481  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All business need to risk, so not only crypto! on: March 30, 2024, 01:13:58 PM
All businesses involve risk so the reality is that you should have the ability to take risks.

Everyone says crypto Is high risk is it really true? My guess is less because a lot of people have had success with this crypto.
Some are investing and some are making a lot of money by trading. So why can't you?

There is nothing in this world which doesn't have any kind of risk.
The probability can vary ofcourse for different things but there won't be any certainity with anything and so there will always be some kind of risk associated with it.
The crucial thing is how we handle the risk and that can only improve if we effectively manage our risks.
Risk management is the key here and yes, as you said, the capability to take those risks plays a vital role in making money.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: March 30, 2024, 01:11:01 PM
To make money from gambling is extremely difficult, sure all gamblers try but very few out of millions of them really win a substantial amount or a life changing amount, like a jackpot or a max win in a slot machine with a really big bet.The people who usually manage to achieve such feat are usually gamblers that in their brain they have already decided that they will try with a certain amount of money every session they play without overdoing it and trying consistently until they hit the target, these are also the people who have quite a huge amount of emotions control and self control and they don't come out of such scheme. All other gamblers are the losers who cannot contain emotions and don't gamble with a plan.

If such gamblers didn't have their emotions under control then they wouldn't be winning such huge winnings at first place.
Only becasue they have a good self control and the patience required, they are able to set their rules clearly and follow it.
Gamblers who play within their rules often tend to earn more money in the end. They don't lose much like others who keep gambling when they shouldn't.
483  Economy / Gambling / Re: Buidling a New Crash Game with Community Experience on: March 30, 2024, 12:24:51 PM
From a gambler's point of view, I would personally look for an ease of access and a good user interface.
Flexibility to choose the coins to gamble with. I would want to gamble directly with crypto and not $USD equivalent of crypto.
A chat box with active moderator or an AI bot which filters spammers and a provable fair algorithm for the betting.
This would suffice the need and would make the site more attractive to gamblers.
484  Economy / Gambling / Re: My experience on live bet on: March 30, 2024, 11:47:50 AM
Our first bet is always a special one. The thrill and excitement we have for the first bet can never be matched.
I guess you tried to play safe and cashed out early but even 1.64x is not a bad return. That is 64% itself.
So congratulations but you set yourself a budget every time you place and try not to exceed it.

My 2FA is not working anymore and I am unable to reset it.
Help!

- Follow the instructions published here in Login/Reset:
https://freebitco.in/signup/?op=s
image:
https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2F7r0gBtW%2FImage.png&t=660&c=7S32YB8AhReHXA

- If you are unable to follow the instructions, this site isn't for you.

- If you are able, write down what you already did and I will add something else.

I have stated many times that if you are unable to use the automated 2fa reset provided you need to message me a Bitcoin signed message either from the Bitcoin address you set as default on the profile page or an address you have previously deposited from. As we're an anonymous to use site we don't know who owns the account so messaging me offering to prove your identity isn't of any use.

You are finally back. A lot of people have been waiting for you here and it feels so good to hear from you.
The happiest person would be jper3009 since he has raised a scam accusation FREEBITCO.IN SCAM, DEPOSIT NOT CREDITED
Not hearing from you on this thread for quite some time and then this unresolved scam accusation was getting all of us worried.
Now that you are here I guess things would get back to normal soon.  Smiley

To play those games, I mean. Not to make money with them, of course, but to relax from stressful life. People need it and that's why restrictions must be removed, in civilized world at least.
I don't think it is completely like you said. People, when it comes to gambling, will want to achieve both, fun, relax and winning to gain money. If they don't want to chase money, can not afford to lose money, they can simply play off-line games or even online games for free and don't come to online casinos and spend money for betting.

That is definitely true when we think from that perspective. Most gamers prefer to play offline games but that's the difference between gaming offline and gambling.
Even I play for fun most of the times but when money is involved we tend to become a little serious because nobody will want to lose money wantedly.
It's the money that is involved that makes the gambler to gamble more and win more. But even in that case, the amount shouldn't exceed our budget or capability of losing it.

Maybe it depends of availability of the person since not everyone are blessed to have lots of time to go outside gamble and enjoy the vibes of offline casino. This is why there's a lot of people choosing online casino since eventhough they won't get the same atmosphere what offline casino brings to them but at least they have fun to play those classic games that they want to play the same on offline. We see online casino is booming and its billion dollar industry so we can expect that a lot of people are getting involve to new technology and they select to gamble at home since they feel more safety there. For talking about budgeting then I guess its all up for those people on how much they can afford to lose.

