Where is the thread about me here? That account also "confessed" to be an alt of mine. The attempt to get a BTC/PP deal might have been a scam accusation or just the usual paranoia around here. One of the very nature of bitcoin people flock to is, anonymity. Take that out then people would hesitate using it. So why would they risk giving ID to you and exposing themselves? Another thing is that ID is not a valid collateral, read the stickies. Also, what is stopping your would-be clients from submitting fake IDs? Also when they default, do you think anybody would care when you post the IDs of defaulted loans?

Even that quickseller guy, he had a lot of positive feedback before he fucked up everybody. The point is, we place trust on someone we think is trustworthy. Even if that person is trusted by the whole community, what's stopping him from scamming? It doesn't mean that if he is trusted because of that "dark green colored rating" everybody here is so engrossed with, that guy will never ever scam someone. |

Would depend on the collateral you have. Do you accept like steemit account? I have 900+ steem power in it. Is that possible? I'm not familiar with steemit, but I've heard about it and made a quick research. A few things why I would decline this, 1. https://steemit.com/recover_account_step_1. Because of that link, it seems it's quite easy to recover your account. Hence, it will be next to impossible to secure the account. 2. The value of the account. I don't know how to value a steemit account. I'm not even sure how that "steem power" works. 3. The market for the account. In the event you default, there would be little to no market for it. I haven't seen anybody buying steemit accounts yet. From my research, I read something about getting rewarded with steem altcoins when you write. I'm not sure if it does really award you with steem, but if you do have some, you could offer that as collateral. As steem is an altcoin and can be secured easily. |

I would say, I could have profited more if I made a better setting for each coin. I was trading some weird altcoins like REP and I didn't place a setting that would maximize profit for this coin, like buy @ 0.7% and sell @ 1% since this coin is super volatile. I basically placed every pair I am trading with the same setting. So I got stuck with some altcoins that I bought at a good price, but since all my settings are at 2% sell then I got stuck with them because the price level of the coin lowered.  |

I have to admit that I am very impressed by your service. Especially the 'use your account while it is held as collateral' part, this is truly innovative.
My only suggestion would be to use a unique repayment address for each loan, so that there is no question as to who just repaid you when two borrowers owe you exactly 0.01 BTC on the same day.
