They closed new registrations to solve the current problems but it seems they are still very bad at solving it.
How hard can it be?
What bittrex doing is just intolerable and its a deep corruption from their end by hodling users funds. Stopping new registration won't solve the current problem and how it is related to the main problem I am just wondering Their behavior towards their users is just UNETHICAL. They should admit they made a mistake and allow unverified users to withdraw their coins and close their accounts if they don't want to verify. They can't just say verify or we are keeping your coins for ourselves, they will get sued for it. A lawsuit takes time but I'm sure there will be one.

It is a counterproductive measure! No one gets educated that way.
Have you been over in the "Flat Earth Theory" thread in Off-Topic ? There is no educating those people. It's pure religion. It taught me the value of ignoring certain accounts outright. Bcash supporters are the Flat Earthers of the cryptosphere. I have read the "Flat Earth Theory" thread in Off-Topic, and I thought your arguments with another member there were very funny. The flat/round earth arguments in that thread are often funny, but the Bcash/bitcoin arguments in this thread are often boring.

Poloniex changed the information in its support page about emails. It deleted a bit that said multiple accounts are allowed, and just left the bit that says to contact support. This is what it says now. https://poloniex.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/1000166430-can-i-change-the-email-address-associated-with-my-poloniex-account-You cannot change the email address that was used to create your account at the time of registration. If you are no longer able to access the email account for any reason, please open a support ticket. This is what it said on 12 April 2017. Someone archived a snapshot of the page. https://web.archive.org/web/20170412185402/https://poloniex.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/1000166430-can-i-change-the-email-address-associated-with-my-poloniex-account-You cannot change the email address that is linked to your account at registration. If you are no longer able to access the email account please open a ticket at Poloniex Support. If you can still access your email address associated with your Poloniex account but want to change it for security/privacy reasons you can create a new Poloniex account with a new email address and place withdrawals from the old account to the new account. Once the withdrawals are complete and the coins are credited at the new account balance you can chose to close the old account or link it with the new account. If the old account already have the profile verified you may want to link the new account to the old account to carry over the verification level, to do so login to the old account, browse to https://poloniex.com/linkedAccounts and insert the new account credentials. After linking the account you may chose to close the old account or keep it open, if you chose to close it simply inform Poloniex Support and the account will be closed.

There is no way to change the email associated with a poloniex account, but I'm not sure if you can make another with a different email. However poloniex is changing its registration requirements to making submission of passport/driving license scans compulsory. https://poloniex.com/press-releases/2017.12.27-Notice-to-legacy-account-holders/December 27, 2017 NOTICE TO OUR LEGACY ACCOUNT HOLDERS
We have recently completed a major upgrade to our customer identification and verification systems. As a result, we will soon require legacy accounts to become verified through the latest version of our verification portal. The exact date for this deadline will be announced in Q1 2018. While you will be given advance notice before this requirement goes into effect, we encourage you to verify your legacy account now to avoid any potential interruptions in your ability to trade on the platform. https://poloniex.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/1000166430-can-i-change-the-email-address-associated-with-my-poloniex-account-You cannot change the email address that was used to create your account at the time of registration. Can someone tell me if an imported private keys on electrum is affected too with this vulnerability or only to those wallet that is generated using electrum?
The vulnerability potentially affects any wallet below version 3.0.4 if no wallet passphrase was set and if it ever been online at the same time a webpage in a browser was open. Theymos's warning explains it all. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2702103.0

What features has Seigneurcoin got that no other coin has?

|
|
This is a known issue, all transactions in Electrum-XVG will show as unverified and never change. They are verified and transfer in and out as you expect.
Don't use the ELECTRUM XVG Wallet until it gets updated to fix a serious bug that could result in all your coins getting stolen. You can read a warning from theymos about it at the following link. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2702103.0

critical vulnerability in electrum?
Thank God that I have not had any BTC stored in Electrum Wallet for months. I read the git on the issue. Amazing, they knew about it since November and poo poo'ed it back then. https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/3374I updated anyway and created a new wallet to use. Just in case that I ever want to use it in the future. I retained the old wallet just in case I need to verify anything with the old keys for an airdrop or something. Has the vulnerability been exploited yet? There must be a reason they poo poo'ed it since November and are rushing out a fix now. The reason is because someone gave them a demo on just how serious this was. Thank God the demo was by a white/gray hat rather than a black hat. That reassures me. If the vulnerability had already been exploited by a black hat we would probably have heard news of it by now. Hopefully only the white/gray hat figured out how to use it until now.

