TO THE MOON BABY !!!
I WANNA BE WITH WINNERS !!! Smiley Cheesy
COINMARKETCAP = $0.000117 USD (171.49%)
Smiley Cheesy Smiley
Wow, I still don't understand how it keeps rising without any practical use yet

Sometimes altcoins get pumped for no reason. I remember fedoracoin got pumped above its previous ATH when it had no dev. Although there was no ongoing development it still got pumped.

Hi,

Who knows how to create that survey on top of the post ?

I would like to create one for the first exchange.

Thanks

Next to the topic there is a button named "post new poll". Click the button to start creating a survey.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Agetron Crypto Currency on: January 06, 2018, 09:06:00 PM
ah, we need GPU algo bro, GPU  Huh

THIS :/

scrypt clones are the easiest to make. minimal effort in the coin, little to no effort in the ANN, not even a picture or plan or roadmap
in fact i feel like the explanation is even copy pasta with "agetron" put in instead Sad
Total garbage, i wouldn't bother mining this if i had scypt asic's anymore Cheesy

I have to agree with that.
Nowadays, it's easy to create your own coin.
Just recycle some old stuffs from everybody and change the ticker & other info.
Hope the dev will add some unique features on this coin.
Otherwise, just a copy and paste from the others, which are also copy and paste from the others and so on....  Grin

The explanation of the technology is almost identical to bitcoin's. There's too much competition in the market for a coin with no unique features to get a foot hold any more. All coins operate using peer-to-peer technology with no central authority.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DIMEcoin on: January 06, 2018, 08:47:55 PM
Hello,

I got some DIMEcoin on YoBit (at is was advertised on the DimeCoin Website). Now I have the problem that withdrawals are not possible ("under maintenance"). Is there any way to transfer the Dime to my Desktop Wallet? Or can support the developer to support YoBit that withdrawals are working again?

Thank you Smiley

Yobit has numerous coins wallets under maintenance. It can take months for them to fix one. Your coins are trapped on yobit and there's nothing you can do except hope they fix the wallet. Their support can take weeks or months to respond, so the dev can't do much about it.

Why is fucking deferred start? Angry

Probably to give all the miners a fair chance of getting in at the start. If mining started immediately most of them wouldn't know the coin has launched. This way they get a week to read the announcement thread and prepare to mine on launch day.

Is this using a blockchain forked from bitcoin's, or is it a completely different blockchain with a completely different genesis block?
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BLK/BC) | PoS | No ICO on: January 06, 2018, 08:35:24 PM
How many BLK-coins u need to "mine" with PoS?
more than 1
better 10k
Why is it since the new wallet staking has been crap..for me?
47k staking and I received six (6) coins for all of 2017, very weak imo 8(

Maybe an exchange is staking the majority of active coins. The little wallets won't stand a chance against the giant wallets on exchanges.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ABT] ArcBlock - BORN FOR BLOCKCHAIN 3.0 on: January 06, 2018, 08:29:24 PM
The OP says this will be the worlds first ecosystem for building and deploying decentralised applications.

Ethereum and lisk were designed for building and deploying decentralised applications. Why is an ecosystem better for building and deploying them?
149  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Graphnet: A System for Peer-to-Peer Packet Networking (PRE-PROPOSAL) on: January 06, 2018, 08:10:44 PM
Shouldn't this be in the development & technical discussion board as it's only a proposal?

This is the board I'm referring to.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=6.0

I thought this as well, and this is certainly getting drawn in the altcoin craze, but that board is clearly labeled under "Bitcoin". I just PM'ed a mod from that board to inquire about it, it certainly feels like a category is missing.

The OP is proposing a decentralized cryptocurrency, market and transfer protocol, which might mean a market using bitcoin, or one using altcoins. If it's using bitcoin this thread should definitely be i  the other board. If it's using altcoins there's a problem because as you say there's no altcoin development & technical discussion board.

Maybe the altcoin section needs a new board.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of bad altcoins to invest on: January 06, 2018, 08:02:48 PM
Any coin with a huge premine that the dev is keeping for himself as "funds" for development. He will usually dump the premine (and the coin's price) at the first opportunity.
151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello! I'm stumped and impatient on: January 06, 2018, 07:59:23 PM
... but it's hard when you are broke and can't even get a .com domain.

