Leave it to Jeff Garzik to totally fuck up something completely straight forward that has already been done successfully many times by others. A signed verified message from your address would have worked just fine but instead you I have to send you bitcoin and pay the tx fees on every address in every wallet including all my change addresses..... like seriously fuck off. Also like others have said, if you already moved your coins from your wallet to another then it is impossible to send the required btc to UB because your wallet is already empty... I also find it highly suspicious that I need to sign up on the website and provide my full name, phone number and verify my email address. This whole fork seems like a ploy to de-anonymize BTC holders for his blockchain analytics company.

I think the lack of a response to the questions being raised and a failed attempt at distributing tokens is a clear indication which way this project is going. I've pretty much excepted to myself that this is a scam now in my own mind. And even if it isn't a scam, this is a piss poor way to run a project. Lines like "you shouldn't be putting in more then you can afford to lose" seem to be the general excuse that makes people feel justified in supporting scams and Fing over their fellow Cryptonians.

I haven't donated but I am really fun of DAG and have Byteball and IOTA in my portfolio. Do you have any evidence that this one is a scam? No, the best evidence anyone has come up with is "I saw someone else scam other people once on this forum asking for money." - Literally dude that is it. Some people are rightfully looking for the code but the dev said at the beginning that he wasn't going to release unfinished code so... Fair is fair. I think the only thing felixando (the dev) has failed to do was that earlier in the thread he did say that the testnet would be up and people could see the testnet working before they invested. Investments have ended and the testnet never launched. To me that is the best evidence at this point that it could be a scam, and the dev never followed up with reasoning as to why he changed what was going to happen. The people that invested believe that in a time when most of the people on this forum have essentially *free money* that the risk/reward for being involved in this project was too good too pass up. A smart scammer would also know that and find a project like this. Personally I feel the project is real. I don't like that felixando changed what was going to happen with the testnet/investing and never mentioned why - but whatever, ain't no one perfect. |

Hello all,
Just wanted to update that we have decided to allow those in queue to earn the standard PoSP reward while waiting for a BPN slot - I see some still discussing this on the thread and wanted to put this to rest. Thank you all for the input and feedback.
Regarding the inactivity setting, as Ben mentioned, we are looking at 24 hours. By my calculations, a BPN if all slots are full should stake every 3 hours on average. I did not run the numbers for PoSP (queued BPN's) but they will not stake as quickly and often. So I think 12 hours would be the minimum we could set this at but I would prefer to leave a little bit of wiggle room so 24 hours is likely to be the setting. Feel free to provide comments and suggestions here.
We are internally testing the per-alpha release wallet and expect to have this out to the public middle of next week so community can provide feedback. At that point we should be about ready for the hardfork announcement for the Vault 3.0 with BPN announcement.
Also, I will be reaching out to coinbook team tomorrow for a status update.
We've past the middle of the week. Any vault? Any news? Any updates? Anybody there? nope. it's a shitcoin. should just let it die. |
