers,  business people, traders, service providers, currency exchangers, lenders, scammers, scam busters, signature campaigners etc etc. 99% of members here are trying to get paid, with many looking to make a quick buck.

Pretending you are here for other reasons, whilst wearing a paid signature - avatar and criticising other members for doing the same is downright hypocritical.

Yes, there is a lot of drivel being posted but I have a new found respect for signature campaigners. I figured I'd try it to earn a few bucks, but honestly it is a difficult job with shit pay. Being creative ain't easy, and for a lot of these guys it is the only way they know how to earn some bitcoin. You are welcome to use the ignore button.

These are within your budget; r7 370, r9 280x and r9 380x. But bear in mind  that the best solution isn't the graphics card that has the highest number of mega hashes, or the graphics card that is the most power efficient - you should go for a balance of what works best for you.

scammer and timewaster, be very careful dealing with op, before sending this idiot anything make sure your payment is escrowed upfront. I sent him an original article on monero, after going quiet for two weeks he came up with inane excuses not to pay, claiming he no longer needed such articles after expressly requesting it. He does not own a blog or website or at least he cannot point to one. I suspect he is trying to resell your work.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: June 18, 2017, 12:06:45 AM
It shouldn't really, but the increasing price drives adoption, as more people look to it as an investment with the hope of making a profit. On its own though, the technology is revolutionary and valuable regardless of its price.
331  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc reached the bottom for this week , correction and retest 3,000 $ ? on: June 17, 2017, 09:41:46 PM
I enjoy reading opinions of "traders" coming on here to quantify something they don't understand. The actual bubble is just barely starting to form, and the correction is being corrected -  Grin
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Websites on: June 17, 2017, 08:26:01 PM
I played at crypto-games.net for four straight hours and won 0.03 btc. autobetting works really good and its the fastest I've experienced. I tried the slot games, but lost a bit, anyone can play with various cryptocurrencies such as btc, ltc, dogecoin and more.

The dice house edge is 1%, and the slot house edge is 2%. crypto-games may not compete against the bigger and flashier bitcoin casinos with hundreds of games. It rather relies on its strengths: fast money transfers and four simple old school style games. All the games are provably fair.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: June 17, 2017, 07:21:57 PM
It could work if nationally backed blockchain  networks similar to bitcoins becomes the norm. I don't trust banks or any kind of third party entities that can freeze funds. It is imperative that individuals control their own money in a cashless society.

If you've ever had a charge declined on both of your credit cards and your debit card you become acutely aware that it isn't quite your money. You're sort of sharing it with the bank.

Yes, I've always been able to prove who I am but it is not too hard to imagine a more pervasive identity theft situation where the bank doesn't believe you. What then? Your life is effectively over.

I like the idea of a cash free society but the practical problems of implementing it are really daunting.

336  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: June 14, 2017, 08:18:23 PM
If the $$ usd losses value people will look to another currency for trade. The euro is the next in line, but should that fail too, crypto currencies would have every chance to stake a major claim as the main currency for international trade.

Don't forget gold too, it has been there since forever and most currencies are backed by it. This is all hypothetical as it would take a major disaster for the usd to crash to such levels.
Most currencies are not just backed by gold. More specifically, I do not know of any currency in the world which is officially backed by gold reserves of the country. All cash is now a wrapper which at any moment can turn into ashes.

What are gold reserves held by central banks in the USA, China etc for then? If not to secure their respective national currency? For some time now central banks around the world have turned from being net sellers of gold to net buyers of gold. with Russia and China accounting for most of the activity.

As we speak,  Venezuela is in the process of liquidating it's gold reserves to pay off her debts. The gold standard may have been abandoned since the depression of the 1930's but there is a good reason why central banks keep stockpiling as much as they can afford.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 14, 2017, 07:28:22 PM
which country is the VC based - Netherlands? any legal matters regarding regulatory it has to comply?

In the Netherlands, attorneys Maarten Jansen an Ruud de Kleijn are on the team. Other attorneys have done extensive background checks and the legal aspects are considered here https://www.reddit.com/r/dcorp/comments/6dcsnj/due_diligence_questions_disclaimerwhitepaper/

Please feel tree to contact Maarten and/or Ruud via Reddit or find their contact data on our website.

I was wondering how many people have joined Dcorp so far? Seems like a project with many different possibilities, it will be interesting to observe how it develops.

1668 people as of today (https://etherscan.io/token/0x621d78f2ef2fd937bfca696cabaf9a779f59b3ed)

Over 1700 investors is no mean feat, considering the short period of time since the ICO launched. It shows that a lot of investors have confidence in this project, nice.

340  Economy / Economics / Re: What don't you like about Banks and Banks controlling your money on: June 14, 2017, 10:53:23 AM
Banks are getting bigger by the day, and seemingly too big to fail, but this is not true. When they fail, they are a drain on our public finances - your taxes. funds that should be used in building roads, housing, affordable healthcare etc is used to bail these these parasitic corporations when they fail.
