442  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this basically just another way to make money? on: March 16, 2018, 05:24:52 PM
Obviously this market is just another easy way to make money. Is there any other investment which promises you as many returns in this much time? Absolutely not. With BTC, you can get 20% returns in a day. Where else does this happen? Nowhere!
It has been a revolution for people and has given them a new way to make their living.
443  Economy / Economics / Re: Weak Hands lose money, strong hands makes profits in this game! on: March 16, 2018, 05:12:41 PM
I totally agree with your statement. This market is a great test of a person's patience and character. Only the ones who are capable enough are able to make money from this market, while the rest end up with losses since they either invest at the wrong time or they exit the market in panic.
444  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to work on bitcointalk effectively? on: March 16, 2018, 05:01:53 PM
First and foremost, you need to have detailed knowledge about blockchain technology and cryptocurrency market.
Once you have that, you can join a few signature campaigns which would pay you money for helping out other people by answering their queries. It is a nice and easy way to make money provided you have all the knowledge.
Lastly, you should have a good command over English grammar as reading sentences typed in poor grammar often creates a negative impact in the mind of the users.
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without Bitcoin, Life Will Be Boring! on: March 16, 2018, 04:59:06 PM
Yes, life would definitely be boring. I spend 6 hours a dav on average on this forum and other BTC websites. It has become an addiction and major source of money. If this ends, life will be boring as anything. Not just that, I would need to get back to my old and boring job, which I hated.
I wish this never ends and life always stays interesting like it is right now.
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time To Exit Trading on: March 16, 2018, 04:48:05 PM
You can set a target and the moment you achieve that, you can exit. But, the problem doesn't end there. People get greedy and begin expecting more returns. No one is ever satisfied with the returns they achieve. If you get 50, you will want 80. If you get 80, you will want 100. This greed cycle is what leads to disappointment later on.
447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: March 16, 2018, 04:44:18 PM
Trading and Gambling are two different things. You cannot compare both. Trading involves making educated guesses by studying the market and the news surrounding it, while Gambling is nothing but pure luck.
If done correctly, you can make millions out of trading. But, if you just jump in without knowing anything about the market, you will end up losing more money than you will make.
448  Economy / Economics / Re: The stock market is a bubble now on: March 16, 2018, 04:42:31 PM
If there was any bubble, then it has already been popped. Back in December, when the prices were at peak, that's when the market was a bubble. For now, everything is settled and has been hovering around this price for a while. I am just waiting for the price to hit 10,000$ mark again. Probably by April end, Bitcoin will rise again.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin loose its popularity? on: March 16, 2018, 04:38:10 PM
As long as people would keep getting high returns, bitcoin would never lose the popularity. Also, since it is the highest valued cryptocurrency, hence, it is not possible for it to lose out on the popularity anytime in the near future. A lot of the people in the world do not even know what cryptocurrency is and only know about bitcoin.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can i secure my blockchain wallets private keys on: March 16, 2018, 04:34:51 PM
You should save it on multiple locations so that it doesn't get lost. You can save it in following places.
1. Google Drive
2. Flash Drive
3. An old laptop which you probably won't use much.
By choosing the 3rd option, your keys won't be exposed to phishing attacks and scammers since the laptop would rarely connect to the internet.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how many alts will eventually survive in the future? on: March 15, 2018, 07:37:48 PM
Most of the ICO that are coming nowadays are mere shit. if we talk utility wise, the percentage of coins that can survive is pretty below 2%-3%. Coins like POWR, TRIG, VEN etc might survive. But coins which are only running on speculation with hardly any use case will most probably die in near future. It's just like the 90s dot com bubble. Projects with potential will only survive.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does Bitcoin price affect ICOs on: March 15, 2018, 07:30:11 PM
It definitely does. Bitcoin being the dominant cryptocurrency in the whole crypto marketcap, affects the price of almost all the coins directly or indirectly. Since, almost all the coins have btc pair, altcoin prices tend to follow btc. Also, eth being the major driving force of ICO is also affected largely by btc price fluctuation
453  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN bounce back to $20k in 2018? on: March 15, 2018, 07:29:08 PM
I too bought BTC when it was at peak and now regretting my move. How much did your friend invest? If he hasn't invested a lot, he should probably just sell his investment whenever the market recovers a bit and then use that money to invest in some ICOs. ICOs can give way more returns than BTC and I am sure that he would be able to make up for the losses he got during this period.
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Working for Bitcoin on: March 15, 2018, 07:27:29 PM
I used to do trading full time until I discovered this amazing forum. Now, along with trading, I also do campaigns for a few companies. It helps me earn money which I use for trading. I am sure that a lot of people from around the world would love to indulge in campaigns that pay them rewards in bitcoins or altcoins. It is an easy way to make money.
455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what you should do crisis time in trading ? on: March 15, 2018, 07:27:17 PM
In bear market, if you understand market and can analyze charts and trends, then go for short term trading, day trading or futures trading. Else, just keep long positions and keep on buying low. These are the best times to revive your portfolio or to average out the loss. But try to stay in top 20 coins and don't experiment much with low cap coins.
456  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought at 19k, now what? on: March 15, 2018, 07:23:44 PM
Since, you bought at pumped price, go long on your holdings. Forget your bitcoin at least till Q4 of 2018. Price will go uptrend by the end of this year easily. If you are interested in trading or investing more, get in the coins after G20 summit and forget your older investment as for now. Right now buy more to average out your $19k buy range.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: March 15, 2018, 07:20:56 PM
Banks are already against the bitcoin but supporting the idea of blockchain by bringing in their own Centralized cryptocurrencies. Banks have been warning people against the idea of investing or trading cryptocurrencies all over the world. The centralized financial institution like banks can never support decentralized monetary system so easily.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why price of Bitcoin is so volatility? on: March 15, 2018, 07:19:49 PM
I will try to explain it by giving some facts.
Suppose there are 1 million bitcoins in the world (just an assumption, although in reality they are way more).
Now, one particular person owns the half of it (500 thousand), while the remaining population owns the other half.
Every day, the other population buys and sells bitcoins, which leads to slight variations in the market. Fair enough, that's how market should be.
Now, when this guy (who owns half of the total supply) wants to make some money, he begins selling his coins (called dumping).
Suppose he bought those coins at 1$, and the rate today is 100$, he will sell all his coins for 100$.
Now this leads to a fall in the price and creates a panic in the market. Looking at this, the remaining population also starts selling their coins at loss in order to exit the market.
This creates the fluctuation in market.
459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: March 14, 2018, 02:43:28 PM
It is not about being a newbie but more about understanding the market and having your own reasoning. In crypto market you have to outshoot bots that do quick trading and analysis. If you are good at analysing market and keep a track of recent news, then there is no harm in getting in the rough game(trading).
460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: March 14, 2018, 02:40:21 PM
You can't have one trading strategy fit every market scenario. Cryptocurrency market is highly amateur where Market makers are only earning profit screwing the small investors. Coins tend to divert from chart analysis. Bots are doing the major trading. Thus, I always prefer short term trading with diversified portfolio along with having set stop losses and profit percentage. Never let your emotions drive your trading. Have percentages in mind and close your trades accordingly.
