With transaction costs rising above $1 the original promise of cheap remittance using Bitcoin is officially dead. Without utility Bitcoin use is limited to speculation only and even further what is there to speculate about?
I would like to debate this and gauge the community's response to Bitcoin experiment.
This post has to be the stupidest I've come across on this forum. even with the increased fees, bitcoins is still cheaper than most money transfer instruments. For tiny amount, it may not be ideal if compared to paypal or skrill, both those are centralized and can decide to keep your money with no recourse to you. I expect the fee issue to resolved at some point.

Last month, we have seen so many market analysts, investors and speculators telling us to go for Bitcoin as it can soon be hitting at least $10,000 in the next few years and even $5,000 at the end of the year. The picture seems to be so rosy that it also create some discomfort in some people.
The recent dip in the Bitcoin value put some halt to this rosy picture, albeit temporarily. There are still some who believe that this recent development is very temporary and that after the scaling problem can be solved we can see Bitcoin at its real potential.
What is current feel for Bitcoin's value considering its recent retreat?
Take everything the so called experts say with a pinch of salt. It is all speculation, manipulation is rife, pumps and dumps the new world order. How about seeing the technology for what it is, and using it accordingly regardless of the price? The price will rise, no doubt about it. It needs patience and there will be long periods of stagnation and dips.

Bitcoin has taken over the crypto currency market space. It is the biggest and best known digital currency. Many large companies accept bitcoin as a legitimate source of funds and allow their online products to be bought with bitcoins.
You may be holding your coins, but there are many individuals, companies and services using it for daily transactions. Adoption is increasing everyday. The hoarders may benefit in the long term, but those actually using the technology to do business are benefiting now. It is only a matter of time for bitcoin to spread further. You can help by spending some of your coins when possible.

Is there a correlation between the price of eth and bitcoin? It seems like every time bitcoin drops, eth dips too. I am not sure about other coins as I am invested in these two. Would it be wise to sell off my eth and just hold bitcoins? It keeps trying to go over $200 but keeps flailing.
The price may drop further, I see eth predictions as low as $120, this will be bearish for a while yet, and recovery will wait until bitcoins gains traction. If bitcoin dips further, expect sub $80 eth.

What a performance from Venus, I am very happy for her. She has had some distressing times off the court in the last 18 months, not to mention her health problems. Yet here she is, at thirty freaking seven! Hard work and class always shine through.

Most of people speculate bitcoin dump because of 1st Aug event. But this is one of my assumptions: most of people will withdraw their bitcoin to the wallet, there will be less bitcoin on exchange causing low supply >>> price will increase. What's your opinion?
Hopefully there will be panic sales before August 1st, and the price dip will be good for buying cheap coins. On the second, when it becomes obvious that there was no need to panic, the price will shoot back up for a tidy profit. Buy as much as you can on the the 30/31 July.

If only it was as easy as ABC. The conditions - rollover requirements - attached to these bonuses makes it to difficult to claim. It can be profitable though if applied well.

Hello everyone Which is the best website for trading altcoins, I know about these sites - YoBit - Poloniex Anyone know some other site???
Polo has issues and may be selective scamming. Or maybe they are just too busy to respond to their clients. Yobit services falls below the minimum standards a reliable exchange should provide. You should try Bittrex.

if you have money stuck in your betfair account and unable to withdraw for any reason then i will be able to transfer over to my betfair exchange account for a small commision as long as your account is not suspended. obviosly there has to be a lot of trust involved so you could limit your daily bets on your account, that way i can transfer it in daily incremants.
How do you propose to do this? Will you be matching bets between both accounts? I don't see any other way, even so, there is no guarantee that the bet placed by your account will win to effect the transfer. I hope you don't mind sharing your method? I am very curious and interested. I've done this several times and had no problems whatsoever. I'm unable to tell you exactly how I'll be doing it for obvious reasons but if your familiar with the exchange then it's easy to guess what and how I'll be doing. The thing is I'll be using my own legitimate account acting as the middleman and that's what the commission is for. It's 100% foolsafe method either your money will be transferred or worst case scenario it'll still be stuck in your account. I need to see it demonstrated before committing to anything. Nobody is going to risk money without an understanding of how the process works. If you change your mind, pm me for further discussions.

Boxing and 'fighting' are two different things. Its like driving a Bentley and riding a uni-cycle. Mayweather was one of the best natural boxers of all time and sadly the Irish guy will find out the hard way. The only get out clause he could have is to have a return fight under UFC rules... but I note the 'Money' isn't going to do that - he has too many brain cells - from hardly ever being punched because he was so good.