It's not about offline casino or online casino but the fact that people who say they gamble only for fun do bother when they lose their money in gambling.
I was myself one of those people but after thinking it through I got to know that I do bother (although very less) when I lose money in gambling.
It's a simple fact mentioned by tranthidung that people who don't bother losing money in gambling can simply play offline games thus not losing real money.
487  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit decay on: March 29, 2024, 04:47:19 PM
I've got to find out that there are some profiles that have received whole lots of merits but some of those profiles don't circulate their sendable merits to others profiles thereby allowing the sendable merits to decay and become worthless. The reason for sendable merits is for a user to send to other profiles in which they find their posts of good qualities and of Meritable standards but I wonder why some users choose to hoard this sendable merits and allowing it to vanish with time.
Is it a good habit to allow one's sendable merits to decay?

The only way we can avoid this is if the person whose merits are getting decayed, stays active on the forum and contributes towards it.
I don't think there is any other way out for it. Merits only decay if the person is inactive for a long time or decides to hoard his merits which makes really no sense.
488  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I really hold onto my bitcoins in the future? on: March 29, 2024, 04:37:55 PM
Hello all forum members. I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I have been familiar with Bitcoin since 2019. In 2015, when I entered my Honors first year at university, my family situation was very bad financially. I told my family situation to the head of my university then sir gave me a job opportunity. In the house where Sir lives, he has a neighbor, an old woman lives there. The old woman's children lived abroad and had citizenship there. My job was basically shopping for him, withdrawing money from the bank, basically working as his runner.  He paid me $100 a month. I could save $30 dollars a month and put that money in the bank. The old lady died just three months before my honors final exams started. I worked under that old woman for three years and seven months. After completing the final exam, I was not sure what to do with the money, whether to keep it in the bank or not, then a friend of mine told me to invest the money in Bitcoin. I didn't think about it at first but I spent a month browsing the internet about Bitcoin. Later I became interested in Bitcoin. I withdraw my bank money and invest in Bitcoin. I don't know why I didn't sell Bitcoin when it reached its highest price.  Currently I am unemployed for three years after completing my studies. I am trying hard to find a job but luck is not helping me. I have two tuitions to support myself but it doesn't work like this, it has become very important for me to help my family. I don't know what to do now. Now the bitcoin market has increased a lot, should I sell my bitcoins? I will use it in a small business. Should I be given more time for the job? I have to take a decision in the next two months. Experienced members of the forum give me some advice what should I do.

Keep looking for a job and get any job that suits you. You just have to keep your expenses going in the beginning.
Once you save enough you can still hunt for a different job of your choice. This way you will be able to hold on to your bitcoins.
Meanwhile the price of bitcoin will touch another ATH and then may be you can decide to sell so that you can buy back at cheaper price or may be start a business or something.
Right now your best bet would be to find a job and just get started that's it.
489  Local / India / Re: Help me account got freezed by bankura West Bengal cyber cell on: March 29, 2024, 02:35:46 PM
My account has been frozen after doing p2p on noones exchange. Iam totally depressed.. because i dint want any police case .i get sucidal thoughts too. I sold 250 $ after that i got cyber cell notice. my account has 1 lakh rs total freezed for 22700 rs transaction

I collected bounty and airdrops in 2014-2017 and i dont have much data of btc and usdt from where i get iam also very much scared by the police case please help me buddies .
From last 10 days i didnot properly sleep too this is worst
. I dont have much contact in police and lawyer and i cant afford it too. I think i ruined my life after doing that 250$ p2p trade
Trader name is SSPRODUCTION in noones p2p exchange
HERE IS LINK OF TRADER PROFILE :-https://noones.com/user/SSPRODUCTION
Please dont trade with this person as he scammed more peoples

First of all, you don't need to be worried because the amount if just $250 and you shouldn't be getting sucidal thoughts just for this small amount.
In the worst case, you can just let the amount go and continue living a normal life and so don't be stressed over this.
You don't need to fear as you haven't done anything wrong.

Now to deal with this situation, firstly go to your bank home branch and talk the to manager about your case and tell them to release your account.
If he doesn't agree then tell them to freeze just the amount which got deposited to your account and release the rest of the funds as they don't have the rights to freeze all of your money.
Then contact the cyber cell and give them the details of the depositor and let them know that you will co-operate with them.
Then just follow the process the bank and police men says you. You don't need to worry because you haven't done anything wrong here.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret on: March 29, 2024, 11:10:50 AM
There is only one issue with holding Bitcoin for a long period - you never know when the price will go up significantly. You can wait for 10 years and the price would still be low. People waited 3 years for ATH to update. There is a tendency that every 3-4 years Bitcoins price update ATH, but there is no guarantee that it will always do it. And adoption might become like this - you want adoption, you get regulation or limitation. Right now Bitcoin is so to say wild. Adoption cant happen imho without control. If Bitcoin gets controlled, it will stop gaining in price.

