101  Economy / Economics / Re: Future without Middle men big way, but big Question? on: December 17, 2019, 07:06:15 AM
This is just like debating whether AI will take away jobs? The thing is that there will be disruption for sure. People will lose job but new jobs will be created as well. It is just that you need to hone your skills accordingly. If you look into job descriptions of many companies for various different profiles, blockchain knowledge is becoming an essential requirement.

So yeah, there will be a job loss which could be at massive scale, but simultaneously more different jobs will be created in one way or other.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 17, 2019, 06:44:01 AM
Right now getting into any altcoin can be really troublesome. There volume and price is highly dependent upon the price movement of bitcoin. People are losing trust from crypto and in such a case, the most widely accepted coin with the max volume should only be trusted which is btc.

I dont understand your hate towards bitcoin. You must have made huge losses in trades but that the part and parcel of trading crypto.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: December 16, 2019, 11:00:59 AM
We are more focused on bitcoin than ever as most of the users wants to invest into bitcoin assuming a bull run post halving but nit many are planning to invest into altcoins, I think we need to focus on altcoins as well as there are coins like Tron, ADA and all which can pump anytime and priced extremely less as of now and even if bitcoin pumps it will have positive affect on altcoins as well so I think we should invest into reputed altcoins as well.
The shift of volume from altcoins to the bitcoin is the major reason which is keeping others at the bay too when it comes to altcoins investment. It is like a ripple effect, once a few started leaving altcoins, others followed too. Now, for altcoins to regain volume, bitcoin need to make an upward major movement. In such a case, people take their profits and invest in altcoins.

Therefore, altcoin price is in a way related to bitcoin's upward movement. For that people are trusting bitcoin more.

Apart from several government departments, Kailaasa is also said to feature a ‘Department of Enlightened Civilisation’, which will revive “Sanatan Hindu Dharma”. It also claims to have a Dharmic Economy, Hindu investment and a reserve bank where cryptocurrency will be accepted.

News 2: https://www.vice.com/en_in/article/zmjpaa/rape-accused-godman-nithyananda-fled-india-bought-an-island-and-has-now-started-his-own-hindu-nation

This new nation even has its own website and claims to have a dedicated flag, passport, emblem and even a separate currency which will expand into a cryptocurrency.

I have seen his videos and from the starting he came across as a thug to me. All he does is twist science to support his vague ideology and I wonder how people can be stupid enough to follow such cult. Coming to him buying an island, naming it ‘Kailaasha’ and having its own BTC system is not possible as he has been barred to buy the island from the concerned nation.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: December 16, 2019, 06:25:47 AM
Does gambling have a main purpose, to start with?

Do you believe we are here for a reason?

If you had no time to waste in your life, would you still gamble anyway?

some interesting questions
will love to read your answers.(and more questions)

For me now the main purpose of gambling is to make more money but I got introduced to gambling for the fun associated with it. Also, I played for few months just cos I liked the game (Especially card games) and all the tactics associated with it. Though now, it is just to get monetary benefit out of it.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Does halving really create deflation? on: December 16, 2019, 05:54:46 AM
Bitcoin and deflation is weirdly related. Deflation means that the set amount of money can buy you more goods than before. In case of bitcoin the supply doesnt really define the deflationary or inflationary property of bitcoin. It is more dependent upon the demand as there is no set cap upon the valuation. Bitcoin can hold any value which is more dependent upon the demand. If you notice, leaving a few instances, bitcoin value is growing year after year. The halving wont create much of a difference as you are increasing the supply anyway. How much the demand is increasing will make a difference.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are the world’s governments not using cryptocurrencies? on: December 16, 2019, 05:16:29 AM
Who said governments are not using cryptos. In some countries government backed cryptos are already in existence and in some it is in the process of creation. Government might not support decentralized cryptocurrency like bitcoin but is not really against the blockchain technology or creating a cryptocurrency of their own. The advantages you listed is the sole reason these governments are venturing into cryptos. If it goes successful, they might altogether shift to cryptos in coming years from fiat.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: December 15, 2019, 01:47:40 PM
I dont think something which is this anonymous and decentralised should be used solely to run the world trade. There should be a centralised authority responsible for looking up the transactions. I understand that crypto tx are safe and free of any manipulation. But price can be manipulated illegally. If there's no one to look after it. That will create an unavoidable imbalance in the economy and no one would want that.
Cryptos should be used along with fiat as a payment mechanism. World shouldn't depend solely upon these decentralized cryptocurrencies.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 27, 2019, 11:45:01 AM
Ever had of a story of people who committed suicide or attempted it because they lost funds which is huge to them. Most of the stories are made up but also some a true and real.
I would never tell anyone to stop gambling come to think of it I gamble also myself but I will Ask we should be guided while doing so to avoid unseen calamity.

How can you control your mindset while gambling, this is really not easy I must say you are drawn to playing it over and over again it doesn't matter if you are winning or losing

Set your target~ before a days gambling you should have in mind what you want to win or what you can afford to lose its easier send than done I know but with constant practice you might just develop the mindset.

Get engaged in other things~ other than this helping out it can also fetch you funds that can be used for gambling or any other uses.

Have time to enjoy your winnings~ I don't know if its also happens to anyone, when you you gamble
And you immediately win a sum that was above your expectations if this happens you can try enjoying your winnings and then latter come back

Your mindset can be controlled is only if you put in effort into it.

I think leaving your emotions aside when you are gambling is a good way to have a controlled mindset. Also, come to enjoy with a set budget or the day. Dont take advices from others seriously and have your last decision.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: November 27, 2019, 07:40:45 AM
Maybe it's asked before, still, it will help us a lot.

