Miner automatically closes without any message after couple of found share IDS. Anyone knows why? It closes randomly, sometimes immediatelly after start, sometimes after couple of found shares. Never lasts more than minute though. Two GTX 1070, getting 260 sols with OC per GPU before the shut down.

Well ROI is only a simple equation based on which you should never make an investment and I dont know why it is so overused in this mining scene. If you want to decide which investment you want to take you need to calculate its net present value (NPV) and IRR and use discounted cash flow model which of course do take into account the resale value. time value of money and all the risks to the investment as well.
I really donīt understand how did you come up to these numbers, but anyways good luck in your mining Smiley

I dont understand this logic.

You buy a card for 400$ you sell for 350$ - you will ROI once you reach 50$.
You buy a card that costs 250$, you sell for 200$ - you will ROI once you reach 50$.

So why is the ROI of GTX 1070 longer than with rx480? It only depends on which card will hold the value longer. The price has nothing to do with this.

Can i combine different cards in one rig for example gtx 1070 with gtx 1060 or 1050ti?

Hey, lets brag a bit Smiley Just for fun - maybe setting new benchmark?

heavy overclocked GTX 1070 MSI Gaming X - 2202 / 4800 Mhz = 255 sol/s max
Powerlimit @72
This one is really nice piece of silicon - 24/7 stable, other 4x 1070 are capped around 235/sol/s

windows 10 (1607) + latest 375.95 driver + MSI Afterburner

and even more fun 10/20cores i7-6950X @ 4200Mhz + quad channel 3200Mhz RAM
= 70sol/s or 520.000H/s cryptonight

How dangerous is it to overclock the memory so high? Smiley

Is it worth mining this coin for nvidia? Smiley

Update this thread .

just use whattomine, it say etheruem the most profitable for nvidia and amd is on par with zcash

but zcash has more potential to grow so it's better to mine that with amd

Which is incorrect, the hashrate for nvidia is wrong on whattomine for Zcash Smiley Also why do you think Zcash has more potential to grow? As it seems for me it is very overpriced compared to other cryptos.

because it's brand new and the hype is still there, and remember that at least one coin per year will be pumped it regardless of the marketcap, the price or anything else

i'm getting nearly the same as whattomine say with zcash(0.1 zcash daily with 6 x1070 hashing at 740 sol), so i dunno where you see that is wrong

The hashing power with the gtx 1070 is around 220 with the nheq miner. It is, of course locked, but still gives by far the best profits for nvidia cards.

i don't like that it's locked, and anyway it's better to mine ethereum currently, one thing i noticed is that the estimate on the 1070 is wrong if you use the 1070 field, i don't use that i just put my hash there on whattomine

I think nobody likes that its locked and we are all waiting for other capable nvidia miner for Zcash Smiley. Regarding the field - i know. I also use manual input for the calculation. For the current moment i think the profits for Ethereum and Zcash are very similar and its probably a tossup on what to mine currently.

Oh yes Smiley its -w for worker

Have 218 sol with 1 gtx 1070 .

I think gtx 1070 work fine a 300 sol soon .

YOU HAVE OVER 400Sols/s--

Read the labels... I/s is "Iterations per second".  The second term is Sols/s, or "Solutions per second".         --scryptr
400 sol/s with only one 1070 would be the highest score never seen...

Yes but its with two Smiley its a typo look at his previous posts.

450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1050Ti and 1050 mining performance on: November 28, 2016, 06:11:31 PM
1050 Ti:
~13MH/s ETH with +500 mem. ~87H/s ZEC stock, ~89H/s with +250 mem.

Could you also please state the watt the cards uses while mining eth and zec? Thanks!!
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profit coins today on: November 27, 2016, 10:42:16 PM

No one knows zcash future price, otherwise he would be damn rich. IMHO it will grow, so it's worth mining nowadays

Pretty obvious consideration  Wink

Making predictions in a certain market it's just utter BS.

Haha fully agree Smiley

So far the best miner available. I am getting about 220 mh/s per each GTX 1070 (mining with 7GPU) + the processor. Unfortunately the profits calculated by the nicehash are about 15-25% lower than those on whatto mine. Maybe it has something to do with the conversion of Zcash to BTC automatically - i couldn't find the conversion rate anywhere, but I am not sure ATM.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash EQM Zcash NVIDIA optimized miner [Maxwell/Pascal] + CPU mining on: November 24, 2016, 04:19:45 PM
Is this even legit? I mined for one full day with 2*gtx 1070 + i7 processor and didnt get any payment at all.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dual mining Ethereum and ZEC with decent speed! on: October 31, 2016, 05:52:43 PM
Anyone got it work with the gtx 1070? While mining ethereum the reported hashrate is 27 MH/s, but when i look on the nanopool website it is only about 2MH/s so the miner reports wrong numbers.

Anyone has unconfirmed transactions on supernova after 6 hours of mining? I have already 0.025 and none of the transactions are confirmed. What should i do? Using Nh miner. Thanks

I have a reqeusted payment of 0.1 for more than two hours and still nothing.

I did not, already waiting about an hour. Also while mining it stopped adding coins.

Anyone tried the Pallas free linux miner? what is the speed for gtx 1070? I am thinking if it is worth installing linux looking at the current situation Smiley
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / GTX 1070 crashing when mining Ethereum on: October 16, 2016, 06:20:13 PM
Hello,

my rig (5x1070) always crashes when i start to mine Ethereum. It crashes randomly after 1 - 4 hours, i have EVGA 1070 with samsung memory OC to + 100 core and +550 memory which should be totally fine, but the computer shuts down completely, doesnt even restart. When i mine LBRY or other coins it works fine. Doesnt the memory get too hot when overclocked, because there is no temperature chip on the memory.

Here is the problem signature that i get.

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:   BlueScreen