I have heard that YoBIit is facing a lot of issues lately. Their official thread in Bitcointalk was locked by the moderator a few days back and the Yobit representative was last active in this forum almost a month back. But then, I withdraw some of my BTC from YoBit three days back and I faced no issues at all. The transaction was processed in less than 30 minutes.
Thanks for pointing out they locked their announcement thread. The last post on it was made on December 17 and now it's locked. That's a red flag.

What makes this technology better than OpenBazaar which is already running a decentralised marketplace?

MOBILINK-COIN will eliminate all mobile monthly fees to users, by replacing your current mobile SIM card with a MOBILINK-SIM Card. The revenue that’s currently generated from user’s monthly voice/data service fee will be replaced by revenue from digital advertising.
Does this mean all people using a MOBILINK sim card in their phones will get advertising that they cannot disable?

FFS the block size again? Has anyone noticed what's happening with the price and alts and stuff?
I posted recently we has some dojis and would have an interesting day - and indeed we did - a predictable breakout. Now have a look - we have a situation that could be misinterpreted as a BTC bull trap by the shitcoin-tards and that is exactly what has happened - alts recovering a bit after their recent falls.
In other words, BTC has already passed the capitulation phase and it ready to boom again, but the alts are still in denial that this run is over for them. /r/ripple etc are still bullish - they are ones who will end up selling ripple at the bottom and FOMOing into BTC when the price explodes.
Still bullish AF
Yes I noticed. We are at a borderline bitcoin price of $17000. It keeps swinging just below, then just above that level. It's only about two weeks ago that we were down to the $11000s and it's already recovered to $17000. Bullish AF.

Unfortunately there's nothing much you can do besides wait. Poloniex support can take weeks or months to answer a ticket. Poloniex is so overloaded with tickets that its support staff can't cope.

BTC I made a withdrawal of DGB today and they completed the transaction and gave me fake or unexisted Txid. This is the Txid: b8dde90631e136c153cbb15e85134e435724068f9828984ef099fb2a9ffe5aba I sent supoort ticket, no reply yet. Will get you guys updated when they reply. What are your views? poloniex.com My DGB transaction yesterday used the exact same transaction ID. I have opened a ticket. Sharing a Txid is normal because they sent multiple transfers in one Txid, the problem is that the TxID does exist in the blockchain. Maybe the problem is that they are not broadcasting de Txid to the network It's not only digibyte having withdrawal problems there. The poloniex clamcoin wallet is offline for maintenance, and clam withdrawals are disabled. Maybe the poloniex digibyte wallet is also currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. >Poloniex message:
CLAM is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the CLAM team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling.

No, choosing doge to invest is not a wise choice, as we know doge has been stagnant and there are no developer standing behind it, making dogecoin in coma state, all the rising is just the game from big investors, and I had ever been deceived by the rising, not long after the price go up, it's a slam to the ground, so no I wont invest in doge anymore
Yes doge is high priced. If you plan to invest in doge it's best to do it when it's fallen back in price, then wait until it goes back up again.

I copied this from the sent transaction at blockchain. I appreciate the support its strange to have to come here for solutions that I cant get directly from the companies I am dealing with.
You can see the transaction's status is still unconfirmed at this linked page. https://blockchain.info/tx/7fdfcb3f988a621e2bd6d4441e490ec3c6f64e322301ff77b530d58295e68b45When that linked page says it's confirmed your deposit should show in yobit.

Small time exchanges. They are risky to use. Better look for another one like poloniex and bittrex.
Poloniex has problems and stay the hell away from Bittrex. There are thousands of accounts at Bittrex held hostage, unable to withdraw. Bittrex lets you register and deposit, then tells you that it requires identity verification using driving license scans, etc before you can withdraw. If you give it the driving license scans you most likely still can't withdraw because it can take months to manually process the scans if the automated system fails. Poloniex is also switching to requiring identity verification using driving license scans, etc.

Can your family say no after you are dead?
Dunno. Don't care. I'll be kinda dead. They can make Christmas decorations out of a bucket of my gonads for all I care. So you... don't care how your family feels about it. Alright. I doubt anyone will want his organs. They want young peoples organs for transplants. Old peoples are worn out and won't last as long, and I doubt gentlemand is a spotty school kid.

If you make a ticket about it and don't get a reply for considerable time you can ask for help in the kraken announcement thread. They have support staff who read the thread and can sometimes accelerate replies to support tickets. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=290799.6020