Nothing in this world is guaranteed. Bitcoin is volatile and the price was moving according to 4-year cycles, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing, as you could predict how the price would behave. Now take gold for example, which is considered one of the most stable commodities, it needed almost 8 years to return to its 2011 ATH, and if you account for inflation, it has never returned to its ATH value:

As for adoption (understood as using BTC as a form of payment), the biggest obstacle is not technology or network limitations, but the simple fact that very few people have any earnings in bitcoin.

It's good to see different asset prices from this point of view. Not only gold but even bitcoin hasn't reached it's ATH value if we account for inflation.
Sometimes people ignore the fact that inflation has been decreasing their overall portfolio value and lives under the assumption of increased profits.
It's a good awareness to them and they should be revalidating their assets every now and then accounting for inflation as well.

At this time, I don't expect anything but we all want Thequin to come back to this thread and clarify everything so that there are no more complaints and bad accusations on this site. I hope everything is fine.

Very true. I am hoping for the same. Unfortunately, when something like this happens you can consider it a red sign.
So far there are 3 red signs. The first red sign is from jper3009 and his unresolved/unaddressed case.
The second red sign is TheQuin being inactive and the third red sign is the signature campaign coming to a halt.
This definitely means something terrible is going on with freebitco.in.
493  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 27, 2024, 04:47:55 PM
That is definitely one of the possibilities as we can see bitcoin price consolidating right now.
Either the price will keep falling downwards and then bounce back or it will consolidate within the same range and then bounce back.
Let's see how it goes. I am hoping to see the price going upwards in a week or so.
Almost all predictions right now will be in a bullish direction culminating  with the season that we are now. The falls in the price of bitcoin is nothing but a mere correction that doesn't appear to fall below between 60k-55k at lowest. And these price fluctuations is what we will keep experiencing in the market till we enter the halving month which is just few days from now. In all my years with bitcoin, it is one thing for investors to predict their expectations from the market based on their impulse or analysis made but it's another thing for the market price to either perform below investors expectation or outperform beyond expectation.

Yes ofcourse. Right now BTC price is at $69k and I think it will be above $70k until the end of the month.
I have placed my bet in the range of $70k - $80k and may win the round but lets.
As you say, it's one thing to predict the price and it's one thing for the price to go in that direction.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock Launches Its First Tokenized Fund on the Ethereum Network on: March 27, 2024, 04:27:22 PM
BlackRock definitely has something in it's mind. First they get involved in crypto space by applying for bitcoin ETF then they apply for ethereum ETF and now the tokenized fund.
I must say, BlackRock is slowly tightening its grip in the crypto community and soon it will try to manipulate it to it's benefits.
Things will become more centralized and that is not good for the crypto community.
Blackrock, is definitely up to something bigger in the crypto space, they probably want to have main stakes in top cryptocurrencies and they'll have certain autonomy over them, meaning that they can manipulate the decentralization of a coin like Bitcoin, to their advantage. But looking at it from the business angle, Blackrock, is now a pioneer in the adoption of cryptocurrency, more investors have entered the space and areas of making money have increased significantly, hopefully if Ethereum ETF is approved, it'll be another milestone for Blackrock, and investors.

I reckon the next speculation should be what cryptocoin is next to be supported by Blackrock and the next to have a spot ETF? I predict this to be Solana and this might make it pump higher than Binance smartchain in market capitalization. If their developers can fix Solana's network congestion and problems of going offline, might it be a possibility that SOL might also pump above Ethereum's market capitalization within 10 years?

Now, Solana has again surpassed Ethereum in other terms as it takes the lead in weekly stablecoin transfer volume. The investors chased yields, airdrops, and high returns from the memecoin buzz. The volume soared beyond $360 billion, overtaking the volume of Ethereum of around $150 to $153 billion.

With this, Solana accounts for nearly 42% of the total stablecoin market share, a significant rise from 1.9%, a year ago. This may also have a major impact on the SOL price, which is at the foothills of a major explosion.

