541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market uncertainty on: December 10, 2017, 03:51:56 AM
It might be one of the reason that the experienced traders are selling their coins on profit but accoridng to me the reason for the current down trend is the opening of the futures market. The Bitcoin Futures market was going to be opened on December 10 but then it has been postponed a week now and will be opened on Dec 18 . Not many know this and I think that's why people have been selling their coins so that they ca take away the profits.

544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Strategy on: December 07, 2017, 02:00:09 PM
I would like to say you form my experience that invest in BTC and don't ever turn towards altcoins. There will be people who will say you to diversify your coins and buy some altcoins but Bitcoin is going bullish these days and making the altcoins drop in price massively. See the prices on coinmarketcap and you can notice that many altcoins have dropped 20% in price. You don't want that right ? It is better to invest in BTC as it is enough to give you a good profit in future. The forks are additional bonuses to your money.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 satoshi? on: December 07, 2017, 01:54:53 PM
This might become true soon as Bitcoin's price raises even more higher. I logged in my freebitco.in account recently to find out that they are giving out just 14 satoshis now. Earlier it was 80 satoshis and now they have decreased it massively. So there are pretty good chances that faucets will give out less than 10 staoshis very soon. Faucets are worthless these days and it's better to stop wasting time on such websites. Better to work for bitcoins on forum and websites than to spend time on faucets.
546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are dying !!! on: December 07, 2017, 08:50:52 AM
Most of the Altcoins are seeing a 20% dump in their prices. I think the huge growth in Bitcoin has sucked the altcoin's blood.
This is a usual thing as Altcoins are expected to dump in price when Bitcoin runs bullish. Those people who invested in alts would be having a really bad day. You should wait for a negative news about Bitcoin so that it dumps and altcoins rises. The futures market opening Dec 10 may be a good opportunity for the rise of altcoins.
547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptopia and their outrageous withdrawal charges and delay in depositing on: December 07, 2017, 08:31:24 AM
Which coin are you talking about exactly. It's obvious if you deposit shitcoins then that would take a very long time to reflect in the wallet.
I have been using cryptopia for quite a long time now and it has never given me trouble. There was a deposit issue once but once i mailed them it was solved within 24 hrs. The withdraw charges are a little bit more than other exchanges but then it is not too much. If you want to transfer the coins between exchanges then you should buy coins like Doge, DGB, XRP etc.. and then transfer them to other exchange and then convert them back to BTC. This will save you the transaction fee Grin