You can get a free .tk domain from this website. However it only lasts a year and it might get disabled if it doesn't get enough traffic. However it's better than nothing if you are starting up and broke.

http://www.dot.tk/en/index.html?lang=en

There's also this site which sells domains from as cheap as 90 cents. After a year they want more than that to renew a domain, but for the first year it's cheap, and they don't disable domains for having no traffic.

152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I use proxy/vpn to browse this forum? on: January 06, 2018, 07:49:19 PM
You are allowed to use Tor or a VPN to browse bitcointalk. The evil points system only applies if you are registering using a Tor/VPN IP address that someone else previously used who got banned.

If an IP address has a high associated number of evil points it will have a high bitcoin fee. Keep trying new IP addresses until you find one with a low associated number of evil points, then you can pay a small bitcoin fee to register while using it.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTG and B2X Balance Incorrect? on: January 06, 2018, 07:37:52 PM
The bitcoin genesis block contains unspendable coins due to a bug in the first bitcoin wallet's code. Perhaps that affected the BTG and B2X balances. What results do you get for the next block?
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust any exchange or even wallets like Ledger? on: January 06, 2018, 07:32:12 PM
I'm having a difficult time in trusting any of these online exchanges, what is to keep them from pulling out and doing an exit scam? The solution seems to be physical wallets like the Ledger or Trezor, but what is to keep the developers from putting a backdoor into the software that drains all coin once it reaches a certain amount, or to take fractions of a coin without leaving a history of such? If only have 1-2k in it thats not a gigantic hit, but lets say you have millions in coin. Is there nothing more secure one could do?

I mean other than the fact that it's highly illegal and they'll like be sent to jail for a very long time for fraud - pretty much nothing. Oh also the fact that they make an absolute fortune already so is there really any need? Exchanges biggest threat is being hacked, the likelihood of them combusting of their own doing is far less likely and would only really occur with some malpractice.

Remember big Vern who ran the USA based cryptsy exchange? He wiped the database clean and moved to China. The USA government doesn't have an extradition treaty with China so they can't touch him unless he returns.

I no longer trust any exchange because of that. Use them if you have to make a trade, but withdraw your coins to a wallet you control immediately afterwards. It's a gamble trusting any exchange with your coins. Once they have them you might never get them back.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Pending TX count is huge on: January 06, 2018, 07:26:04 PM
Ethereum system is quite terrible now in terms of pending transactions.
There are over 25k TX waiting in the queue for 2 days.

It is impossible to process under 40 gwei and this is very expensive for token transfers.

What is the cause of it? Again those kitties or something else?

When will it become normal again?

I think there's no particular reason for it, just a large number of transactions being processed in terms of trades etc. Hopefully it can be resolved soon, such things are never sustainable and fortunately solutions are in the pipeline for ethereum and bitcoin, they really can't come soon enough.

Today I read complaints about delayed eth withdrawals from exchanges, and the complainants were asking the same question. Why are there so many eth transactions? I haven't found a definitive answer yet.

New Sell-Attack?

It's only gone down a tiny bit. Unless it's at least a thousand dollar movement I barely notice it.

Glad you're back Smiley

Pls update Coinmarketcap and make a Twitter !!

What needs updating on coinmarketcap? It shows the only exchange mentioned in the OP.

160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin PRO - BTCP - PRO Version of Bitcoin on: January 06, 2018, 06:46:41 PM

This is now one of the easiest ways to acquire fast cash.
The dev is just giving 10k coins as total bounties.
But his premine is 5% of 21M = 1.05M. It will just be another pump and dump coin.
Afterwards, create another coin again...

Why do you think this is the last bounty we are giving away?

Total Bounties:
10,000 BTCP

Any questions just ask here.

Because that's what you were implying in your OP.
So what do you want me to think about it?
You need to add more info about your project so you will not be labeled as scammer by others.

Noted. These bounties will not be the last.

When will the next bounties be available?
