What is the hasrates of CPUs vs the mobile? Do the mobile CPUs even have a chance to be competitive? Thanks!

If price goes under $100 ill be buying boat loads of BTCP
So you are saying that marketcap under 2 000 000 000 USD is cheap and that BTCP is a top17 coin out there.. I strongly doubt this is the case, but I have seen more crazy things in crypto already

Can someone tell me,testnet is work for now? Miner cant connect to:
btcp.multipools.club
btcp.suprnova.cc
testnet working on bitcoin private pool

Anyone has managed to run the cli wallet? Fetch params scrypt does not work for me
|

Approx 5:30h - 6h left until mainnet.. Everything ready here and yes, all settings will remain the same - you can just keep on mining like on testnet.
Will you be faster than bitcoin private mining pool? )

RareShares (RS) is an innovative cryptocurrency So a regular clone coin called innovative this days? RareShares has great potential for rapid growth and expansion Why is that? What differ you from another tons of same neoscr coins? Is there any mission for the project? If there was any potential the project leader wouldnt have problem disclosing his name and his team on the website. But he doesnt, so dont bother.

The development team should update the thread with the exact time the main net mining goes live, or at least tell us that they plan on releasing the mining start time. Otherwise this gives a mining advantage to whomever knows the exact launch time.
Sure, “a couple of days” after the snapshot is fine when updating on final QA but they should elaborate on this exactly when things are ready, then give a definitive time (preferably at least a few hours) for the main net launch so all the miners can start the race at the same time. I know suprnova usually switches from test to main automatically which is a solution for some but does not address the core issue.
Unless there is another valid reason for this such as avoiding chain splits or 51% attacks?
I agree exact date is needed - not fair and dangerous otherwise.

I have something similar. The issue with your file is that the most profitable coins are NOT on what to mine So it is a good IDEA to add your own algos and calculations. It is quite easy to connect to blockexplorers API to get the hashrate and also add price API from coinmarketcap ( if it is listed) or even better right from the exchange. Requires much more manual work though EDIT: I also think your nethhash24h calculation is not entirely correct

Dev-fee is too high and we are missing CUDA optimized miner. We already have OpenCL miner. So I suggest you lower the dev-fee and make a CUDA version.
Well technically OpenCL is not necessarily slower than CUDA. Usually is is only that most OpenCL codes are optimized for AMD and the OpenCL bindings of AMD are a bit more efficient. But generally I think improving the algorithms behind will bring more sol/s than changing to CUDA which would be a pain for me to learn By the way: my development and testing machines have Nvidia GPUs running under Linux. So the current version is rather optimized for NVidia. For AMD I only know that the miner works, but I am completely in the dark how fast it is. So at this time this is a Nvidia optimized software. By the way: I will surely lower the fee to 1% in the future. But right now I just have to get a start Thanks for the miner, but i dont really get how to start a 6 gpu rig Your comment with platform is confusing, i dont understand it at all Well you can have multiple drivers on your system, e.g. when you have graphic cards from multiple vendors in your rig. Then the OpenCL drivers are organized in platforms, so all cards belonging to the one vendor are in platform 0, all from the second in platform 1 and so on. As for the device selection the devices are sorted by their platform. Lets assume that you have all 6 GPUs from the same GPU Chip Vendor (AMD or Nvidia ... the concrete creator of the card (Gainward, MSI, ... ) do not matter). Then it is likely that you have only one platform on your machine that has index 0. So you then can start the miner just 6 times, but with different device parameter: --device 0 --device 1 ... --device 5 Then all cards should get utilized well. Thanks will try it out. I am also getting lilboost system md error on some rigs?

Excavator is amazing, stable and the speeds are usually very competitive. It will not last long and it will be the best miner out there for most of the algos.
a litle correction - Excavator it have potential to become amazing = true - Stable = sorry negative on equihash algoritm is like play rusion rulet now it work, now it crash for no particulary reason - Speeds = dev yes they work to tune & make it competitive but if miner is unstable & unrilable part with best miner out of discution, no offense today test run "1.4.3 alpha", hoping with "bug fixes & improvements" equihash was fix & nop same problem what i say from few version agow - Test Excavator Start [[2018-02-02 12:44:36.164770] [thread=0x000010d8] [info]] - Miner Stall > Crash (i check log & see moment when speed was drop) [[2018-02-02 13:00:47.461761] [thread=0x00000a10] [info]] - I stop manually miner seen him stall, coming back to pc, from what i was need to do in house [[2018-02-02 13:10:51.452607] [thread=0x000010d8] [info]] Shutting down - Open / Start Excavator agen - Crash agen [[2018-02-02 13:53:57.508518] [thread=0x000011e0] [info]]
yup very stable ... but my be excavator he not like me after abandon him from 1.3.2a & switch to other miner, because speed competition if we can joke cheers I mean why would you even mine equihash with this miner? That is one of the algos that excavator is not competitive. Both DTSM or Bminer are much faster, even EWBF is faster

Thanks to all for your replies. Some of them have made me a bit more optimistic about the future of GPU mining.
I would not believe the information from this forum. It is flooded with noobs that have no idea about mining. At this current time ETH allocates for over 77% of emission to GPU miners. Once it will go POS all GPU miners around the world will have 77% less profits altogether. Miners with a lot of knowledge will probably be able to find new coins, but miners that use whattomine, nicehash and other "default" mining strategies will be defensless. Just my 2c.

|
|
Any speed improvements in the new version today?
|
|
|
Is there a way to run a benchmark that will test all of the algos at once?
|
|
|
Basically this is done in a way that the owners will have all of the emission of the coin for themselves.
Mining emission is extremely low therefore masternodes will increase very slowly.
Also because the emission is low, there is no selling pressure and the price of the coin will likely rise.
All in all, this is probably even worse than 30% of premine. What a shit.

I am not impressed with hsrminer (or it could be that I suck at optimisation!).
GTX 1080 Gigabyte Windforce 8 GB, at around 1800 Mhz base and 4640 Mem, power limit 92%: around 1.1 MH / s at -i 7. Trying i 5 crashes hsrminer after a few minutes. Temp: 62 degrees
It seems everybody here is doing better. Any pointers to things I could do to improve the rate?
What OC settings are you applying? Try putting them lower than what you would with ccminer. I can OC my 1080 Ti core on CC to +150 but only around +130 on HSR. HSR still gets a better hash rate though Your mem clock is extremely low for this type of memory. Set it to 5400 at least, also delete the intesity setting. HSR miner will do the job for you and set it better. Also if you have such low temp, maybe it is not good idea to lower power limit especially for neoscrypt.