Source https://coinpedia.org/price-analysis/after-dex-volume-solana-surpasses-ethereum-again-heres-where-the-sol-price-may-go-next/

Seems interesting but VCs already have a huge chunk of Solana coins along with them which already makes it more centralized.
If Blackrock decides to launch a SOL ETF it will either be an easy way for the VCs to exit since the liquidity will sucked up by Blackrock or the price will drive further upwards since ETF will boost the price thus making Solana more centralized than ever.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Solana is 20x up but Ethereum is dying, yet for years ppl shill Eth why? on: March 27, 2024, 04:04:52 PM

I am an Ethereum fan myself but the fact that Solana has made far more returns in this bull cycle than Ethereum bugs me.
In fact I had a decent amount invested in Solana but since it's blockchain started getting outages I became skeptical about it/
Then in the bear cycle the price of Solana dumped to $8 and I sold all of it. Now I see it near to it's previous high.
Although I lose a huge amount of profits but I still feel the value it brings to the table is not as good as Ethereum.
That's the reason why I am still holding Ethereum although it's providing less returns.

Almost everyone made the same decision then when Solana was below $20 because they had crisis then most notably their link with the FTX collapse saga then and the coin was dumping, it was logical to pull out then. The ecosystem is just getting new attention now because of its low gas fee

Feels good to hear that. Gives a sense of relief that I wasn't the only one. I see that a lot of people are into Solana because of the meme coins.
That may be the reason why its getting new attention. I personally lost interest in Solana when the frequent blockchain outages started coming in.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum Ecosystem is better than Solana Ecosystem on: March 24, 2024, 12:12:30 PM
I'm not saying Sol is bad, but I'm trying to point out the reason we need to hold good coins along while we make money

This is the best thing from your post and probably the best thing to do to make decent gains in the crypto sphere.
We definitely need to aim for the long term but in the process we shouldn't miss out the short term gains.
I have made my investment in the long term but I am missing out the short term gains.
This shows that I need to focus more on the short term gains by investing in these meme coins  Grin

Solana is doing well but it is foolish to assume that Ethereum is dying. Ethereum is far bigger than Solana and its ecosystem is bigger than Ethereum itself. It is because of its ecosystem that Ethereum will not die. The reason why Solana is not trending in the crypto world is due to the meme coins that are in its ecosystem and the way it is going it might get known only for meme coins.

I am an Ethereum fan myself but the fact that Solana has made far more returns in this bull cycle than Ethereum bugs me.

I don't think that the decision to end the FJ signature campaign and the Freebitcoin campaign suspension is somehow related to the trend on the market. There are other reasons, and we should pay attention to why TheQuin has not been very active on the forum in recent months. I guess there is probably something going on inside Freebitcoin.
The issue is that we don't have access to anyone inside freebitco.in's team to ask for answers... It would be great if there were a veteran member and user of freebitco.in on this forum who had direct access to the owner of the platform, wetsuit, so we could finally understand and take notice of what is going on, that is, why their support don't come in public anymore to talk to their community. Linking it to the fact the signature campaign was paused due to the wallet not being replenished, just increases the suspicions and doubts of users about what the future holds for freebitco.in platform.

I know there are veteran users who access this thread and read the news from times to times. Maybe they could try looking for answers and bringing them here to enlight everyone on this matter.

That's why it's nice to have active team members here on the forum, instead of doubting and wondering if everything is fine, they could explain many things. From some of the comments, it seems like it's time to sell off the FUN tokens we have and pull all the money from the site... while there's still time! Should we really do it, or should we wait a little longer?

I sincerely doubt that freebitcoin has come to an end, but that's always an option... they wouldn't be the first, and probably not the last, crypto site to decide to go out of business.

You can surely sell your FUN tokens and take your satoshis out of the site but what about those users who have locked their tokens.
I have locked them for a year which means I won't be able to take them out any time soon.
But I am not worries since the cumulative amount is not so big but what about those users who hold a large amount on the site.
I hope there is nothing wrong with the freebitco.in site and everything goes back to normal soon.
500  Local / India / Re: KuCoin becomes first FIU compliant global crypto exchange on: March 24, 2024, 06:14:01 AM
This is great news, kucoin exited the market and didn't showed any interest too when questions rised to their team but they can back as the first exchange to comply the regulations. Binance still working? They said it's not possible to do that all of a sudden and they are willing to pay penalty due as well but government were strict and didn't allowed.

Is it so ?  Sad Where did you get that information from ?
I thought Binance would comply with these regulations prior to any other exchange but that turned out to be the opposite.
I find the UI of Binance quite user friendly and I have become used to it now.
If Binance doesn't comply with the regulations then it will lose a huge user base which will migrate to KuCoin now.