550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Crypto is best for day trading on: December 06, 2017, 05:21:06 PM
You should have asked this question in the trading discussion board as most of the traders are out there answering the queries.
Day trading is risky and involves much expertise in trading and knowledge about how the system works. At present the altcoins are moving like a wave where some coins are rising up while others are going down. DGB has been a coin with good potential and perfect for day trading. I say perfect for day trading because the coin has been going up and down repeatedly over the past few weeks. Research over it and invest on your own risk.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest other method to generate bitcoin apart from mining and trading on: December 06, 2017, 05:10:04 PM
There are a lot of other ways through which you can get Bitcoin. Faucets will earn you a few satoshis which are worthless. Investing in ICOs, websites etc.. could earn you big bucks if done properly. Campaigns on this forum such as signature and bounties can get you a good amount of BTC and tokens. You can also earn cryptocurrenies by your skills such as webdesigning, graphic designing, signature designing, logo designs etc...
There are many ways, try to search out in this forum in the marketplace and services to find out more opportunities.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price drop hard, Why ? on: December 06, 2017, 03:04:02 PM
The ethereum network is congested and people have had transactions pending for days. There are around 22000 pending transactions at the moment and it was higher than that a few hours ago. With all the app tokens coming online over the next year it doesn't bode well for ethereum's functionality, hopefully they will implement something to boost transaction numbers soon while we wait for PoS.
Agree with this answer. The Ethereum network has been facinf issues lately like the congestion of transactions and delayed confirmations.
Ethereum has faced these type of network issues in the past giving trouble to ETH users. ETH is adding up new features to it's platform and this might be another reason for the network traffic. It would be wise to stay patient and wait until the network issue is solved and the transactions are confirmed without any hassles.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bit coin hit $12500. Is this the time to invest in Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 02:47:59 PM
Bitcoin raised to $1000 and people asked is this the time to buy BTC or should I wait for it to drop in price.
Bitcoin raised to $5000 and people asked is this the time to buy BTC or should I wait for it to drop in price.
Bitcoin raised to $10k and yet people asked the same question. You people should understand how bitcoin works rather than asking whether to buy or not. Bitcoin will rise until there is a supply. Buy it now and don't regret it later. Just buy it if you can.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Large Bitcoin Holders are Big Believers on: December 05, 2017, 02:28:45 PM
They surely are big believers but rather than big believers I think they are more strong hearted to not have dumped their shitload of BTC into the market. The market will go unstable if they dump their BTC all together since there will be huge sell wall and many people competing to buy BTC at cheaper rates. The price might dump down heavily and might take months to recover as other investors start buying their load. It is best if we could collect as much BTC as possible since the price will skyrocket in some years.
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the top ten alt coins to invest in right now? on: December 05, 2017, 02:20:11 PM
Altcoins are going green these days as Bitcoin has become stable in price and revolving around the $11500 support line. It might be a good time to buy some of these coins as they are highly potential to rise in future. The list of coins is in no particular order and are arranged randomly.
ETH
BCH
LTC
DASH
IOTA
XRP
NEO
These coins have more potential and might give you good profits in a few months. Do consider holding 50% in BTC as whenever BTC rises the altcoins drop in price.
556  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Free of charge transactions in blockchain on: December 05, 2017, 02:17:27 PM
I think it depends on the particular exchange/wallet as I have seen some transferring free of charge. There is tether as you know allows free transfers  from tether to tether wallet. I also know about zebpay wallet which is an Indian exchange that allows BTC transfers free of charge for zebpay to zebpay transactions. I have myself used it in the past and transferred some coins to my friend for free(I mean without any transaction fee) . So it basically depends on the exchange/wallet and there are very few of them those allow such facility.
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 05, 2017, 08:09:16 AM
How would you react seeing BTC suffer from a correction and dropping in value just as it did when the price dropped $2500 from $11250 to $8750.
What will happen if you sell the amount in panic and lose your stakes about 25% . I know Bitcoin would recover the price but why would a person take such a big risk of losing his house when we know how risky it is investing in BTC. I don't think anybody would sell his house to buy BTC when he knows it could be stolen from wallet and never be recovered.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best altcoins to invest on: December 05, 2017, 08:02:05 AM
Hi,

I am new to crypto and am planing to invest some amount in following coins. Please let me know these altcoins are good or need to change.

IOTA,
digibyte,
cardano,
adex,
ripple,
bancor

Thank you .
Digibyte, IOTA and Ripple are a good long term investments. Altcoins are cheap now and it is a good time to buy them now since Bitcoin is stable.
The history has shown us the Altcoins bleed and drop in price when Bitcoin raises high. Bitcoin can go down as the year is going to end and the futures trading is going to start. So this might be a good time for Altcoins to rise. Apart from these I would recommend you investing in ETH, DASH, LTC, XMR as these coins have high potential.
559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start with Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 03, 2017, 06:47:50 AM
The most users would recommend you using Bitcoin and it is true you must be starting off with BTC. Just look at the charts and see this year's returns. 10 times the initial rate within a year is just mind blowing for any user. Obviously you should start with Bitcoin as it has survived every decline in price and has recovered and increased in price with stronger force. Due to limited supply and increasing the demand the price of BTC is more likely to keep increasing in the next few years.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Volatility of Bitcoin on: December 03, 2017, 06:42:33 AM
Live prices is the only way the merchant could solve this problem through. A software that shows the live price of BTC and the barcode and btc address could do the magic for the merchant. But then there will be other issues such as transaction fees which needs to be solved because smaller transactions will have comparatively higher transaction fees. This is why most ICOs create their own tokens/ coins so that the volatility and fees doesn't create a problem for them in the future.