Why do you gamble?

Why do you do not invest that money instead?
Why you do not donate them?

Because you are bored?
Because you are looking for entertainment?
Because you are going after the big score?

Why?

I got introduced to fiat gambling few years back & continued to play it for the love of the game, the adrenaline and the strategies involved init. Eventually , it became a source to earn some side money to support my desires. ALl I can say , the real reason for me to continue with gambling was the money & adrenaline associated with it .
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: November 25, 2019, 05:01:20 PM
Can you involve money for you to stop gambling or a gambler can really stop after he promises that if he wins this jackpot he will stop?
This is for the big-time gambler or those who gamble habitually or even those who have the urge to gamble when they have available money.

I have really not thought about it but if I ever decide to settle , I would at least require money to take care of 2 generations after me and for my retirement too beside my pension. Or every day deal of 100 dollars  till my lifeline would settle the urge of me playing everyday. Is it too much I ask for ?  Tongue Huh
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: November 18, 2019, 05:08:37 PM
Losing a trade by ending up in a stop loss is still not bad a deal. That loss can be compensated through just one big winning trade. Usually the risk reward ratio is 1:4. So by winning more than 20% of your trade can be rewarding. So a day trade can become successful as daily earning pretty easily if you can trade wisely and strictly follow your risk reward ratio. Dont think much about the overall trade win-loss ratio. That doesnt really matter.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin using or need! Vs stable coins on: November 18, 2019, 03:05:15 PM
Bitcoin might not be that successful when it comes to it being a currency. Not many people are accepting it pr for that matter ready to spend it.

But when it comes to being an alternative investment option, agree it or not, bitcoin is performing quite well. Bitcoin has beaten all the traditional form of investment in ROI successfully this year. Isn't that enough a reason for any trader to diversify and invest a part in crypto which is the most reliable crypto in the world.

Stable currency are good enough when it comes to money transfers across the countries. But the main inflow of money in crypto comes for trading purposes and bitcoin is solving that purpose pretty well.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: November 18, 2019, 02:38:02 PM
I doubt anyone has wrong idea about earning btc without work.
It is more about earning bitcoin EASILY.

People believe that trading cryptocurrencies is relatively easy and hence you can get rich faster by trading it. But they don't understand the fact that the high volatility will help you earn faster but at the same time can make you lose faster too.

Moreover, the ICO craze of 2017-2018 made people believe that there is a lot of money in ICO where you need to do little work but the pay is high. It was definitely the case a year before. But not anymore.

So yeah, gone are the days when earning bitcoin was easy. Now even that is not possible, forget about earning free bitcoin.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: November 15, 2019, 03:16:59 PM
It's hard to take a break from gambling if it's become a habit, what's your Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling, in my case my longest days of break from gambling is 30 days when I take a vacation from a place when there are no casinos, and no internet connection.

It has been a while since I have been away from any sort of gambling or trading for that matter. I generally put my money on G-table on weekends and live a serviceman life on weekdays. So I suppose the longest break I have taken would be about 20 days when I was away for a vacation in northern hills of Europe.
116  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you accept money backed by happiness? on: November 10, 2019, 05:00:56 PM
So lets say someone is trying to turn your laughter data (like how much you laugh throughout your day to day interactions) Into a encrypted digital collectible that could be exchanged globally throughout the world 24/7.

Would you participate in the open market of happiness?

isnt it already happening where the intelligent organization do record our digital journey, this could be data from our social media activities where these org can know about our interests, likes and dislikes. Tracking of such data can indeed show how and what makes an individual happy and where this info from raw data is used for target marketing. It is just that we dont get paid for that !
117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: November 10, 2019, 04:45:30 PM
2017 made everyone a trader.
Every coin was pumping and many people were able to scrap profits out of their trade setup. But 2018 changed everything and many those self proclaimed traders lost a lot in trades. Those are the people who didn't bother to learn how to trade. There are many new traders who enter crypto just to earn big profits without understanding the basic concept.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't react to the fluctuations on: November 10, 2019, 01:21:56 PM
We have been doing same mistakes again and again that's by reacting to the market fluctuations as either we tend to start buying like there is no tomorrow when we see pump or else panic and empty our coffers for slightest  dump and the reason I am suggesting you all to stop reacting is for the fact that the bitcoin market is going through quick pump and dump from past 4 or 5 days so it will prove fatal if we sell out or buy at this point of time. Just take some time and look observe the trend for week or so before jumping into any conclusion.
Reacting to each and every fluctuation can rob you off your money.
But keeping a tab on each and every fluctuation is actually very important. The reason being, sentiments in crypto market shift really very fast. Some small fluctuations followed by a bigger one can lead to trend reversal. If they are not followed, you might miss on an opportunity. Always be ready to take position after a fluctuation in case the market plays in the same direction.
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Make Bitcoin Drop To $5? on: November 10, 2019, 12:52:53 PM
If someone finds a loophole to blockchain ecosystem, then BTC or any crypto for that matter which has blockchain as the backbone, will drop to 0 not even $5. Bitcoin has a value because it gives a transparent and secure payment ecosystem which is unbreakable. If someone breaks that attribute and manipulates the ledger, there is no meaning of crypto will be left and they will all drop to 0.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM is only potentially $ 250 in November. on: November 09, 2019, 05:39:35 PM
That could only happen if BTC shows some sign of bullish movement and stabilizes at price point more than $12k. I doubt before that any other altcoin will show any sign of recovery. ETH has been struggling hard below $200 since log now. There isn't much movement in ETH because of BTC price movement. Unless BTC stabilizes at higher price point after breaking 2 consecutive strong resistance, I doubt ETH is crossing $200.
